    Extra notes/FAQs:
    - Soul Eater technically isn't a Keyblade. -
    It is a prerequisite for Way to Dawn, but it was actually a weapon bestowed upon him by the darkness of Ansem. Nomura has confirmed this. However, even though it may not be one strictly speaking, it stills paves the way for one and it doesn't deter from my main point.
    - Young Xehanort's Keyblade is actually No Name with a unique Keychain, not actually his own Keyblade. -
    Apparently, according to Nomura, YX doesn't actually have a Keyblade in DDD. This is because (get this...) he time traveled from his childhood days at Destiny Islands and only briefly gets a Keyblade when he fights Riku, because MX's essence takes over YX. Is this made clear at all in the game? Does it completely ignore the fact that Xehanort is retconned to look so much younger in Dark Road and the chess scenes of KH3? Why can he wield his Keyblade so freely in KH3 if he is blatantly the same age in DDD? Don't ask me these questions, ask Nomura. All a bunch of bogus if you ask me. I honestly think it was a retcon, and a terribly sly one at that. I think Dark Road will retcon the details even further to keep in line with the age difference.
    - Gazing Eyes can be seen on Data Young Xehanort's hitsparks in KH3. -
    I mentioned that the Gazing Eyes are only seen on Keyblades/Keychains. While still technically true, the Gazing Eyes seen in Xehanort's hitsparks are a result of the Keyblade of course. My point still stands when regarding their relationship with Keyblades and darkness.

    Each and every Gazing Eye that isn't on No Name or the other foreteller keyblades is derived from No Name.
    Vanitias was extracted and given form by Xehanort, using No Name, thus his keyblade has Gazing Eyes.
    Terra was influenced and corrupted by Xehanort, the wielder of No Name, thus Terra acquires a keychain which gives his keyblade a form with a Gazing Eye.
    Riku was subtly manipulated by Ansem, Xehanort's heartless, from the beginning of KH1, thus he manifests Soul Eater, a non keyblade weapon with a Gazing Eye, which is later used as the base for Way to the Dawn, which retains the eye. The double bladed Soul Eater that Ansem later used is derived from himself, so it too has Gazing Eyes. Replica Riku of course has a copy of Soul Eater.
    Even with End of Pain, the entirety of DDD was a setup by Xehanort to turn Sora into a vessel, so of course Sora would gain a keychain granting a form with a Gazing Eye the same way Terra did, and Riku also gains this keychain by virtue of being within Sora's dreams.
    And as for Young Xehanort's keyblade, it's basically confirmed that he is literally just wielding Master Xehanort's keyblade, his older self possessed him and lent him the keyblade for his fight against Riku in DDD, and in KH3 you never actually see Young Xehanort and Master Xehanort wielding a keybalde at the same time, so Young Xehanort is just borrowing No Name there as well. The reason why is looks different is because it has a keychain attached to it, one created from Young Xehanort's memories of time travelling, just like how other keychains are derived from and empower keyblades through the memories they represent.

    • @SonnyNovus
      @SonnyNovus  3 года назад +20

      The connections pointing all the way back to No Name are definitely undeniable for sure, which is why I mention the exact point later and when I say "No Name -- seemingly the catalyst for all of this" in the mid section. All Keyblades/Keychains harken back to influence from MoM/Luxu. End of Pain even has an alternate recreation of the ram in the middle, too.
      However, are there any sources confirming that Xehanort's older self possessed YX? I don't see why he'd feel the need to possess himself since YX is definitely his younger self, separate from Master Xehanort. His Heartless went back in time to set him on the path, but I can't recall a time where it was stated he was outright possessed. Also, let's just assume he WAS possessed; why would his Keyblade change if it were to hypothetically be Master Xehanort? When MX possessed Terra, Terra-Xehanort still gets the original No Name and not some sort of hybrid, so why specifically YX in this case? It's also clear that YX loses his memories completely of time travelling when he returns back to his own time, they're merely "etched in his heart", which is one of the prerequisites for his version of time travel.

