The MoM calls himself a "Lost Master" - Might that be synonymous with "Fallen Angel?" I had a lot of fun making this theory, so please don't hesitate to share your thoughts below.
@@adonaimelles2317 Dude, you're the man for tracking this information down. The parallels are clearly there, we'll just have to see if it comes into fruition
Funny. Here is something to brood on. The way he speaks. The way he acts. He’s a “scaredy cat” sounds almost like demyx or whatever his name is. You know. “DANCE WATER DANCE.
@@joshuafox5863 The way he speaks and acts is exactly like Sora. He calls himself a "scaredy cat" which is also Sora, as we seen him in Monstropolis. So, IMO it could either be Sora or Vanitas...
lol as a was scrolling down and he said MoM is light. In my mind I was like "wait you mean light yagami is in this game too?" Then I saw your comment and died.
The funny thing is xehanort is set up as the Baphomet, often associated with the Devil. During the Armoured Xehanort fight (second phase), he looks exactly like it. Also, Xigbar states Xehanort's role is the scapegoat in Luxu's, and by extension, the Master's plan. So, by your theory, The Master ( Lucifer) creates a devil (Xehanort) to help him obtain the True Light ( Kingdom Hearts, God).
@@chestertamayo1894 Well ... Sora always says light. Even if he is in the dark form. Light is actually not a name. He fights for the light so it makes sense to say that. I wouldn't give it that much importance now.
This is gonna be a big one: For starters, in the movie Back Cover, MoM was said to have “vanished, dimmed and faded away”. If he is truly Light, then it would align perfectly with the general premise of Kingdom Hearts, as the Light is slowly “vanishing, dimming and fading away” due to the Darkness that is spreading throughout the worlds (thanks to good ol Xehanort). Furthermore, a good reason why he wears the black coat is due to its purpose: to ward off Darkness, because he is (assuming) Light. [wrote this before I continued to finish the video] Moreover, the No Name Keyblade; sure the blue eye signifies him monitoring the what-happenings throughout the story, but also, it could signify the Darkness - the black body of the Keyblade - surrounding the small Light - the gazing eye - all alone... Symbolism’s here is too strong...
Plus i remember him clenching his first when talking to aced. When aced ask why they need a new leader, mom clenches his fist and then says in a serious tone that he might disappear. So ether he doesn't want to leave but does so for some reason, or he has no choice that he dissappears
Don't forget the story of the keyblade war. It was "fought over the light", "the light was forever lost", and the fact that the whole war over "Lux" could be a metaphor for his "children" fighting for his attention/love. The master could be the physical embodiment of light, and the reason that Vanitas possessed the second generation Foreteller Ven, was to try and find the missing light. Also, the Only time we ever saw "Hunter of Darkness" was shortly after Vanitas lost his form that was bound to Ventus. We again see a red eyed figure with "Anti Coat" who appeared before Vanitas appeared in the throne room, and only in Riku's dream. Vanitas appears different to different people(if he's not possessing someone). Another note is that eye color has meaning in KH. Blue = Light, Yellow = Darkness, (when Xehanort and Terra's Darkness combined they gained...) Orange/Amber = Vast Darkness, and so each progressively gets more reddish. The deepest Darkness should by that logic, be Red.
While i don't fully care about kingdom hearts lore i definitely think master of master is light itself because he says believe what you see not what you hear and when he told xehanort his name a ray of light appeared in front of him
I actually came up with the same idea while playing through Re: mind. Another thing to note is that the Master's name shocks Xehanort, yet he later mentions that he never met the Master again. This must mean that the Master's name would be something notable and a name we've never heard before. Light or Darkness would be the only names that fit this bill imo. I definitely think his name is more likely to be Light, especially with the evidence you brought up and how Darkness mentions having a "friend" in UX.
@Just a Human I'm thinking Sora might just be the middle sky and another character is morning sky because Sora's name just means sky Also, maybe not related, but the Final World, which Sora returns to after the secret episode is a midday one
Your theory around 6:32 has me really intrigued, so I tried to split my theory up into pieces. It's basically an extension of yours: *_What if that false light is Sora?_* Sora changed the events of Kingdom Hearts entirely as the MoM foresaw it all from No Name. His overuse with the power of waking to bring his friends back, and his god-like strength of heart has changed the events of Kingdom Hearts drastically from what he had envisioned. Sora. One Xehanort described as "Dull and ordinary" through special circumstances, managed to earn the worthiness of using the keyblade, and has held onto it ever since. He's always triumphed over every foe he's come across, the power from his friends being what motivates him. And his friends, including Riku, have full trust in him. Sora is inadvertently dictating the light, being its sole defender as other lights rush to his side. To MoM, Sora is an anomaly. The Master of Masters has seen that Sora the 'false light' has meddled so much with the future, but he realises that he'll need to step in soon enough.
This theory seems plausible, my only challenge would be that its clear both The MoM and Xehanort had an awareness of the False Light. If it were indeed Sora perhaps Xehanort wouldnt have been so quick to dismiss him as dull and ordinary. That said - this especially lines up when you consider that Sora was never supposed to be a Keyblade wielder in the first place. He was never bequeathed the way Riku and Kairi were, and he only got the Keyblade because Riku fell to darkness on Destint Islands. In so many ways Sora seems out of place, so your theory definitely holds some grounds to potentially being true
@@TheLandiLodge The real theory is, is Sora's mom still waiting for him to come to dinner? But seriously, his parents have been horribly ignored... It'd be nuts if the MoM was actually Sora's father
To extend on this, I remember people saying that Kairi's grandma could've been Ava after body hopping. I dont recall if they said specifically what her role was but what if she was supposed to have a granddaughter that connected with Sora romantically, someone whom he was supposed to risk his life for, so that he would eventually be out of the picture. It'd be pretty crazy if it turned out that way
Could it be possible that Sora isn't supposed to be sitting on the throne that he has been for the cover art of each of the games? Maybe Yozora is supposed to instead and the MoM and Luxord trying to put Yozora back on it. Also, calling it now, Demyx is Darkness. Who else would be a better candidate after having gone unnoticed all this time?
SPOILERS FOR KHUX APRIL UPDATE I remember when I first watched this video I spat out the water I was drinking because its perfect. In the update Luxu says "MoM sure hates darkness". Then darkness says "We are not found of light either".
It’s pretty much sora vs the 7 deadly sins, pride being the master of masters which is a name someone with a lot of pride would choose. And of course he’ll have six apprentice named after sins cause he’s Lucifer lol.

Not much time left this pandemic is to sweep the light off the planet. As writtened in the scriptures The Antichrist or false light pretending to be God would hunt the Christians in the same way that Hitler did and as writtened in scriptures all who die for Jesus and rejected the mark of the beast will be in God's kingdom the Kingdom of God in heaven; paradise. "light will expire as writtened" the book of prophecy is the Bible and the devil knows it front and back because he knows from this what will occur and plans around the plans of God the MoM is a false master the false LIGHT BRINGER. As writtened in the scriptures you cannot serve two masters. I saw a Christian RUclips video where God put into one of these Christian lady's hearts that the stock market was going to crash and I laughed and scoffed at it wishing it wasn't going to be true . A couple months later and this is now the reality. Oil has gone down -$40 the armies of the world USED to shed blood and fight over the profit of selling oil. America is printing trillions of dollars to send payment to suffering Americans layed off unemployed etc this is causing hyper inflation and as also recorded in Revelation Revelation 6:6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "Two pounds of wheat for a day's wages, and six pounds of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!". The price of food is going to skyrocket due to this hyper inflation but as recorded the Christians will be safe during this time. There's so much that is going to come and has already happened from the TRUE masters of masters in real life Jesus Christ the only beggoten son of God. This is the new world order that all conspiracy theorists have been talking about for years!!! Coincidentally all of RUclips videos talking about the new world order have been censored and taken down awhile ago. And conspiracy theorist was a name coined by the CIA to throw people off to the truth when everyone was sleeping and didn't want to hear that "Crazy talk" but I'm gonna tie it back to God he tells us so many times in the Bible I believe someone made a article of how many times he tells us not to fear. Don't forget WHO he is he is the same one that saved the Jews when crossing over the rivers in Egypt when the Egyptians were chasing them and hunting them down he caused a tsunami to open up when God told Moses to use the staff to part the waters and when they were safely across he closed them on the Egyptians. Even though Jesus tells me not to be afraid I'm terrified and extremely anxious. It's amazing how we all our brothers and sisters and we loved Kingdom hearts growing up and that same kid we was in the past is the same kid within us. In SORAS WORDS "KINGDOM HEARTS IS LIGHT!!!!"
