I have spent all the money I paid for a warranty. Starter, nox sensor and turbo! Warranty was 5100$ walk away from it they negotiated. I paid $4000.00 So yeah for me i broke even with 3 months left on it.
I normally agree with you but not with this. Had my truck for less than 3 months. Had an EGR cooler go bad. I spent 6k for all inclusive warranty. All in, repair bill was close to 4k. Warranty doesn't cover diagnostic (don't think any do), and a 350 co-pays put me at 750. Overall, warranty covered the rest putting in about half of what I paid in for the warranty.
Warranties are for peace of mind imo. You hope nothing major happens but if it does, you're happy you have it.

Warranty plans are a complete waste of money. They find the smallest reason to not cover repairs. Including the non-commercial vehicle warranty plans.

Hey vic, Will shuttle hostler/shunting shifts count towards first 3 loads for breaking up zero performance score.
That’s really a great question, I’ve never heard of anyone getting a performance score from doing one of those.

If it looks like junk, some shippers will deny loading you. But a well kept older truck shouldn’t be an issue. I’ve seen plenty of older models rolling. Certain driver apps have a certain year they’ll use.✌🏾