    • @eleeelee3184
      @eleeelee3184 3 года назад +18

      @@SonnyNovus I believe it looks different because YX has no keyblade and it has a different keychain, but Terranort is just MX combined with Terra's body. So he isn't lending his keyblade to Terranort, Terranort is just using the keyblade that's partially his, because he's partially MX.
      And the possession thing was confirmed by Nomura back when DDD first came out in Japan. This is the section where he states it:
      When King Mickey stopped time, Young Xehanort began to move. Since he can control time, was he breaking the King’s spell?
      Nomura: Young Xehanort wasn’t using his own power at that time. The King’s magic was broken because Master Xehanort was assimilating with Young Xehanort. Only “the mark of heresy” was added by Organization XIII.
      - It was when the figures started appearing in the thrones.
      Nomura: Indeed. Time was stopped just as Master Xehanort was materializing. So he moved his consciousness to Young Xehanort’s body. Reacting to this, King Mickey exclaimed, “That’s impossible!” Young Xehanort was holding a Keyblade that he originally wasn’t able to handle thanks to Master Xehanort’s power. Though the keychain on it is different, the Keyblade he takes out is Master Xehanort’s.
      - I see. Young Xehanort himself is still in Destiny Islands and isn’t able to wield a Keyblade yet.
      Nomura: Right. Even when he appeared as an additional boss in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, he wasn’t using a Keyblade.

    • @SonnyNovus
      @SonnyNovus  3 года назад +13

      @@eleeelee3184 Interesting... It's a shame that this kind of stuff isn't at all clear when you play the games. But tbh, Nomura's interviews are notoriously open to retconning. He's gone on record saying that Ven's heart was inside Roxas, which was never true. Even if Young Xehanort took MX's No Name with a different Keychain, the end of that interview isn't correct as it suggests that YX in DDD time traveled directly as a child from Destiny Islands which isn't true. By the time he started time traveling, he was a of course a Keyblade apprentice at Scala for a couple years at least. YX losing his Keyblade as Mysterious Figure will be something they have to retcon and explain in Dark Road, and I can't help but feel it'll be another "Mickey losing his shirt" fiasco lol

    • @Cri_Jackal

      @@SonnyNovus Young Xehanort literally states at the end of KH3 that he will go back to the islands after he dissapears, he is brought forward from before he even left the islands, he doesn't have a keyblade in BBS becaue that's before DDD.
      Being iffy in regards to information from interviews is one thing, but why are you arguing against directly stated in game fact?

    • @SonnyNovus
      @SonnyNovus  3 года назад +9

      @@Cri_Jackal He never stated he'd go back to the Islands specifically, he said he would go back to his time and live out his life. You can't just disregard that the YX we see in both DDD and KH3 is undeniably older than he was in the flashbacks of his chess games with Eraqus in Scala, by which point he had long left Destiny Islands. YX clearly has knowledge and abilities that Child Xehanort (pre-Dark Road) wouldn't have. If he were directly plucked from his childhood days at Destiny Islands, before he even went to Scala, he'd not only be notably younger but also more naive. I'm also not going to buy that MX simply taught him everything after he was brought forward, because it still doesn't make up for the blatant age difference.
      The only way what you're saying would be plausible is if he would go back to the islands after Dark Road. Even in Re:Mind, we see the more mature version of Young Xehanort (during/post-Dark Road). It just doesn't make sense. It makes far more sense if if he time traveled after/during Dark Road. Or perhaps they just decided to age him down in KH3/Dark Road after the fact for no reason, just to screw with us.

    In the master's quote about writing down only what the eye in luxu's keyblade saw doesn't neccessarily negate the possibility of multiple eyes, especially since he specifically references it as luxu's rather than just refering to it as the gazing eye or his gazing eye. The need to elaborate a specific keyblade leaves the possibility for multiple keyblades to bear the eye open. Additionally, we know he is intentionally hidong info from darkness so we no he would'nt mention other gazing eyes that will exist. Though, like always an excellent video.

    Something I've been wondering lately, are Keyblades sentient? I've been unwinding with KH1 lately, and the way Sora is told that the Keyblade *chose* him really sticks out. It's possible that it doesn't mean anything, but still.
    Also, I kind of think the creepy invisible guy hiding in the Traverse Town hotel is the MoM.

    • @SonnyNovus
      @SonnyNovus  3 года назад +8

      Yeah, it seems that different Keyblades have an affinity for certain traits in people. The Kingdom Key hopped from Riku to Sora because Riku was deemed "unworthy" due to his acceptance of the darkness, but later he takes it back through sheer force of will, then it hops back to Sora because of his newfound resolve. Vanitas is clearly a being of darkness, yet he wields a Keyblade no problem, so I don't think alignment has much to do with it.
      Perhaps there's more to the Kingdom Key specifically that we don't know about...

