This was great! I have also learned one that works well for me - two side tucks right at each side. This allows the front to come down in more of a reverse “scoop” that just grazes over my tummy, which I am trying to downplay.
I was honestly amazed to see this video from you today. I was getting ready for church and wanted to do the front tuck with a button-down shirt. It looked ok however the back of the shirt was longer than the front and it really felt uncomfortable. Then trying to get it right after going to the bathroom I literally thought someone needs to do a video on tucking, tieing. A video to make sense of it for those of us trying to put our best look forward. This video was right on time and very helpful. I learned the shirt I was using was too long for the front tuck. Thank you both for your fashion videos!!!
@lynnelgin905 Stay hip? In other words, you worry about what other people think. You allow others to tell you how to dress. "Staying hip" basically means being a sheep who goes along with the "Idiot Majority" of others who are incapable of having an independent thought of their own.
Omg! Thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed. I was saying just the other day. When you all tuck it looks great, but when I try it, it never looks right. Now I can figure out which tuck might work! I am 55 and have lost a lot of weight, so I am finally feeling better about myself and my clothes. I am wanting to up my game by looking more classic and yet stylish. Now if I can just conquer the tucking and tying I feel that will really set off some of my outfits 😉 Thank you for all you do!
Thank you so much for this video! A couple days ago I was struggling with whether I should tuck in a shirt or not. It didn’t look right with a full tuck but it was too long untucked. I tried a side knot but it was too bulky. I decided to leave it untucked but a side tuck would have been perfect. Never heard of that before. Thanks for the informative video. Keep them coming!
If I don’t have a hair elastic available to create a knot, I will use my round bra disk clips to create a gathered look. I can sometimes leave it out or just tuck it into my pants. You two are adorable 🥰
You ladies do such a great job of showing a lot of different examples of each style--I love that! I will absolutely be saving this video for future reference! Doing a side tuck on a sweater is my new fave, which a learned from you in an earlier video. Thanks as always! 🥰
I use all of these☺️. Thank you for all of the great style looks for each option- my head is full of great ideas now:) I especially love the side tuck! Have a beautiful week ladies! Xo Tammy 🇨🇦
I love this video, but quick question about wearing a belt? I always feel better wearing a belt - how does that affect the tuck? I usually do the front tuck so my buckle shows
Great video, ladies! I have also recently learned of pulling the fabric of a t-shirt or sweater from the INSIDE on one side and then wrapping a small clear elastic around it and adjust the fabric flat. From the outside it looks like a little floret and gives nice definition and interest. Give it a try! :)
A great hack when you raise your arms and do not want your mid section to show...Wear a Bando top and slide it down to your waist. Not only does it cover, it also makes your tummy look a little flatter. I've even used this technique when I can't button my pants.
Love this one! I love the tied up hem but don't like to stretch out the shirt. Never thought about using a clear tie to do that. Thanks! And Kelli, you look so pretty and elegant in that pink color. Love that blouse!
Great tips thanks so much ladies! But I did have one question? On tops that are off the shoulder how do you keep from the top staying around your arms and not going back up over your shoulders when you raise your arms.?
This was very helpful! I have several tunic length tees that are a thicker cottony material and always skip wearing them cuz I didn’t know what to do…what is your suggestion ? It’s a lot of fabric…maybe the clear elastic tie? Thanks
Hi ladies ,great video brilliant tucking methods, definitely going to try these especially the side tuck with jumpers my mistake has always been to front tuck jumpers .....so yes definitely going to side tuck those from now on,thanks again all the best Mary in Australia 🌻
I think sometimes we have to get used to a different look for ourselves. Take a photo of yourself with both tucking and not. Then ask a trusted friend’s opinion or just look at the pictures yourself side by side and try to see it objectively.
That is exactly my body type (Kelli-blonde). I have a very short torso & a 28 inch inseam. Typically I prefer a front tuck, a side tuck or a knot. For years I avoided tucking shirts because of my short torso & I discovered it made me look like I had more weight in my middle. Now I accentuate the fact that I have long legs & I even love a slightly high rise jean (about 9 inches) because it cinches my waist. Definitely experiment with different tucks & embrace your long legs as an asset to be highlighted☺️
Would love to know where Kelly got the white long sleeve with elastic wrist, lace on top and solid btoom with accent above the bra line? Not in this video but on one where she had distressed jeans and fall wreath behind her. Can't seem to find it again. Thanks 😊
I like the tummy hidden so I’ll tuck one side of the shirt into a pocket and blouse it out a bit keeping the tummy hidden. Sometimes though it comes out easier so I’m looking for a solution to keep it tucked into the pocket. Any ideas?
Everything we are showing in these tips and tricks videos is from haul videos that we have done so be sure and watch our fall hauls from Walmart, Express and Nordstrom where we share all of our favorite items.
Could you show how to front or side tuck a button down shirt that has that stubborn button in the wrong place? I have two tops that have the button in an awkward spot (just above the waistline and I can’t leave it unbuttoned ) and the tucks end up making it buckle out. Is the half tuck an option? Where only one side is tucked and the other side hangs straight down? I’ve seen it a few times but not sure if that’s really a style? Thank you!
The half tuck is a style but we didn’t include it because we never seem to use it ourselves. It can be tough to pull off & I always feel like I look undone when I try it.
Would you consider doing a video about reasonably priced bodysuits that are not thong bodysuits, or would you have a recommendation for me? I would like to wear a bodysuit with my joggers. Thanks.
With a long-ish tee instead of using an elastic you can take it to the side and put it through one of your belt loops once or twice. It will stay. No elastic needed!😃
I noticed that your knots and side tucks are consistently to your left. Is there a reason for this? Perhaps being right handed you move your right arm more and that might interfere with the tuck?
As a right handed person, it's awkward to attempt a knot on my right side (and the right boob gets in the way, I can't see what I'm doing😆). I always do it on the left for that very reason.
Loved this video and your suggestions for tucking.. another suggestion tucking into a pocket of your jeans on one side.. works great and so easy and looks great
This was great! I have also learned one that works well for me - two side tucks right at each side. This allows the front to come down in more of a reverse “scoop” that just grazes over my tummy, which I am trying to downplay.