Dude you just blew my mind, this is the best Master of Masters theory I've heard thus far. Also I know this doesn't relate to this topic but I believe the contents of the black box may somehow correlate to the mythological Pandora's Box. I know we technically saw the Greek version of Pandora's Box in the Hercules world, and I'm not saying the black box IS Pandora's Box, but I think the idea of having the black box as a plot point in Kingdom Hearts was inspired by the myth of Pandora's Box. The fact that according to certain mythologies, Pandora's Box not only released 7 evils into the world (and of course these evils differ depending on which interpretation you're reading), AND it also contained hope, it all seems like too much of a coincidence that we have six Foretellers and the MoM with names that correlate to the 7 deadly sins, and that Luxord himself said the box contains "hope". My theory is that the existence of Darkness, the Heartless, all the evils we've been fighting the entire series, derived from this very black box, and all that's left in the box is "hope", whatever hope that may be.
Dude, I'm with you on this one. Think about it, we find out that Maleficent is in pursuit of the Black Box in Olympus - then they coincidentally stumble upon Pandoras Box? Even though she said "that's not it" It doesn't mean this wasn't some sort of "tip of the cap" to the mythological trope that may be contained within the Black Box. Very interesting theory there.
@@TheLandiLodge I just wonder how Luxu and the MoM (and even Maleficent) play into this, assuming my theory is at all accurate. We know Maleficent keeps in contact with "Darkness", and he's pretty much been her guide and probably something of a muse to inspire her to pursue this black box in the first place, lending a bit of evidence that the box is where Darkness came from. We also know according to some extra dialogue that the MoM has already witnessed one battle between light and darkness when he was younger. I already forgot the details he gave, they were pretty vague anyway, as the MoM tends to be. Part of me thinks when the box was opened and "Darkness" was released, that was the start of the first war between light and darkness the MoM referred to...whether he was part of this war fighting as "Light/Lucifer" like you theorize in your video, who knows. But it's clear the MoM has a reason for not wanting the box to be opened. But thinking back, the way the MoM condescendingly tells Luxu he can never open it, almost like he knows that Luxu will be tempted to open the box, even telling him what's in the box just to stir up his temptation even more, I wouldn't put it past Luxu to have opened the box at some point in his 1000 plus year venture safeguarding the box. But that's just speculation, there's no evidence to suggest that the box was already opened after Luxu was entrusted with it, but I think it's safe to assume the box was opened when the MoM was much younger. Still, Luxu always seems to know more than he let's on, for all we know he could be the very reason the Heartless, Nobodies, Nightmares, everything we've come to know was released into the world, and the MoM knew all along Luxu would open the box. Sure the box appears to be locked, but that doesn't mean it wasn't previously unlocked and then just locked back. Luxu can use a keyblade afterall. We don't know what method needs to be done to unlock the box, but we can assume it involves keyblades. Maybe Luxu actually never opened the box, and it requires all 5 of the Foretellers, Luxu, and the MoM's keyblades to open it....this is my stream of consciousness when brainstorming all the possibilities regarding the box, going off the very little information we know about it.
@@a_nervous_wreck I think you may be right about Luxu opening the box at some point. In back cover the Master explained to Luxu that the fact that the book of prophecies even exists is proof that Luxu fulfilled his role, essentially giving him a role he's already completed. Luxu opening the box was probably in a page somewhere in the book and the master piqued Luxu's interest on purpose to make sure he opens it out of curiosity, the "You'll see" at the end of Luxu's case could also mean the Master knows he'll open it.
This is a really good theory, i like it. The Master of Masters paralleling this character seems obvious in retrospect now that you mention it. He has the same goal as Xehanort, being all powerful, but if he really parallels Lucifer, he doesn't want to kill everyone but instead to rule the world as some kind of all powerful god. This probably means his plan for getting the X-Blade and the power of Kingdom Hearts does not require him to destroy and recreate the universe. My guess for the future plot is that the Master of Masters will try to possess Sora and steal the X-Blade from him in Shibuya. Remember, Keyblades can't be stolen by brute force as was shown in KH1, since they are extensions of your heart's power, so possession seems like an ideal strategy to steal the X-Blade. He'll probably either possess Sora directly or possess someone like Yozora or Riku whom Sora might entrust with the X-Blade while he is still trying to regain his own powers. I do think his name is definitely not related to this character though. It is probably Superbia based on the black box saying 'x-super'. Then the big conflict between the Foretellers and the Guardians will be at the Keyblade Graveyard. This time around, there will be no need for a keyblade war ritual, and the Foretellers will already have all the pieces they need. 7 Lights, the seventh being the Master of Masters inside either Sora's body or Riku's or Yozora's. They want to open Kingdom Hearts so the Master of Masters can obtain full control over it, but unlike Xehanort, they want to do it the right way, and I think doing so correctly doesn't require the destruction and recreation of the whole world line. They just need 7 Guardians of Light who work together to control Kingdom Hearts under the leadership of the seventh who wields the X-Blade. The 13 opposing them will be the Guardians we know, who will have to defend the Graveyard and Kingdom Hearts. Roxas, Xion, and Terra are already back, that makes 10. Donald and Goofy could make another two, and then Namine or maybe even Ava could fill the last spot. The Master of Masters seems like he is supposed to be more morally ambiguous than Xehanort, so i think it's reasonable to assume he doesn't want to destroy and recreate the World. This lucifer analogy makes that seem even more likely. I really like the evidence you used to show this. Fun fact:The Master of Masters is also definitely a parallel to the norse mythological god Odin. He gave up one of his eyes to gain wisdom and foresee the future so he could be ready for a future apocalypse. After the Foretellers and the Master are defeated, they may not lose without accomplishing anything. Perhaps the Master will succeed in opening up Kingdom Hearts and allowing the World Line to connect to another one, so that even if Sora takes the X-Blade back from him, he will be forced to face a new crisis and resolve the problems of the Master's own World Line. Most likely, this will be personified in the dark enemies the Master of Masters talks about when speaking to the Foretellers, the ones he 'didn't say were human'. Whether he wins or loses, the Master of Masters might make the same end result happen anyways:A wielder of the X-Blade is forced to use its power to save/restore his world line. In fact, Sora may even be forced to revive all the fallen/killed Foretellers so that they can confront this new threat together. I think it is quite possible the Master of Master's original worldline(not the one in Union X, which is the same one as Sora's, it was simply split into many worlds within the same World Line) fell completely to darkness and got destroyed, and that his highest goal is restoring it. He's just going to resort to either throwing the crisis into Sora's face or taking hold of the X-Blade for himself so he can fix everything. Of course, to satisfy the Foretellers, he probably is also going to try to make them happy by mass-reviving those from Union X who were all put in the Unchained Realm, which basically seems to be an afterlife realm. Unlike the Final World, though, it seems like you can keep your body in it, and Ephemer is probably an example of someone who did exactly that. Xehanort and Eraqus did something similar:All keyblade wielders have the potential of making their real body vanish so they can keep their body in the afterlife and make sure they never fade away into nothingness, as long as at least one person remembers them in the real world. The Master of Masters has possibly been waiting to revive them all for a long time until he had the X-Blade to ensure he was either strong enough to do it or strong enough to defend them. And the other reason is that he wants to manipulate everyone:The world's many Keyblade Wielders wouldn't have ever agreed to open up Kingdom Hearts if they knew darkness from another world line would descend to theirs and potentially ruin it. So, he waits for everyone to die in the Keyblade War he prophecized, and plans to set himself up as a savior who 'unfortunately' had to unleash a new darkness into the world as an accidental cost of his grand ressurection scheme. All for the sake of restoring both his home world line and also the ones who were killed in the Union X world, under the moral excuse that none of them were forever destroyed anyways, and that their spirits were kept safe in the Unchained Realm. Nobody will like him for it, but they'll have no choice but to obey if he becomes all powerful, and in the end, they would probably accept what had happened if both world lines are safely restored. Maybe he will still be seen as evil, but he thinks it's for the greater good. This is all a ton of headcanon but it seems like it might fit. I have more theories about how the Master of Masters has survived for so long(probably has to do with him having the Power of Waking and him having a helper who also has it) and what his other end goals are if you are interested but overall these all seem like very probable things. Credit to youtube commentor Shirohoshii for the bit about there being 13 Guardians and 7 dark pieces for the future. I also recommend you watch the Secret Reports youtube channel if you haven't already, it has some great theories about Ava as Darkness and how Luxu revived the Foretellers with the Power of Waking, it's great stuff. Thanks a lot for putting in the effort to find these mythological tie ins, it helps elaborate a lot on what Nomura's going for.