      @@SonnyNovus I've certainly had some questions about Kingdom Key. Specifically, why does it resemble the ones on the X-blade? Is it among the first to have been made? Or is Kingdom Key a sort of placeholder form for if a Keyblade is somehow prevented from reflecting it's wielder, such as through the odd circumstance in which Sora obtained it? Or maybe it's due to having been obtained on Destiny Islands in particular? And why is Kingdom Key the only known Keyblade to have a counterpart in the Realm of Darkness?

    • @Vanity0666

    • @chasemcfarland2851
      @chasemcfarland2851 9 месяцев назад

      @themustachioedfish5988 being a placeholder is the most likely reason imo. Normally, wielders get their keyblades directly from their masters. Riku got his from Terra, Kairi gets it from Aqua, Micky got his from Yen Sid. Sora is the only known person to steal a keyblade. Though I've seen alot if speculation that Sora may have accidentally recieved No Name from Xehanort, that's too late in the series to be relevant.
      I kind of think the kingdom key is just the "default" light keyblade and Soras surprise wielding of it was caused by not being aligned to any other

    Really good theory. I always did, on the back of my mind, wonder why certain other keyblades also had the gazing eye. Specifically End of Pain, since it's one of my favorite keyblades next to the Ultimas. The eye being on the Foreteller's keychains rather than their keyblades may be indicative that, despite their role as fated to them by their Master, they have yet to tie themselves to darkness as close as or how their connection is different from comparison to the other characters.
    Also, personally I don't see MoM's symbol as ironic, mostly symbolic to how despite his intent to destroy the rather destructive darknesses, he knows that he's not exactly innocent and filled with light especially with what he's puppeteering and raising his students to become. Plus, he's even taking advantage of darkness's own traits to destroy them, so he's more or less admitting to his understanding of it beyond just his plan.

    So my thoughts on this is first and foremost, it's visually beautiful, you've done a very great job on that front
    Second, I think you're the only person I've seen suggest that the eyes belong to darkness themselves, and that makes sense. It'd also imply to me that he already has one of the willful darknesses within him, and that'd be how he was able to jot down what was being seen. (Assuming this is right)
    And it is very interesting that MoM's symbol is balance, more than light related. Might tie into the whole "Fallen Angel" Lucifer theme. ;)
    Great video!

  • @dakvalor

    Great theory! I've couple of things to add and consider along with this theory.
    First of all the Gazing eye only appears with people related to Xehanort, time and darkness. The Gazing eye could be Mom's way of tracking and observing how Darknesses act and thus leading to possible ways of trapping it to the Foretellers.
    And why Vanitas' keyblade has the Eyes and is has shape of a gear? Daybreak town Castle has a gear with seemingly clock like machine. Gears also just happens to been seen inside similiar worlds to Daybreak town like Twilight Town and Radiant Garden which both have gears in the middle. But why not Scala ad Caelum it instead has complicated looking clock.
    Never put this much time for comment so I hope it makes sense 😅

    this reminded me of something else that has nagged at me for ages: keychains for old/ancient keyblades. Why do keybchains bequeath forms that different objects have bequeathed in the past? Sure the Disney World themed keyblades just make sense, but the OC square keyblades? Less so. Metal Chocobo required Sora to have met Cloud, but Oblivion? Sora had yet to make a connection to the inspiration for that Keyblade. Was the Keychain a Vessel for the Keyblade, or did it just summon an already existing Keyblade? We just fundamentally don't know how Keyblade formchanging and formcrafting work, sure we know forging one's heart and tempering the blade itself can both enhance or evolve a Keyblade... but why and how?

    • @SonnyNovus
      @SonnyNovus  3 года назад +1

      You have a good point. I recall Nomura saying that Obvlivion was originally intended to have a connection to Riku, as the Keychain is just a black crown to parallel the Kingdom Key, which is why we might get it after we defeat Dark Riku in Hollow Bastion. But I'm not even sure if that's the case anymore seeing as how synonymous Oblivion/Oathkeeper are to Roxas now.
      Keychains represented by Disney worlds are pretty straightforward, but original Keychains are usually gained after a big story advancement. Terra gets his iconic Ends of the Earth immediately after the cutscene were he performs the inheritance ceremony on Riku.
      YX's Keyblade actually IS No Name, but with a different Keychain. Although this isn't made clear, it is confirmed by Nomura in an interview. Question is, where did this Keychain come from?

