About to buy my truck .LETS GET PAID PEOPLE 🍾🍾🥃
lol hold on brother!! didn't you just see the reates?
Nice video vic...Next time can you walk through booking a load? That would be really helpful.
Can you do a video showing Nashville TN area right now? Great videos man 🤝
Videos wanted to see, suggestions/requested: Wanna see the Vic in action negotiating to add to the bag. Loads where they want to talk to you, loads that are at 0.70 cents per mile listed... See how it's done to emulate
definitely. it's really kinda relaxing watching someone go through the board. If you've ever done uber, you have to fail to know "oh that's not worth it" because there's nobody out there really showing you what's worth it and what's not, how to handle it etc
I tell everyone doing Uber and Doordash to know your worth. I look at everything as $1 a mile. This also causes a low acceptance rate, but it is what it is. I can't move for just anything. $3 for 8 miles is a no go for me.
Awesome My Brother!!!💪💪💪
Big ups to you big Vic
Great video very helpful you explained a lot .
I haven't even started, and I must say you dropping straight jewels on this video. I can't wait to get started in the trucking industry.
Bro you're doing good content showing us how you go through the load board. Thanks
Would like to see a video of you calling on how to negotiate a load since a lot them you have to negotiate. Love the content
Great video Vic!!! My truck is on the move with a driver…Authority is on 2 months old..Looking to learn to dispatch my self..Will set up another consultation this weekend
You’re a blessing man thank you!!!! I’m getting .40 and I’m content after watching the board I’m like yoooooooooo I’m surprised RUclips let you post this knowledge that’s worth gold. May the most high continue to open doors!!! 🫡
straight gems
Hey Raleigh area here box truck loading love the info you giving thanks…
I been trying to get in your classes but I can’t get in
Vic, please continue doing great work. Your channel inspired mines. 🎉
Thanks, that’s amazing!! I saw one of your videos a day ago, it got recommended when I searched box truck content. I had no idea you watched mine. Keep going!! 🙌🏾💯☺️
Agreed
YOU THE GOAT 🐐 VIC! DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU ANY DIFFERENT 💪🏾🎯
My guy!! 💯💪🏾
I been following u for a minute and to me this is the best video you’ve done. I watched the other RUclipsrs as well but they haven’t went into detail with the load board like u did. I’m down n Arkansas. How the loads look this way?
You’ll have to catch me when I’m live. Not sure.
Hey like always love the videos , you are by far the best in giving true advice , and tell it like it is ,,, thank you for all the help .
now i just have one question , that i been trying to search and answer to .... does DAT have a requirement on how old your truck can be or how many miles,,,,, im new to all these so just trying to find info. again thank for all the amazing info.
No age requirements. No miles restrictions. ✌🏾
Lfg vic man I been down for a min but just decided I'm going bk otr going to rent for a while how's the NC market
I always find your teaching interests, you're motivating me by your post. Plz can you be able to mentor me on how to start plz and plz
Would you use this the same way if you aren’t otr. And when you negotiate do you usually have a certain amount you go up or you just base it off of each load?
What about the loads in Texas with new authority. Is it possible to be successful
majorrrrrr
Hey Vic.. I been watching your videos all weekend. Do you know any load boards for local carriers
Depending on where you are located I’d give DAT a look or Sylectus. Search indeed for local contract work.
any advice for new MC on booking loads. great info in video
Get a DOT inspection at a weigh station. If they do it and you pass use that as leverage when calling brokers. Some will let you run their loads, some won’t. Keep making those calls.
Nice video can you please make a video about 16” and 18” box truck with lift gate
I’m located in Florida btw
That’s not particularly my lane. But you can use DAT one load board with the same methods I spoke about in video. You just need to focus on loads 18’ and under. ✌🏾
We need a live phone call.on booking a load with brokers.
Can we see a video on new authorities finding work?
So since most of these loads want at least 1 year of authority, how does a beginner get loads? Where do we start?
Do you recommend DAT for companies with brand new authority? I appreciate the information as always.