I cant wait to come back to this comment down the line and see how much of this you were able to predict. As much headcanon as it might be, it seems like this could be how things go down. There's so much potential with this new saga, it has me eager for the next entry in the series. As much as I loved the Dark Seeker Saga, I feel like this new saga has the potential to surpass it. The Secret Reports is one of my favorite KH channels out there - I'd recommend anyone check it out. Thanks for watching and for sharing your thoughts and your own theories, we have a lot to look forward to.
@@TheLandiLodge Alright, thanks. I'm glad to hear you liked the theory. To be honest, Nomura makes things overly complicated even for me, and it was a real headache trying to understand exactly how the time travel bs worked, but yeah. If it doesn't happen in the Keyblade Graveyard, the Guardians are probably gonna have to go after the MoM instead and fight him once they realize he's taken the X-Blade. Xehanort did summon Kingdom Hearts even after getting teleported away to Scala Ad Caelum, so it's all theoretically possible that MoM has no need for the Keyblade Graveyard anymore once he gets the X-Blade from Sora. To be honest i am not sure exactly where Sora is right now but he seems to be in some kind of sleeping realm/dream world like in DDD, except it's one created by the Master of Masters. Is he in the same world line? Honestly i don't know, but that might be the simplest assumption. If sora is in the same world line as normal, then there are a few options IMO: A:The Master of Masters is still in another worldline where he waits to return via the black box. Probably the one the Union Leaders went to which i don't think is the same place as MoM's home world which is probably unsafe. In this case he can only reach Sora because Sora died/went to the afterlife/ethereal plane of existence where MoM can reach him via his own Power of Waking even without crossing to his world line. Sort of like a higher dimension that connects all three world lines, if i'm interpreting it right. B:MoM used the Black Box off screen shortly after the end of the Keyblade War to return to this world line. I'm guessing he either somehow directly used it to return, or there were instructions/tools/plot maguffins inside which Luxu and the Foretellers used to bring him back to this world. In this case, the MoM has been chilling in the dream world of Sora's Worldline for about a year, watching over Sora's progress as he battles in Dream Shibuya and tries to restore himself. All while waiting for his chance to swoop in and steal the X-Blade once Sora's gotten strong enough to fulfill whatever plans the Master has for him or to have his X-Blade stolen via possession or something. Now as for what this Shibuya exactly is, i haven't researched Dream Drop Distance enough to know tbh. I also sort of have a theory about the World Lines and how they came to be. I think it's wrong to assume there are infinite parallel universes in the Kingdom Hearts verse, and that the different worldlines actually aren't parallel universes, or more specifically, they aren't copies of the same timeline, they have diverging world histories. Basically my mini theory is that the three World Lines came to be when Kingdom Hearts first began creating worlds, and that each world line is dominant in either Light, Darkness, or a mix of the two. Sora's Worldline would be the central one, the Master of Masters' worldline would be the Dark Worldline where people can directly transform into humanoid dark monsters rather than having their heart expelled automatically when its too corrupted, and the Light Worldline would be the one that the Union Leaders escaped to to continue on the lineage of keyblade wielders. It could also mean that when the Master of Masters opens Kingdom Hearts, there will be a war across all three worldlines where Keyblade Wielders descended from the union leaders come from one worldline, forces of darkness come from the other, and all three groups battle in the central worldline for control over Kingdom Hearts and the X-Blade. I feel like if i'm right about this worldline theory, the ending of the Kingdom Hearts series will involve Sora and co handling the big war that results, and by the end, all three worlds will either be filled with light or balanced between light and darkness in some way thanks to sora and co's efforts. I doubt Nomura would include more than three or an infinite number of worldlines or anything. This also poses new problems in explaining just why Sora was able to reverse time if he didn't go to another worldline at all, but that's a tough problem overall. I definitely do not think Sora and co 'ran away' to a 'copy' worldline where identical clones of everyone they knew existed, since that would imply that the original Master Xehanort was allowed to successfully destroy the universe and become all powerful. So he really did just reverse time and turn everything back to how it once was, as crazy as that is to believe. But overall though i feel like the end of the series will involve the return of the X-Blade and lots of people becoming able to wield their own keyblades again just like the Union X wielders got to in the past. And this would be because the world is balanced again through the X-Blade's power:That could also be the reason why there are so few keyblade wielders right now, and why Eraqus's predecessors didn't just train up a whole legion of key bearers. They just couldn't, and there are so few keyblades because they are all fragments of the true X-Blade's power, and very few can be formed while it's in a shattered state. This could also directly lead into why the remaining guardians of light like donald and goofy will get keyblades when they couldn't before, since Nomura just loves the numbers 7 and 13. Heck, it seems like he chose to direct FFVII and FF Versus XIII(which later turned into FFXV due to delays) precisely because of his obsession with those numbers, lolololol. Sort of like how he made it so there are 13 important Plot Macguffins/Royal Arms in FFXV. Or how many people have noticed Organization XII has 13 letters, counting the XIII. Or how Sora Riku and Kairi's name letters combined add up to 13. Or how Terra/Aqua/Ventus do the same thing. And also Axel Xion and Roxas have this trait too. Scala Ad Caelum is 13 letters. Kingdom Hearts is 13 letters too. It's not just 13, either. The 7 princesses of heart is an obvious thing, but you also fight exactly 7 members of Organization XIII in KH2's mainline story, including Xemnas, Roxas arguably doesn't count IMO since he was just a cutscene fight in the original game, not someone you got to have gameplay against. And Nomura manipulated the plot of this game series for over a decade to make sure that the number of Guardians of Light post-KH3 would turn out to be exactly 13, including planning ahead with characters like Xion, Roxas, Namine, Terra, Donald, and Goofy to make sure they would add up to the right number at the end. He even killed off Replica Riku so he wouldn't mess up the ending number of 13 keyblade wielding guardians that he seems to have wanted so badly. I mean, i can't get why he's so obsessed with getting the exact number he wants, but he sure seems dedicated to making that happen. Not only is everyone either Sora or Xehanort, but apparently everyone has to have something to do with 13 lol. I wouldn't be surprised if Nomura made Subject X's name either 7 or 5 letters long, so as to make that name plus either Isa+Lea or Saix+Axel respectively add up to 13 letters. At this rate maybe this even is good evidence that the "Skuld is Subject X" theory is true lol. Normally i would say that's ridiculous, but knowing Nomura, who knows. Well i'm getting off topic lol. I think your video is still a pretty good video and yeah the Master of Masters is definitely partly based off of Christian mythology. Glad you like Secret Reports too. Hopefully some of these theories become true lol.