    • @sh4d0wfl4re

      @@SonnyNovus Oblivion is also pretty straightforward after Dark Riku gets it from Ansem SoD. Sora obtains the keychain and enherits the keyblade, then when he becomes a heartless it gets passed on to his keyblade wielding nobody. Roxas being familiar with darkness took to Oblivion and losing Xion made it firmly his.
      Though I did forget that Oblivion didn't actually show up before Rika and Sora obtained it, whoopsie. It looks like only the Starlight, darkgnaw and Ultima Keyblades were actually passed on without explanation. And two of those have potential time travel explanations for how they were passed on

Both of them have imagery and storylines tying them to both darkness and light, creating a balance. Sora might have brushes with the darkness, but he's never been intended as a character who represents the balance of the two.

    The master of master's always left me wondering about his goal. If he wanted to truly destroy darkness, why does his apprentice luxu become a nobody and always drag others into a dark path. Heck I don't even know if he's a good guy or evil, but it's like he's making something. It might sound strange, but is it possible he's trying to find "perfect keyblade wielders" to.fight against darkness.

    • @SonnyNovus
      @SonnyNovus  3 года назад +1

      Yeah, it's really seeming like he's more of an "ends justify the means" type of guy. Like he wants to finish the ancient war between light and darkness for good, but it will take a lot of time and sacrifice to get there, making us question if all the sacrifice is indeed worth it.
      But to me, something doesn't add up. Being as "ancient" as MoM makes himself out to be, he should know more than anyone that both light and darkness in tandem with each other establishes the foundation of life. Any imbalance will create chaos. In order to destroy darkness, you're destroying half of what makes up life itself. There's darkness within everyone, after all (aside from the very rare hearts of pure light).
      It seems to me that his altruistic motive of "completely destroying the darkness" is a very half-baked, one-dimensional and possibly dishonest goal. His cutscene with YX shows the duality between order (YX) and chaos (MoM). YX wants to rule with an iron fist of darkness: "It's better they be ruled be darkness." whereas MoM is indifferent: "Why not just sit back and watch it play out?"
      It was a small debate of ideals, but MoM of course comes out on top due to his extensive knowledge and experience. It'll be interesting to see if this is expanded upon in Dark Road.
      I agree with your point about Luxu. He's supposedly the traitor, yet MoM still knows this and trusts him to fulfill his role. He wouldn't have assigned Luxu this huge role if he knew he wouldn't succeed. So does Luxu being the traitor mean that he defied the light and sided with darkness? It's hard to tell.

      @@SonnyNovus To use an example for MoM personality, it's more aligned with hawks from my hero. Hawks wants a world where hero's has too much free time on their hands, maybe the MoM wants a world where keybladers can just explore and finally have peace without any darkness to worry about. He is a intellectual after all, so its not out of the possibility to wish for that.
      And the old "ends justify the means" sadly that is true even when we don't like it. The MoM believes that while yes the life's lost is tragic, their paving the way to a better future. He could be an anti-hero, and is trying to accomplish a goal of living in a peaceful world, a world of fiction.

    Dude, this is a great theory and just made me realize several things.
    I literally never even fully noticed the Gazing Eye appearing in almost every title until watching this video.
    Crazy to think Nomura had those details in mind even when writing KH1.
    Also... You mentioned that the eye could either be the Master's actual eye, or one that he took.
    That sparked a MAJOR epiphany in my head, and a theory that could be debunked, but hear me out...
    Xigbar/Braig/Luxu wears an eyepatch... What if "Luxu" is actually the Master who took Luxu's identity? Possibly because Luxu is considered "The Traitor" ?
    What if the reason "Luxu" wears an eyepatch is because, his actual eye is The Gazing Eye and he is actually, The Master of Masters? That would be WILD.
    It's a stretch to think about, but any "minor" detail can't go overlooked in Kingdom Hearts. Plus, identity theft has happened several times in the KH series.