It's a stupid look.
Ladys, a big Thank You 🌹🌹! Wonderful suggestions! My favourite after watching is the side tuck with the little twist.

Best tuck video I have watched. Practical too. Thanks
Wow, thanks!
So so good!! Please do a video on belts!! Sometimes I have a hard time deciding to wear a belt or not…just need a different perspective 💞💞
Such a good reminder of all the tucks. You gals are wonderful with your video presentations.
Thank you ☺️

I appreciate this video so much! Thank you for really breaking it down.
GREAT INFO!
I actually just used that side tuck on a t-shirt this past week.
And will definitely try some of the others you’ve demonstrated.
To tuck or not to tuck, that is the question.....that you answered so well. Nice job.

This was very helpful! I have several tunic length tees that are a thicker cottony material and always skip wearing them cuz I didn’t know what to do…what is your suggestion ? It’s a lot of fabric…maybe the clear elastic tie? Thanks
I use a skinny rubber band for my long tees. I am 5'2" so most tees are too long. Better than tucking in all that bulky fabric.
Can you do a video on your favorite staple blouse and tops? Good quality ones? Thank u
Thank you both so much for this video..I now know which tuck to do with my outfits..take care!

Hi ladies ,great video brilliant tucking methods, definitely going to try these especially the side tuck with jumpers my mistake has always been to front tuck jumpers .....so yes definitely going to side tuck those from now on,thanks again all the best Mary in Australia 🌻

Great tips. I sometimes struggle with this. If I don't tuck sometimes seems frumpy and if I do tuck can look like my waist is really high up.
I think sometimes we have to get used to a different look for ourselves. Take a photo of yourself with both tucking and not. Then ask a trusted friend’s opinion or just look at the pictures yourself side by side and try to see it objectively.

Great video ladies thank you
Thanks for watching! ☺️
Thanks for this great video!

I like the tummy hidden so I’ll tuck one side of the shirt into a pocket and blouse it out a bit keeping the tummy hidden. Sometimes though it comes out easier so I’m looking for a solution to keep it tucked into the pocket. Any ideas?
I would like advice on how to cover my lower tummy. Tucking helps the upper 1/2, but the lower is still on full display. I wasn’t to hide that part.
Where do you get your cute blouses. They are so feminine and lovely with jeans.

@@MommiesMakeupAndMoscato me too…. I always feel like I look like I forgot to finish tucking in my shirt, lol. Love your videos:)
I do like your videos… but I honestly think that the “front tie” is an “out” for 2021/22
I've noticed you ladies are not adding belts to your outfits?
Do these tucks work with mid waist pants or high waist?
Yes! Absolutely these tucks work with both!! ☺️
Good job I 67 but like to still dress and be instyle
What are you thoughts on a back knot.
We have actually shared that in a previous hack video. It is another great option. ☺️
Great video
Great ideas
Thank you! 😊
When you make the knot with a rubber band..... tuck it under the shirt ..... this is another one to try.....

It stays until a bathroom break