Oh boy does this add evidence to my ‘Inverse Prophecy’ theory And I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s thinking this, but my theory is that the ‘7 Guardians of Light’ are the villains, specifically the Foretellers and their leader, while the ‘13 Seekers of Darkness’ are the heroes, to be properly set up in the next set of games It’s all being set up SO perfectly with former Org members turning away from ‘the Darkness’, and losing Sora to ‘the Light’, the next act will build into this, bet on it
I think the Master looks like Sora, that’s why, even though he reveals his name to Xehanort, he doesn’t reveal his appearance His name is definitely not Sora or any name we’ve heard so far in the series because it holds no significance to Xehanort
Could be but also he could just have no body at the time. Since he is traveling so much, but then again we would not be able to have a voice like whne mickey used stopza no one spoke or when the brown robe linked destiny islands and it used text as speeach. So their is a body underneath the cloak for sure. Sora maybe
The master calling himself a “lost master” stuck with me I think it is more significant than we realize yet and he says it so casually but what I know is nomura hides the MOM and Luxu true face for a reason they might not be someone we already know but we may see their true identity before it’s even revealed
I dont know If I'll ever make it to that point, but I'm saving up for a new PC which should boost productivity. Thanks for tuning in dude, glad you enjoyed it

Being voiced by Ray Chase, I can only conclude that his name is Lucis. Noctis Lucis Caelum = Night Light Sky ("Light of the Night Sky") Split him conceptually in two and you get: Yozora = Night Sky Lucis = Light Lucis is a delusional King of Light, while Yozora is the "True King." "That's the Story of the King of Truth... ...RECLAIM YOUR HEART."
Going off the whole ‘blue eyes’ equals light, yellow eyes equal darkness’ thing, maybe Lea/Axel has green eyes because he’s been on both sides. Blue + yellow = green.
So is that possible, in that way, that "Darkness" and "Light" are not concept but just a eternal fight between two people, with enough power to be compared to the concept of Light and Darkness? this would change the meaning of "Using the power of Light/Darkness" to another reading level. People using "power of light" so, using the keyblades and stuff do so because the Master is the one who brings the Keyblade to everyone if I remember correctly... And "the power of Darkness" being the magic that "Darkness" as a character use.
Lol it might be, but there was just too much to back it up for me not to talk about it. And yeah, this is Nomuras wild ride at the end of the day lol, I won't be surprised if I end up right or wrong
I remember when I played KH3 I cant remember if it was the base game or with remind, however I remember hearing someone say to Sora when he went in Ventus heart something along the lines of “Don’t bother his heart, it is too pure and pure hearts can be unpredictable and chaotic when bothered.” I’m not sure what the voice exactly said because I’m too lazy too go back and find the scene, but Sora then asks “Who are you?” and the voice responds “Me I’m... Darkness.” Again I cant remember the lines word for word, but I remember hearing the voice say they are Darkness. Also I just remembered this was indeed a scene from reMIND dlc.
I've had the theory that the masters of masters if the ardern of kingdom hearts and that yozora is the noctis making the theme of usurper for a false king like in final fantasy 15 fit well with this theory a little with yozoras eyes both red and blue idk and it fitting in with redemption for ff15
My theory is that Sora is the "False Light" that MoM refers to YX about, hence why YX seems to have so much malice towards him, as Sora's friend's are his strength, and YX says "Their light is a total farce" and "Those who are weak, and who desire greater power, simply strip the strong of their power, and convince themselves they've earned it". I would like my theory to be true, because now that Ventus, Roxas and Xion have been released, I feel like Sora has lost some importance to his character, so having MoM tied to him in some way shape or form would be cool.
Watching this video got me so excited and hopeful for the future of this series. You've truly provided such a strong case that I really do think Nomura incorporated a lot of these ideas into MoM's character. I wouldn't be surprised if all of this came out to be true. I just can't believe that I missed the more obvious clues like a character named Darkness existing and the flash of light that appeared after MoM said to believe what you see, not what you hear.
I have two theories that build off this theory: 1. Kingdom Hearts is Heaven. -Kingdom Hearts is the source of all hearts and it's where hearts return, kinda like how God is the maker of all people and people's souls return to Heaven. -Kingdom Hearts is also the source of Light, if MoM's name is Light then he could come from Kingdom Hearts like how Lucifer was an angel in Heaven but got thrown out. -In the secret cutscene at the end of KH3 MoM puts his hands in a heart shape in front of the moon and laughs. This could be because he wants control of Kingdom Hearts like how Lucifer wanted to overthrow God. 2.Light looks like Yozora. -Sora's name translates to Sky and Yozora translates to Night Sky implying that he is the opposite of (or at least opposed to) Sora. If Venitas is Darkness and he looks like Sora it would make sense if Light looked like the opposite of Sora, Light would look like Yozora
Someone else has a comment that goes along with your theory. They think Yozoras body is the Masters body and thats why he only has one blue eye and one red eye
Have to say ... at first I thought you would overthink it. But your points are good. Why didn't they just remove the camera or something? No, we will get light and hear nothing. Even the MoM is really afraid to take off the coat makes sense. That Xehenort never knew who he is would make sense. How should he know someone calls light. Find your theory makes more sense than the whole Sora, Demyx or anyone else is MoM. I don't think Nomura will make the same move as with Luxu. So, I think everyone will have the wildest theories about who the MoM is and in the end he is not really a human. Is my favorite theory about the MoM now.
Thanks dude, I really appreciate that. I personally never thought the Demyx theory is viable, and the Sora theory doesn't really have any evidence to back it up. It's possible that I'm wrong, but this was the best hypothesis I could come up with based on the evidence we've been given
Rewatching a scene from X Chi(translated by KHinsider), there's a quote from the Nightmare Chirithy I'd like to point out; "The truth about the world isn't something you can just be taught by someone. It's something you learn for yourself." Sound familiar?