    Yeah this brings some good points, which is something i did keep on my mind, how he never put those eyes there, yet they are the same as the MoM, a lot of people have been confuse by this but then decided to ignore it... Yet that's how Nomura has gotten the mind of the fan base blown, by ignoring purposely done stuff.
    Now this is the thing that, doesn't fit with the idea of the eye being something from the darkness purely, why can't "Darkness" use it too, and ask what he has seen with his eye to the MoM... To me this is the definitive proof that, it's something that he created... But not just put on his keyblade, but he found a way to put it on the darkness in general, so that when weapons(Because Soul Eater is a sword of darkness not a keyblade) and keyblades which have ties with darkness are created the eye also appears. The question is more of why "Darkness" hasn't done anything about this, or tried to obtain it... I have a possible answer base on what we know about Darkness, but because we know so little, it's more of a fan theory then something solid. Hopefully in a not so distant future(It will be a distant future), we will get answers.

    I've been thinking maybe the gazing eye was made from the MOMs soul, the eye is the gateway to the soul after all.
    When I look at the emblem whilst I see balance, that doesn't nessecarily make sense to me given the moms clear mission to get rid of darkness. Could the emblem signify an internal conflict? Two opposing sides clashing?
    I'm reaching entirely here but could the master be a nobody? Unless it happened in the mobile game cutscenes, I don't remember him actually wielding a keyblade himself directly when passing no name to Luxu, which would align with most others we see throughout the series.
    We know the original war happened when he was a young boy or the start of his existence basically, where light and darkness didn't nessecarily take human form. So could the 13 darkness, or at least one of them be the heart/heartless of the original form of the master himself?
    They clearly seem to know each other referring as old friends, yet they can't seem to understand each other at all which might make sense if They're literally the opposing sides and essence of one complete being.
    The Master just continues to bewilder me the more we discover about him. Anyway amazing video mate, keep up the good work!

    I think you misinterpreted the conversation at 2:05. He simply says that the book only contains information obtained from the eye that is with Luxu. That entirely leaves open the possibility that there are other eyes, but that the information obtained from them was not included in the book (i.e. the book is possibly just a small part of the MoM's temporal knowledge - the rest is his secret).

    • @SonnyNovus
      @SonnyNovus  3 года назад +1

      The only issue with this is that No Name was passed onto Luxu from MoM directly, so we know he is responsible for that eye at least. But with the other Keyblades? I don't think so. "Way to Dawn" for example is specifically Riku's, but that was shaped from Soul Eater and Ansem's staff, further supporting that the eyes have a lot more to do with darkness than MoM himself. (I personally believe that Ansem is an ancient form of darkness just like Vanitas, which would explain why Dark Riku and Vanitas both look so similar and have Keyblades with Gazing Eyes. Not saying it is confirmed, but it's a belief I've held for a while and may do a video on in the future)
      Vanitas, being an ancient form of darkness, has Void Gear. Terra has Chaos Ripper. It could be possible that MoM sees through these eyes and just didn't write his sightings into the BoP, but we don't even know concretely if he's responsible for any other eye or not because these Keyblades have no direct correlation to him. But they all have a connection to darkness though, right?

  • @ggdynfytugfy6892
    @ggdynfytugfy6892 3 года назад +1

    • @SonnyNovus
      @SonnyNovus  3 года назад

      It could be possible. When MoM talks to Darkness, he could be spouting a bunch of half-truths or flat out lies. But it's the fact that No Name came from directly from MoM (as for as we know), so we can only assume that specific eye did too. But MoM isn't responsible for Way to Dawn, Chaos Ripper, End of Pain etc. If he is, then the reason would probably be super complicated. But yeah, perhaps the book only specifically covers what No Name sees, yet he could be watching from all of them. Still strange how every single one is with darkness, though

    something interesting is he lets it be known that he wants to eradicate darkness. make you think if that is a trick to make darkness beings come after him and the light so he can see them and hunt them down while doing something else. after all he "cleaned" the light in union cross of the massive ammount of light that could have been "tainted" so who is to say he is not trying to do the same for the darkness but in a diffrent way.
    What could this lead to? maby his end goal is to have both sides go back to being in one corner or perhaps the opposite. Sora does have rage form which could be argued to him having learned to handel his darkness so maby in KH 4 we might see some sort of way sora keeps up on his progression into using darkness without loosing himself

    The Eye being Darkness’s eye is interesting, but there is one issue. From KH2 forward, eye color has been an indicator of a person’s alignment. Blue is light, Yellow is darkness, and Green is someone who uses both. Shouldn’t the Eye be yellow if it is from Darkness?

