Holy cow!! How many times has a gawdy piece like that made into the landfill because it's just so stinking outdated? And then look what you did to it!! It's incredible!! You have an amazing eye!
Outdated is EXTREMELY IN NOW. one of the reasons is because a dresser from the last 20 years is not solid wood and is in the landfill because the drawers broke. Mid century modern is what everyone is denanding especially vinetage and not copies of vinetage like most designers are doing. I would kill for this peice even before she did her magic
It actually saddeneds me when I see pieces going to the landfill, ive redone over a 100 pieces and would love to save all of them from this fate!!!!

Really admire that you managed to make over a poor old monster into something so sleek and desirable. You've given this dresser gravitas! I love all your choices here, the black metal hardware on matte black, the contrast between pale washed wood and darkly painted drawers. Of all the very cool furniture artists who participated in the $100 Challenge, your aesthetic is definitely closest to mine. Better still, the skills and care you put into your work are second to none.

Angie, you may be new to RUclips but you are quite knowledgeable about the entire furniture restoring & flipping process - as if you have been doing it for years. You also have much more inventory & completed projects than just a beginner. You say you don't have of some of the extra tools that furniture flippers typically have, but obviously it hasn't slowed down your ability to be a creative genius : D Yippee for us viewers at home who get to see magic happen when you pick up a disaster piece and (with your limited resources but unlimited creativity) transform it into an unrecognizable stunner!