The master's eye has three colors in it. Blue yellow and green. its mostly blue because he was from the light and has been tainted so the yellow (evil) starts to take over making green showing a internal struggle but the yellow (evil) is taking over from the one single yellow line making its way out from the green
*Not sure if someone pointed this out already but, if that is indeed his very eye on the Gazing Eye Keyblade **2:40** then that’s not a normal human looking eye. It looks more like a dragons eye. And sometime Lucifer is said to take the appearance of a dragon* *Another interesting parallel I notice is that he took his own eye out to further gain knowledge, to see the future. Much like the All-Father Odin. Who also took his eye out too drink from Mimir’s well of knowledge. And now he’s capable of seeing far beyond than ever before*
I believe in that theory too! I've been making some parallels with the homunculus from full metal alchemist, where the "father" get rid of his sins in order to become perfect. Because of that, i think that what lies inside the box is in fact his pride, sealed, marked with sigil "X". The sin that aims to become complete, to achieve his true form once more. And, because of that, being the traitor. One among the sins to be the traitor. I just think that the prophecy did not happen YET! There is another parallel i'd like to discuss, about castlevania - lords of shadow. The lords of shadow were created the same moment the warriors has risen to heaven. I mean, i think the current form of MoM is a personification of light, and at that moment darkness was created as well, just like ventus and vanitas. As a being of pure light, he cannot accept Sora worthy of kingdom hearts, calling him a false light, just like lucifer could not accept the humans to be loved by god. Anyway, i needed to let it out haha
Hm. Oddly enough I think the Master of Masters is Yen Sid. He seems capable of creating vestments that ward off the darkness, as is evidenced when he created Axel and Kairis clothes, and he seems obsessed with saying the same line that MoM says.... may your heart be your guiding key. As is evidenced by Goofy saying that he has heard him say it on many occasions..... No other evidence then this, but it would be interesting.
Not only that, but he knows way too damn much, and nobody comes after him, they know where he lives (maleficent & pete especially) and the fact that he grants keyblades to them (as you mentioned) The only things that are flawed about this theory is the fact that he might have not been around before the keyblade war because he’s about as old as xehanort if not just a tad older, maybe even younger. It doesn’t change the fact that he mentioned he was a young master in his younger days & can determine whether someone is worthy of wielding a keyblade let alone being deemed a “keyblade master”, but definitely isn’t a lost master. I love your input on this. It’s great 😃
Pretty interesting. However this leads into a bigger question. What does the master of masters want? Why does he seek kingdom hearts? How did he put his eye into the keyblade?
Interestingly Morning Star(Lucifer and Venus) is also found as the name Eosphoros (Greek for bringer of light)... Eosphoros -> Eos (the land of ff versus 13/ff15 ?!) *Laughs in nomura*
The Master of Masters...He’s Kingdom Hearts. Or more correctly a humanoid light figure created from Kingdom Hearts to confront the darkness. He’s basically Jesus. The wielder and the rightful owner of the X-Blade.
Alright I really like your theory and it got me thinking in ways that I hadn't before. After watching the clip form remind again with your idea that it really was MoM saying his name my first thought wasn't that his name was light. It was that he was speaking in his native tongue. He believes that you can trust what you see better then what you hear comes form the fact that his people talked using light. When he chose to take the foretellers under his wing maybe before then he had to start speaking with sound. As for his translated name being Lux Ferre or something close to that I like it better then some of the other ideas that are floating around. Now onto something that I find kind of confusing. After Remind before I started listening to what others where saying I kind of decided that False Light didn't mean anything to MoM. Xehanort was the one that decided that leak people where taking power form the strong and calling themselves right, and good, and light. It is Xehanort that feels that the world is full of false light and the world needs to be changed. MoM for reasons still unknown to us is trying to make Xehanort act, but the idea of false light is something Xehanort came up with MoM just give it a name. It doesn't seem to me that we know what MoM believes in. When he is talking to anyone he takes the ideas that they have already voiced and spins it around. This spinning often makes the idea that they already had seem much worse then they thought in the first place and thus the person that he is talking to needs to take action. The actions that he has people take often lead them unto conflict with others that he has done the same thing with and so I do not believe that we can know what it is that MoM really believes. What we do know is that his talking to key players and putting them in conflict with others has lead to at lest two keyblade wars. In Union Cross he says that dark beings not Heartless or Nobodies but beings that where not humans but could look like them have been fighting the light over kingdom hearts since his childhood. We may have thought that it was always the darkness that started these long forgotten wars but maybe the beings of light are also starting them in a unending cycle of war. So does MoM believe that there is a False Light that needs to be stopped? Maybe but until we know more about him I am thinking No. At lest not in the way that Xehanort believes and acts upon.
I really like everything you have to say here. The idea that communication can be done through pure light is an interesting concept. As for the "false light" you are correct in saying that we cant confirm it until we know more about The Master. So much of The Master is shrouded in mystery, to me that's what makes his character so fun as it makes room to conjure up theories like this one. However, you're dead on in that a consistent pattern in his behavior is his ability to manipulate those he communicates with into conflict. Itll be interesting to see where all of this goes from here, and if The Master truly is concerned with "The False Light" I appreciate your lengthy and well thought out response, thank you for tuning in!
@@TheLandiLodge I agree that it is a lot of fun to come up with theories. I have seen very few that I have not believed that there could be some truth to what the person was saying. The Master is a person that I love to talk about. I have about ten different ideas of who/what he could be. When I choose to comment I try and stick to an idea that is talked about in the video at lest partly. As for the length I try and keep the comments as short as possible and still explain my point of view clearly. It is very rare that I make a small comment but so far I don't think that I have bothered anyone by saying all that I wanted to. Thank you for talking back I look forward to hearing more of your thoughts.
@@hillaryslack2884 Well for what it's worth, at least on my channel - however long or short a comment is, it's never a bother. What good is this platform/comment section if not for being able to talk to like minded individuals about common interests? Thanks again for watching and commenting
The Latin for pride is Superbia, which would be the logical extension of the others. But remember those are pseudonyms the MoM assigned, not their given names. However, another word for pride that is Latin-derived (though not meaning quite the same thing in Latin) is Vanity, from Vanitas, emptiness. It's possible Vanitas is the 7th, not the MoM. Or that they are somehow the same thing...
omg actually going off that and the whole sora and yozora thing (sky and nightsky) and vanitas usually looks like sora this is crazy all the connections
@@saimsami8469 I've got quite a backlog of videos I'm working on that range from story analysis, to breakdowns, to theories. I love doing theories like this, but cant bring myself to making a theory video for the sake of doing so. So while theory videos may be more spaced out, you can be sure they are done thoroughly and passionately
Interesting theory, I like the the parallel for Lucifers name especially considering what's underneath Daybreak Town. One thing though -The false light they're talking about is the people. Young Xehanort and the MoM were referring to how people use light as justification to seize power.
i like this theory . hes having a conflict with darkness . he probably found xehanort to have great potential in helping him out , so he sent xehanort off that "tour" to study darkness . basically he wanted to see if xehanort could find a way to control darkness . but xehanort ended up falling in love with darkness and thought he knew it enough to control it . so mom took xehanort's coat which protected him but he ended up getting consumed by darkness . mom pretty much been sacrificing like xehanort and luxu in order to find ways to control darkness . might be wrong but this is pretty fun to talk about
Right? I think it would be awesome because that allows them to keep building into Xehanort's character even after he's passed. In a way he would be come a sort of "dark tragic prophet" who saw the incoming crisis, but just had a terribly flawed means of execution
@@TheLandiLodge I think that puts Xehanort's seemingly changed motivations in KH3 better in line with his desires from BBS. He believed he was doing the right thing by flooding the worlds with darkness, believing it was the only way to save the worlds. Summoning Kingdom Hearts, like Gula, perhaps to draw out the Master of Masters, who fears D/darkness so much. But time and again in the series we hear about light and darkness being the same, needing to be in balance. Perhaps it's a bit of a reach, but if they're meant to be personifications or representations, then the MoM as Light running away from the darkness could be disrupting that balance. And as you said, Xehanort went about trying to rectify it in a flawed way.