    • @SonnyNovus
      @SonnyNovus  3 года назад

      I don't think they're literal eyeballs ripped out of a person's head. I think it's safe to assume that MoM didn't pull out his literal eyeball, so I'd assume the same for Darkness.
      A human being overtaken by darkness is different from the mystery of the ancient sentient "Darknesses", and we know nothing about them. I make the point that we only see them on Keyblade/Keychains, so I think it's clear that they are magical artifacts that have been created for a purpose. People taken over by darkness can still have yellow eyes while wielding a Gazing Eye.

    I could be wrong about this, but the way I interpreted the gazing eyes was that It wasn't just one singular thing, but rather multiple, kinda like how the Ram is shown on Xhehanorts Keyblades or how Sora has been associated with Royalty with some of the Ultima Weapons, the Crown, and him sitting on a throne multiple times. In case of the Gazing Eye, I feel as though it represents Darkness itself, making some sort of " Dark" keyblade if that makes sense (think like how the Sith are able to make their Lightsabers red, its like that idea). some Keyblades, such as Kingdom Key D or Oblivion are made from Darkness and are able to access the Realm of Darkness, which is how Riku and Mickey were able to access it but Sora wasn't, but their not considered "Dark" keyblades like No Name or Void Gear.
    as to why the M.O.M 's keyblade has the gazing eye, I feel like it might be something you mentioned, he might have been the original creator and actually made the Gazing eye using Darkness. we know its possible to make things out of stuff like Data, Dreams, and even Nothingness. the M.O.M even showed that he was able to make Chirithy and the digital Daybreak Town, so I wouldn't be surprised that he could form the Gazing eyes from Darkness
    another thing to back it up would be the fact that some keyblades have been shown to have special properties depending on which one it is. the most obvious example being the Keyblade of Darkness which can steal hearts. but, there's also examples like the X-Blade, No Name, the Ultima Weapons, and a few others that are a bit debatable, such as the keyblade transformations, Master Defender, YX's Keyblade, etc. it would make sense for some to be able to have certain differences depending on how its made.

    I watched something yesterday theorizing that M.o.M. (lol) is Light itself. And part of me thinks that could be it because (and this is all just for fun, speculation, please take it with a giant grain of salt) if a being is made completely out of light, the robe may be to contain their light completely, and if no light is being emitted or bouncing off of them/the robe, your eyes wont pick it up, you won’t see color, light needs a medium to bounce off of for us to see it, and the robe as the medium, just absorbs all the light. Potentially making them more powerful in the process.

    Plz cover my theory of "Riku becomes Yozora"
    Down below...
    out of all the past versions of riku to use for the true organization 13 why use riku replica?? Especially After such a large period of time has past since C.O.M and not only use him for the true 13 but to use him to effect normal riku's arc in KH3
    And in the keyblade graveyard battles we see the riku replica fade away with his pass self, however. Besides Xion no other replica has grown its own heart as in terms of becoming its own being. And yet in every heart theirs light and darkness and we see that both dark and light riku replicas "fade" together.
    My theory is that the riku replicas merged and faded into a new heart....... Yozora
    In the ending of union cross we see the player character fade into Young xhanort.
    So technically every keyblade wielder has to potential to fade into a new heart when they die.
    And what do we see riku replica wield in kh3???? "They Way to dawn".
    A keyblade wielder not fading into light but into a new heart
    Riku replica faded into yozora's heart
    Replicas are "fake" or fictional person/people soo when riku replica was reborn into yozora when went to fictional world. Verum Rex.
    And Nomura never explained what happeneds to replicas that become there own person once they fade into light or darkness. Xion only faded into Sora because she was defeated by Roxas and was only composed of memory's and not a half a heart like Roxas.
    In KH lore we are told time flows differently between the realms of light, darkness, between, data, and sleep.
    So the realm of un-reality could in theory flow alot faster then our does.
    Explaining how Yozora can be in this time while his "past self" already exist. As explained by luxu / Xigbar in KHDDD of the rules of time travel.
    In Toybox we see something very peculiar,
    we get glimpses of verum rex's world as a video game.
    This isnt by chance,
    Why does young xhanort seem to be able to control the verum rex video game when he sends Sora into it??? Cuz its not just a video game about the world of verum rex. Its a "book a prophecies"
    a book of prophecy has The power to foretell future events of other worlds but not in its entirety but glimpses.
    And we see what can be only be describe as verum rex falling into "darkness" in the trailer in the beginning Toy Box.
    And Just like the player characters does in union cross. Sora travels temporarily into the world to defeat heartless Gigas.
    I believe that the master of masters has told Yozora this and explained his past existence to him and thats how he's heard of Sora and was told to "save him".
    So that Sora can be one of the 7 crowns. And had to stop Sora from loosing her keyblade from abusing the power of waking.

