Hey I started today for the first time at my local McDonald's and thanks to your videos I got praised by my co-workers bc I was doing everything as if I already had done it before. I studied the way that you worked and it paid off 🙌. Thank you so much!
@@infringinator I agree, no matter how efficient and fast you are, you're still barely keeping up and almost falling behind. Fuck this shit. No one should work with that amount of stress constantly.
@@KoryGraphic honestly I’ve been working for about a month now and when you manage to daydream while being active like me, it feels like my shift is over before I even started😅
I have to say that was great teamwork showing your wife something new that she hasn’t done before and the communication between use was fantastic 10/10 😊
Me and my wife owned a pizza franchise about 15 years ago for 10 plus years. I had to train her for a few weeks as a requirement per the FA. It was the only time I ever felt smarter than her. LOLOLOL
I think this has to be my favorite of your videos. You two while not trying to be funny still had me laughing. Very cute to see your patience with her as she is trying. Need more videos like this haha loved it. Can’t wait to see her trained on cooking breakfast!
watching you work with your wife is the cutest things. You're absolutely killing it and being super speedy and she's trying her best to keep up. Shes so adorable wanting to help out wherever she can, now THATS an amazing wife for you. Someone who tries their best and wants to help you out as much as possible. I think she's a great addiction to your restaurant. Hope to see more amazing videos of you and your wife working together and continuing to be an amazing team. AWESOME video. Damn I'm hungry now and I'm typing this up at 12:19am on a Saturday morning here in Connecticut on the east coast. lol
This was my favorite one yet! I remember my first days at taco bell, and having a good trainer who doesn't hate you at the end of the day is awesome! :)
I'd love your videos! I've been watching them a lot, especially to pass time or just to get ready, I also love your long videos!!! Please make more longer ones if you can!!
I’ve been at McDonald’s for about 1 year and a half and I started watching you a few months ago and I studied ur work in till I mastered it and now I’ve proved myself to everyone there, thank u so much Stephen
Even though I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to apply for a job at restaurants such as mcdonalds (literally any other restaurant is better), I've worked there myself and other restaurants for over 10 years and gotta respect this guy. 12:49 from this point on, he enters the "zone". If you've ever worked in fast-paced or hectic service jobs, you know this feeling. It feels like you got 8 arms and your brain works 10 thoughts at once. I noticed this instantly, haha. Obviously it ain't healthy, but it's really cool.
I would be so like your wife ( lol).. "what the hell am I doing?!" because your so fast and efficient... I LOVE THE VIDEOS of this though! Thank you for taking us behind the scenes sometimes of just how talented you are EVEN when trying to train... Awesome!
After watching this video, liking, subscribing, commenting, sharing and ringing the notification bell....oh and 5 advertisements...I forgot what I was going to say oops.
It would be great to have a video folder with shorts for each sandwich or menu item, from the time you click the button to print the ticket, to picking which bread, which toppings and where they’re located on the station and how to prep and wrap (with commentary). I’m sure MD corporate has training cards and stuff, but I think anyone who watches would love to learn!
I can't believe I'm watching vids of mc d being made. I don't even eat there. But every job has it's skills and this guy is a master. So many things to keep track of and training at the same time. His attitude will take him a long way no matter where he turns his attention. He could be a brain surgeon.
I don't know what it is about watching you make sandwiches, but it's the most satisfying thing ever, and the fact that we get to see the behind the scenes of it is cool.
Way to go Courtney and Stephen, during that rush and training you guys both killed it on table! It was awesome seeing you guys do table together. Awesome laughs. Keep up the awesome job Courtney! 👏
I learned from this channel before starting. Getting to know what you're getting into, and how to operate stations. Thank you so much for uploading and much respect
I love these vids. You are like a machine making the sandwiches. Now I think about the person making my food when I pull up to the drive thur and are soo much more grateful when things come out right. It's just ashame that my local mcds always seems to mess it up. Keep up the great work !!
I have some fond memories when I was being trained and worked at a McDonald's in NW Chicago, back in the 1980s. Lots of good times. Your wife will be a pro in no time. You are an excellent and patient trainer! Oh, and bring back the Cheddar Melts!
I was literally thinking about the Cheddar melts the other day. What a great burger. I was born in Chicago and grew up there as well. I’m in California now but I remember the McJordan Special with the BBQ sauce. The McDLT and McRib were my fav as an older kid. Like early teens. I remember the bratwurst hot dog, deep fried apple pies. I love 80s Mcds
@@markschommer7407 I cannot walk into YOUR Canadian McDonald's to order a burger without knowing French first!!!! Da hell's wrong witchu people up there? Imma gonna slappa da snot outta yo face wit da wet spahetti. Mama Mia
Very speedy. I'm a Canadian who worked at McD for a long time and I moved to the UK. When I go to McD here (or literally any fast food restaurant), there is zero hustle and it takes forever... I miss this speed!
I have been working grill ever since I started with McDonalds, so seeing her try and learn it was a refresher of how I must have looked. It was interesting to see how other Franchises do thigs differently as well, as we usually tend to have different layouts that effect the way we work.
I wish the moaning customers would see how hard you all work in the fast food industry. I know I couldn’t work this quick. Great work to you all 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
It’s a hustle for sure. Many, many years ago my first job was at Burger King (wished it was McDonalds my favorite). My second day on the job a football team came in after a game and ordered like 100 whoppers. Let’s just say I got real good at whoppers real fast. 👏
Just started at our local McDonald’s here in California. I see all the up to date machine you have IE toaster. Im working with sub par mid 2000s equipment. We just got new owners and she’s very interested new equipment. 🎉🎉🎉 I can’t wait to actually drop buns in stead of sliding them. You get better time to make the sandwich
WOW Your Brave!! I once tried to teach my wife to drive and She Went Mental! She's now a Class One Police Pursuit Driver Teaching ME and She wont let me Forget!🇬🇧😢
First time watching your videos and i will say they are very good in my opinion. Good video quality . great audio (basically asmr) . don't work at McDonalds but I will say this will 100% help so many people working there. Only if there was a donate button :C . I could watch like most of you videos in one sitting sooooo good keep the videos comin
Tell your wife she is doing really good! I was just as confused as her when I first started working at Mcdonalds! Till this day I still have to look at the pictures of the burgers to remember what sauces and other ingredients go on it cause i forget lol and i'm still very slow at making the burgers compared to my workmates they go way faster than me when making burgers im just like "how do you go so fast"
Hey don’t worry, when I first started, it took me a minute to even make a cheeseburger but now I can make any burgers in 20 seconds when it’s out of the toaster. It takes time for the ingredients in a burger to be graved into your head. 😔😕
Fascinated watching you work lol! I don't know why but my local stopped steaming the fish buns, they are dry and stale feeling :( used to get it every time.
You have to be very careful how you talk to your wife. I trained my wife at our business and I learned quickly that a happy wife is a happy life. She can get offended if she feels you are talking down to her. Good luck.
that's the norm. One of the guys who trained me threw the ENTIRE menu at me while I was trying to get a burger construction right. Potato buns and crincle cut pickles for crispy only, ugh.
Hey ! I was in Montreal🇨🇦 this week! You guys need to try the 🇨🇦McDonald’s poutine ! Not the best poutine out there but it was not bad for a chain restaurant Cheers from San Diego California