Didn't see anyone commenting about that, but we can't forget the inscription "χsuper" on the Black Box, which is also a reference to the Latin names of the Seven Deadly Sins, since "super" is the diminutive of superbia, that is, pride. It may be just some kind of "nickname", just as MoM gave the Foretellers their names, but I'm inclined to think his name could be an acronym to Super
Jesus, this is some big brain shit, I've never heard anything like this from the orher youtubers or reddit, this makes a LOT of sense, you need more subscribers man!
Thank you Angel, I have a passion for story telling and the Kingdom Hearts series. The subscribers will come in due time, in the mean time I need to keep making cool content for the fanbase to enjoy. Really appreciate your kind words sir.
It is indeed possible that his name is Light but I think it may be something else. Instead of the flash meaning light it could instead be a corrupted part of the big X's memory. Corrupted either on purpose by the MoM (what's the harm in telling him his name if he can simply erase it from memory or simple old age playing it's part (either could work). What if the MoM said something along the line of: "My name is Pride(Superbia, the missing sin, black box super-X)." This would explain X's visible confusion. After all, who names themselves Pride? Also of note is that when MoM states he is what you see the answer to that is that you see a Paradox. One whom chooses to both simultaneously take steps to save and damn a world just to sit back and watch from the side with his popcorn. All because he can. If THAT is not pride I don't know what is. Or none of this is even remotely close the MoM reveals his name to be: Sora's Dad
This is an amazing theory. His name could be Light or maybe he might have two names. Since the Foretellers names are based on sins, we're missing pride...or also known as vanity. I believe Vanitas has some sort of connection to all of this later on in the story as his name fits with the other Foretellers. I don't think Vanitas is the MoM himself but maybe just a piece of him while the MoM real name is Light or maybe even Licht
You nailed it bro and now we've all been spoiled haha. I had thoughts of this before but the way you articulated and connected everything was spot on and great. Subbed.
So this is essentially saying that MoM is Ventus. Near the end of KH3 Vanitas said “and what I am is Darkness” well the other half of him is Ventus who is all light. It might make a lot more since when you trace it back to BBS when Xehanort was very fixated on forming the x-blade by making Vanitas and Ventus fight. He must’ve known something about that as he got older. Maybe that’ll be answered in Dark Road.
So the official Kingdom Hearts 3 E3 extended trailer from 2018 begins with a blue text on a black screen that says "The Light is gathering together hearts driven by one oath, one purpose" (you can see for yourself here on YT). I originally of course thought it referred to the Keyblade War at the end of KH3. But if the Master of Masters is Light, then it could refer to the new arc, and literally mean that the MoM is gathering hearts somewhere. Say, in Shibuya, where the MoM seems to have some kind of leadership role as seen at the end of the KH3 secret ending? That is where Sora and Yozora have both ended up at one point, and both apparently sought to return back to their own worlds. That is not all we hear of "oaths", because as we know, at the end of ReMind, the tagline "ReConnect: Kingdom Hearts" was replaced with "An Oath to Return: Kingdom Hearts". If this theory is correct, then the message at the start of the E3 trailer could literally mean "The Master of Masters is gathering hearts driven by an Oath to Return". Why, I'm not sure. To subject them to the Reaper's Game? Perhaps he wants to toy around with powerful hearts by separating them from what they hold the most dear (the Nameless Star, Kairi)?
^ THIS. Just went back and watched the 2018 trailer, and god damn - in theory this could make sense. I've been trying to flesh out what The Masters Endgame is, why he's gathered Sora & Yozora in Shibuya, what could possibly be in the box, for what purpose The Foretellers have returned. I'm hoping Melody of Memory shines a light on some of this.
You know what would be insane? You know how when Sora "speaks" to Darkness he doesn't hear anything? What if the scene in question played out exactly as we saw it and Young Xehanort "hears" the name Light in a similar manner to the way Sora "spoke" with Darkness? Or Young Xehanort didn't hear anything at all and only saw the ray of light. Given his reaction to the name I think it could go either way but it would neat as hell if Light can communicate similarly to its opposite
I think the Master and Luxu are the same person. If his name really is Lux, it would make sense for Luxu to have a 'μ' at the end of his name, meaning "micro" which is within the same ballpark as all the name translations. The whole thing with "The truth is what you see with your eyes (their identical appearance), not what you hear (the difference in their voices, and their obvious difference in maturity)" really just solidifies this whole thing. ALSO, stemming off of this point, the Master is very indirect and sneaky about a lot of things, so it's not too far off to assume he's also lying about the eye in No Name being his eye. Luxμ shares the same eyes, just at a different time, so the Keyblade doesn't actually do any of the observing. This would also explain why there are eyes on other totally unrelated keyblades with no feasible purpose. ALSO, this would explain why Xigbar (Luxμ) shares mannerisms with the Master, because Luxμ was inevitably going to mentally grow into Lux anyways.
it's funny because that looks crazy enough to be part of Nomura's thoughts XD I, myself, make kingdom hearts theories (even though I don't make videos of it) and I enjoyed yours!
The MoM might also have a counterpart named Darkness, because we now have White robes that provide protection from light. Or it's the other way around and the MoM's real name is Darkness but still, you get my point.
I loved the theory but it is also interesting when MoM is setting up to be the main antagonist. I love the idea of an "evil" light because throughout the Xehanort saga, darkness and light are a balance. However, darkness is bad. No one talks about how light can be an embodiment of evil and who is to say that darkness might have an embodiment of friendliness such as the Mushroom heartless? Therefore, MoM being a Light being and an antagonist would be so freaking awesome
I am convinced MoM is a far off future yozora(yeah, Noctis Lucis Caelum). Sora now being in Quadratum will change the future bc he will save Yozora from becoming this future version of himself.
The True Key to kingdom Hearts is created after the clash of Light and Darkness. This may be the key to the true end to K.H. as Light himself said he desires to destroy the world.
a little late to the party because i just finished the whole KH series now. this video made me remember why i loved the time after KH1 so much, all the people getting together and discussing their wildest theories. anyone remember that one forum solely made for theorizing about the deep dive ending? i just love the anticipation of whats to come, so many possibilites in this universe. all thats left to say: exceptionally good video bro, i dearly hope this theory turns out to be true.
Lots of good evidence! At the very least, I'm pretty sure that the next saga isn't going to be as much about light vs. darkness anymore, at least not in the way we're used to. I'm gonna check out some of your other vids!
This is all pretty good, really the only point i wouldn't use for evidence, but this comes more out of how i taken the context, it's the line about the never taking his coat. Because i took that more as him mooking how stupid in the future Xehanort would be by allowing himself to think that he could control the darkness.
Here's a crazier theory: he's Hanekoma from TWEWY. Why? Because he's a fallen angel, he has a similar personality, he wants to overthrow a god, and if MoM has a connection with Yozora this would explain why Shibuya is so important.
In the original KH3 teaser with just eraqus and xehanort as children, the screen asks if we have heard of "lost masters", and for a split second it has darkness and light alone on the screen! Surely darkness and light are lost masters playing the larger chess game. It would make sense, especially seeing as "God" in their realm IS Kingdom Hearts, as the heart of all worlds would be heaven, the heart of all hearts would be God. I think it may point to MoM & Darkness being the actual embodiments of light and darkness, and that light got tired of the cycle of war it and darkness had, so he decided to change the course of the universe, hence why kingdom hearts (God) allowed their world and many other worlds to become Hell. I believe yozora lives in the world where the original keyblade war happened, the same world as TWEWY characters from KH3D, and thats why they have a different battle system and a different realm for death, that being the town of shibuya. I think its possinke that Yozora's "Star girl" was a character whose heart was meant to go to kingdom hearts, but when MoM disrupted the balance, she was lost.