    • @Orion_TheyThem
      @Orion_TheyThem 3 года назад +1

      Except we see Younger Riku destroy Repliku in Re:Mind. Thus leaving an empty vessel. He's gone and destroyed.
      And Re:Mind also explains why they chose Repliku and Xion. To see if Vexen could get the Replicas right this time (which he did and is why Roxas and Naminé could come back). Recreating Repliku and Xion were ways to test that these new replicas were more stable.
      All of this is EXPLICITLY stated in the endgame of III And Re:Mind.
      Yozora is Not Riku. We see that Yozora has his own "world" and established universe......with different companions and a love interest. Also, their body types and faces are totally different and even the outfits are noticeably different. Similar style? Sure. But I think that's going to be explained later as the Nameless Star said "a..... Somebody" changed his appearance.
      Edit: and Young Xehanort being able to control Verum Rex is the same way he can control toys...... because they're taken over by darkness. No bigger meaning here. We know that darkness can take over worlds, even fictional ones, as seen in KHUx with Sugar Rush. They don't Have to be some real life equivalent.

    Interesting theory, I did have thoughts that came to mind while watching it. We can't really say whether or not MoM can actually see through those gazing eyes other then the one on the original No Name keyblade. But to make sense as to why the eye is seen on those who align with or are dealing with darkness would be because he wants to keep a close eye on the actions of darkness. He basically suggested that he wants to defeat darkness in the Union X finale. The symbol on the book of prophecies could just show the two sides of the fight in the book. From what we are shown in Union X, MoM has taken some pretty dark measures to ensure darkness is defeated, some while he could be on the side of light he could be just and anti-hero. Fight for light but not in the tradition heroic way, in a way that hero's would frown upon. Hopefully you understand what I am getting at.

    So I was relistening to the video and realized that there technically is one more instance of the Gazing Eye, though I don’t know if it’s intentional or just a glitch.
    When you fight Data YX in ReMind, if you go into Selfie mode while YX does a time attack, Sora’s eyes look incredibly similar to the Gazing Eye.
    I don’t think this is a “OMG Sora is MoM confirmed”, it’s just an interesting detail. If anything, it just means that if it is the Master’s actual eye, the Master has similar eyes to Sora and he used time magic to make it work.

    Now the thing is, are those eyes look more like a Cat or a Reptile?

      Yeah, they certainly do look like that! It's totally clear they're not human eyes, that's for sure

    another thing to note is that weve seen 13 keyblades/weapons with the gazing eye

    How do you know all of the rest of the eyes wasn't just Xehanort trying to imitate MoM

    Hello. I have some much needed information.. Yozora saved Sora by doing putting him in crystal stasis. Basically, in crystal stasis in the afterlife/dreamworld, the soul can live on to the next life. Kh 4 will be about a completely new Sora for real. The Sora that ends up defeating yozora in the afterlife/dreamscape would’ve been all alone with no one else there..
    Also another thing, The master of masters IS yozora, but only when the master is dreaming, or the Master BECAME Yozora!.. he doesn’t wake up with his desires (aka being yozora/vs13 noctis) until he does a good deed for Sora, and he did that by getting Sora out of the afterlife and into a new life..

    Awesome theory. I dont think things people have pointed out actually disprove what you are saying at all.
    I will say though, that perhaps the eyes appearance in keyblades of darkness isn’t because of the master at all. As we know, Luxu let Xehanort use the keyblade. When it was Xehanorts, he formed connection with all the people that wield these keyblades. He implanted darkness in them.
    So its only a coincidence. We see the eye with darkness because of Xehanorts influence, not Luxu or Moms. The eye doesn’t bring darkness, or isn’t connected to it. Xehanort is and his keyblade was his tool during it. Interesting perspective to think about