Yes.. not all brokers will say no to a new authority.
Can you create a Roadside inspection video since now most brokers are asking for a safer rating.
I should have jumped out when DOT was doing my level inspection and dropped it for content. Maybe on my next one!!
Big vic, how are you doing. Question if I have the money to buy the 26 foot box truck but the Penske rep try is telling me why don't you finance and save your money what do u think
Truth is they want to make money off of the financing. Completely up to you. If you can pay cash and still have a good $5k to $10k on standby pay cash. If paying cash leaves you on E then finance. But also be aware that if you finance and want to pay it off early they will have a clause that says you’ll have to make payments for at least half the loan term before you can pay it off. ✌🏾
Thats what I thought, and I do have extra money for a couple rainy days,I let you know when the time comes I'm from New York and need a minty
When you book a load how much paper work is involved after?
Rate confirmation from broker and Bill of lading that you will receive at shipper that must be signed by receiver.
Hello, I am new to this and am doing my due diligence on the load boards. On DAT load board what does "Spot Rate" mean?
On the spot, not under contract or dedicated freight.
@@BiggVic Thanks family I appreciate it.
We 1 dry van truck. Owner operator can respond.
Do you need the same authority to run a 26 ft box That you would need to run a 53 foot tractor trailer?
Absolutely 💯 no difference. Commercial freight is commercial freight.
What’s up Vic I know you said you use the upgraded version of the app is it the one for $180?
Correct DAT ONE formerly Power ☝️
What insurance companies would you recommend for an owner op at 1 year in service
The choices are a bit slim at 1 yr old but I’m a do another video with my top 5 recommendations for commercial insurance companies.
@@BiggVic Thank you so very much
Hi Vic…I’m Les out of Illinois and looking to buy my 26’ box truck what would you recommend as a newbie in the business as far as getting loads?
Sign up for every app that you can find to move freight that doesn’t require you to have an aged Authority. You can dabble with the brokers on DAT to see who will give you a shot. Look for opportunities on Indeed.com, Craigslist. Reach out to shippers in your area and introduce your company. Do what most people are not willing to do and you’ll find some gold right in your back yard. ✌🏾
@@BiggVic thanks so much Vic really appreciate you… Though these months I’ve really gain a lot of knowledge from you…❤️
Do they have the time loads need to be picked up?
Yes, they will give you all of that information.
Hello, I am just now getting into trucking is this a load board I can do and I am a beginner?
Yes, you'll for sure get some no's because of the age of your authority. But if you call enough you'll get that yes.
Could I apply this for a 16ft box truck or nah?
Absolutely!!👍🏾 💯
I was wondering can you give me the two websites for obtaining a DOT number and a MC number I'm located in North Carolina by the way thank you for your assistance
Not to be harsh but you can literally Google it and it’ll take you to the sites
If you buy a truck and your authority is new will companies work with you or would you have to wait a while?
Some will most won’t, and the ones that will more than likely will try and take advantage. Try and lease on to a company with an aged authority . A lot of fraud happens so I get why they vet new carriers.
Hey Vic is there a company that you can recommend on any company I can sign on with?
I met cloudtrucks.com at the Mats trucking event last year. They do lease ons for new authority.
@@BiggVic thank you
Getting work for new authorities
How much can I make doing Amazon relay in mobile, Al
3000$/week avg add or take 300$, this is after taking fuel price only. u still need to take insurance, oil, truck payment, maintenance....
Are a majority of companies requiring over a year of authorization
I would say a vast majority would be roughly 6 months some more some less
whats the lowest $ youd go per mile? Im thinking about getting a truck
Everyone’s bottom line number is different. There is no max or minimum number I could give you without knowing your fixed monthly expenses to run your trucking company. ✌🏾
I wonder who took the NC to Sandiego load for $0.59 a mile.
😂 I hope nobody
Under $2.00 a mile is basically running for free. That's still way to low.
Peace Peace king salute 🫡
They post 1-2 great loads a day ! Most loads are garbage
What market are you located in?
I blame people like you for this trucking crisis
😂