Could kingdom hearts be the false light? When he talks about it in the back stories when talking to Ira,kingdom hearts is brought up and the MoM seems kind of disappointed, frustrated resigned as if he knows that it’s false. Maybe that’s why he wants people to open it to reveal its falseness. I may be talk out of my arse here to be fair. It he doesn’t seem to like kingdom hearts, what if it was created during the first key blade war, the one the MoM fought in that he talks about with Luxu...food for thought?
After thinking about it more, I'm thinking Luxu is meant to be Lucifer (Gnostic version) while the Master is the Demiurge. If this is true, Luxu will be shown to work against the Master in some way, maybe even actively helping the guardians. I can't get past the fact the baphomet being tied to Luxu and the Master being Superbia. In Abrahamic religions nothing is more proud than God himself. Anyone who isn't the Demiurge himself is a false light. Anyone below him his false and he's unaware of any beings over him.
Very well said, I think it would be cool to see Luxu turn sides or in some way turn on the Master after serving his role with such devotion. But as for the Baphomet, wouldn't we attribute that to Xehanort based on his armor at the end of KH3?
@@TheLandiLodge Xehanort is just Luxu's proxy. We haven't seen Luxu's mask but if it's anything like the other foretellers matching their keys his will be a goat. Im working on a antithesis to the sins of the foretellers that they're all red herrings and that the Master is Envy. The Demiurge thinks he's all powerful but he's actually a jealous being (first commandment) of the worship of a light brighter than his (Aeon, the supreme being. Maybe Kingdom Hearts itself?)
I noticed another curiosity. I believe Anti-Black Coat nightmare is a construct of the Character Darkness. As battle started against it, the area Riku is battling in gets darker, so you cannot see them until you get in range. The Master of Master may have turn the lights off in a similiar manner in the newest Union X update.
@@TheLandiLodge I just noticed something else in RE: Mind. Two things, in fact. First, the title. We spend a bit of time during the Dlc as Sora's ghost from the future. A Mind returning to the past, if you will. A returning mind. Second, this shows Light beings can possess people. During the Battle against Saix and Xemnas, the Future version of Sora jumps out of Past Sora and into Past Roxas. You then fight as Roxas. However, you are not fighting as Roxas, but as Future Sora in Roxas. I now think Mom is possessed by the Archetype of Light. So even if we see his face, it won't be the real being but one of their vessels.
Morning star is also very relevant. His keyblade chain with the other eye is shaped like a star with some curves on it to possibly represent flames for the sun
and I thought I was smart for figuring out Superbia.. Holy crap! This is amazing. Nomura is going to start a generation of philosopher and religious scholars, and I'm not even religious! This is just beautiful, and so detailed. Amazing commentary, and amazing that you can see these patterns so well.
Very nice theory! I've never heard about the fore tellers and the 7 deadly sins until now, but it gave me an odd thought that might be some kind of lead. (but knowing my sleuthing probably not.) I did a google translate of "pride" and its "superbia" , that reminded me of a different youtuber's video i saw where they pointed out the black box has the word "super" written on it. So if the naming thing aligns with the other fore tellers then perhaps his name is some form of "Superbia" and maybe its himself in the box? like maybe the box allowed him to disapear and lie dormant for the countless years leading to the end of KH3. I know they can pass hearts into another vessel but maybe the MoM used the box in order to keep his original form, maybe because he was "pridefull" about it? Just some ramblings.
Give yourself some credit here, there is something to be said about the Master being connected to Pride or (Superbia) However I have a feeling that whatever is in that box will be completely out of left field....
The MoM calls himself a "Lost Master" - Might that be synonymous with "Fallen Angel?" I had a lot of fun making this theory, so please don't hesitate to share your thoughts below.

I'm glad you brought this up, there is no questioning that Xehanorts armor is inspired by Baphomet. Itll be interesting to see how this all plays out
Well, Lucifer means Light-bearer

@@chestertamayo1894 Well ... Sora always says light. Even if he is in the dark form. Light is actually not a name. He fights for the light so it makes sense to say that. I wouldn't give it that much importance now.
@@charlene1610 that's because the antiform revolves on the overuse of light
This is gonna be a big one:
For starters, in the movie Back Cover, MoM was said to have “vanished, dimmed and faded away”.
[wrote this before I continued to finish the video]
Moreover, the No Name Keyblade; sure the blue eye signifies him monitoring the what-happenings throughout the story, but also, it could signify the Darkness - the black body of the Keyblade - surrounding the small Light - the gazing eye - all alone...
Symbolism’s here is too strong...
Ahmad Salem oooo!
Just a Human actually, missed that detail. You’re theory’s plausible too
Ok that’s a pretty good theory dude
Plus i remember him clenching his first when talking to aced. When aced ask why they need a new leader, mom clenches his fist and then says in a serious tone that he might disappear. So ether he doesn't want to leave but does so for some reason, or he has no choice that he dissappears
@@darkcloud2tru1master Or that he may have done something that forced his disappearance...
The deepest Darkness should by that logic, be Red.
why does yozora have a blue and a red eye? he is the inbetween?
This theory makes me believe there is a parallel between MoM and Sora & Darkness And Yozora. Very interesting.
@Just a Human I'm thinking Sora might just be the middle sky and another character is morning sky because Sora's name just means sky
Also, maybe not related, but the Final World, which Sora returns to after the secret episode is a midday one
I'm beginning to think M.o.M is a light corrupted Sora.
Your theory around 6:32 has me really intrigued, so I tried to split my theory up into pieces.
It's basically an extension of yours: *_What if that false light is Sora?_*
Sora changed the events of Kingdom Hearts entirely as the MoM foresaw it all from No Name.
It'd be pretty crazy if it turned out that way
False light is either sora or luxord
Could it be possible that Sora isn't supposed to be sitting on the throne that he has been for the cover art of each of the games? Maybe Yozora is supposed to instead and the MoM and Luxord trying to put Yozora back on it. Also, calling it now, Demyx is Darkness. Who else would be a better candidate after having gone unnoticed all this time?
SPOILERS FOR KHUX APRIL UPDATE
I remember when I first watched this video I spat out the water I was drinking because its perfect.
I swear before x I was telling ppl this series like ff kh has religious symbolism and they thought I was crazy lol
I'm with you on this one. There is mythological/religious symbolism scattered everywhere

@@TheLandiLodge Why thank yous very much Mr.Landi! :D X3
Also Lucifer is usually seen as the leader of the seven princes of hell because Pride is the father of all sins.

@@TheLandiLodge
Alright, thanks.
If sora is in the same world line as normal, then there are a few options IMO:
A:The Master of Masters is still in another worldline where he waits to return via the black box.

Oh boy does this add evidence to my ‘Inverse Prophecy’ theory
And I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s thinking this, but my theory is that the ‘7 Guardians of Light’ are the villains, specifically the Foretellers and their leader, while the ‘13 Seekers of Darkness’ are the heroes, to be properly set up in the next set of games
It’s all being set up SO perfectly with former Org members turning away from ‘the Darkness’, and losing Sora to ‘the Light’, the next act will build into this, bet on it
If MoM is Light, what exactly is his relationship with Kingdom Hearts, the Source of All Light?
I think the Master looks like Sora, that’s why, even though he reveals his name to Xehanort, he doesn’t reveal his appearance
His name is definitely not Sora or any name we’ve heard so far in the series because it holds no significance to Xehanort
Like someone else said, Lost Masters could be a reference to Fallen Angels.
I wish you put out 1 video per day, this is just amazing. I haven't been so excited about a theory in so long.

Being voiced by Ray Chase, I can only conclude that his name is Lucis.
Noctis Lucis Caelum = Night Light Sky ("Light of the Night Sky")
Split him conceptually in two and you get:
Yozora = Night Sky
Lucis = Light
Lucis is a delusional King of Light, while Yozora is the "True King."
"That's the Story of the King of Truth...
...RECLAIM YOUR HEART."
Going off the whole ‘blue eyes’ equals light, yellow eyes equal darkness’ thing, maybe Lea/Axel has green eyes because he’s been on both sides.
Blue + yellow = green.
Riku's are also teal,
Yeah it 100% means that
Yeah I’ve been thinking that he could be a being of light, like how there are beings of darkness.
Maybe kind of stretching it... but it's Nomura so I'll take anything at this point!
Lol it might be, but there was just too much to back it up for me not to talk about it.
And yeah, this is Nomuras wild ride at the end of the day lol, I won't be surprised if I end up right or wrong
So MoM is LIGHT? Is his weapon a Deathnote?
The newest update hints Darkness wears people like a mask. Ventus, Vanitus , and others could be Darkness around.
I have two theories that build off this theory:
This theory is crazy enough that it may be true.
The amount of crazy possibilities is one of the reasons I love this series so much lol
It's possible that I'm wrong, but this was the best hypothesis I could come up with based on the evidence we've been given
This is the most solid and based KH theory in existence. Damn good job.
Bro this comment has always stuck with me, I had no idea it was you! This is a pleasant find
Rewatching a scene from X Chi(translated by KHinsider), there's a quote from the Nightmare Chirithy I'd like to point out;
"The truth about the world isn't something you can just be taught by someone. It's something you learn for yourself."
Sound familiar?
You make a compelling case sir Landi 🤔
6:16 bro what? He literally just didnt want to bow before the humans even though god told him so and got banished, thats it lmao
Bro you blew my mind with this vid.
And sometime Lucifer is said to take the appearance of a dragon*
*Another interesting parallel I notice is that he took his own eye out to further gain knowledge, to see the future. Much like the All-Father Odin. Who also took his eye out too drink from Mimir’s well of knowledge. And now he’s capable of seeing far beyond than ever before*
Maybe the light and the darkness used to be one being but they split perfectly like weve seen be attempted with ventus and vanitas?
In Kingdom Hearts fashion, every answer leads to 3 new questions lol
@@TheLandiLodge I know its terrible lol
Interestingly Morning Star(Lucifer and Venus) is also found as the name Eosphoros (Greek for bringer of light)...
Eosphoros -> Eos (the land of ff versus 13/ff15 ?!)
*Laughs in nomura*
Itll be interesting to see where all of this goes from here, and if The Master truly is concerned with "The False Light"
I appreciate your lengthy and well thought out response, thank you for tuning in!
Hillary Slack hmmm that’s a cool idea
@@gracekim1998 thank you
The Latin for pride is Superbia, which would be the logical extension of the others.
You are so underrated
*bows head in appreciation* Thank you, may your heart be your guiding key
@@TheLandiLodge Your welcome, theory has actually got good evidence. Hope you are planning to do some other mind boggling theory soon.
Good theory, also his name could be a take on superbia but they still mute it because we can figure it out regardless so your theory is still correct
Interesting theory, I like the the parallel for Lucifers name especially considering what's underneath Daybreak Town. One thing though
-The false light they're talking about is the people.
Young Xehanort and the MoM were referring to how people use light as justification to seize power.
i like this theory . hes having a conflict with darkness . he probably found xehanort to have great potential in helping him out , so he sent xehanort off that "tour" to study darkness . basically he wanted to see if xehanort could find a way to control darkness . but xehanort ended up falling in love with darkness and thought he knew it enough to control it . so mom took xehanort's coat which protected him but he ended up getting consumed by darkness . mom pretty much been sacrificing like xehanort and luxu in order to find ways to control darkness . might be wrong but this is pretty fun to talk about
Kind of brings Xehanort's talk about the "Tyranny of Light" into a different perspective.
And as you said, Xehanort went about trying to rectify it in a flawed way.
ok you got my attention
What if the MoM said something along the line of: "My name is Pride(Superbia, the missing sin, black box super-X)."
This would explain X's visible confusion.
Hmmm 🤔 false light....I first thought it meant Eraqus but... maybe he’s on about the artificial kingdom hearts 🤷♀️
Who knows right? Only time will tell
You nailed it bro and now we've all been spoiled haha. I had thoughts of this before but the way you articulated and connected everything was spot on and great. Subbed.
Now this is a theory I like. Not a character we already know.
So my theory to take from this theory is that MoM is a figure that kingdom hearts uses almost like an avatar
Given his reaction to the name I think it could go either way but it would neat as hell if Light can communicate similarly to its opposite
so what i get from the video is that MoM name is Apollo
You could certainly make this case. Apollo was the god of many things, but most notably he was a God of PROPHECY & LIGHT.
Ventus is pure light according to the latest ux update I think ven is the master
ALSO, this would explain why Xigbar (Luxμ) shares mannerisms with the Master, because Luxμ was inevitably going to mentally grow into Lux anyways.
it's funny because that looks crazy enough to be part of Nomura's thoughts XD
I, myself, make kingdom hearts theories (even though I don't make videos of it) and I enjoyed yours!
The MoM might also have a counterpart named Darkness, because we now have White robes that provide protection from light. Or it's the other way around and the MoM's real name is Darkness but still, you get my point.
When he said his name was light I kept picturing Light yagami!
Plus in many games and tv shows animes etc.light isn’t always pictured as this good entity. And sometimes how the darkness is truely the good guys
This actually looks plausible. I will be considering this in my next playthrough.
Also: "There's more to light than meets the eye"... (The guardians of light not being the only light out there :D )
BLESS RUclips FOR RECOMMENDING THIS! 👐 I'm really picky on KH theories but I have to say this is a really sound one 😌 You earned a subscriber!
Same here :)
I am convinced MoM is a far off future yozora(yeah, Noctis Lucis Caelum). Sora now being in Quadratum will change the future bc he will save Yozora from becoming this future version of himself.
the Master of Masters is a kid at heart
I've seen Axel eye's, and it's green. Does that mean he's has light and darkness inside him or not?
Quite original theory. Thumbs up
I appreciate that, thanks for tuning in!
Lots of good evidence! At the very least, I'm pretty sure that the next saga isn't going to be as much about light vs. darkness anymore, at least not in the way we're used to. I'm gonna check out some of your other vids!
The master mentions that one day he will vanish from the world, dim... fade... it all makes sense
wow i’m a year late, but i think this is the best MoM theory i’ve heard by far!!
Literally just finished TWEWY and I've been having thoughts about this very idea..
I love how everyone in the comments have interesting ideas
I agree, this is what KH is all about. It has the ability to expand people's imaginations, one of the main reasons I love the series so much.
@@TheLandiLodge yeah🙂
I noticed another curiosity. I believe Anti-Black Coat nightmare is a construct of the Character Darkness. As battle started against it, the area Riku is battling in gets darker, so you cannot see them until you get in range. The Master of Master may have turn the lights off in a similiar manner in the newest Union X update.
I noticed that too - I find that him having the ability to control the lights on a whim...rather curious
@@TheLandiLodge Dream Eaters. Darkness and souls.
Nice one. Easily one of the most convincing theories thus far.
Thank you very much!
Give yourself some credit here, there is something to be said about the Master being connected to Pride or (Superbia)
However I have a feeling that whatever is in that box will be completely out of left field....
