I just hit "subscribe" - - - this is great information. I have a Zoysia lawn that is "infected" with Bermuda. I live in northern Mississippi - I find your tutorials extremely helpful.
If you have a small fungus issue, cinnamon works. I saw someone on RUclips mention how cinnamon has antifungal properties and I used it 2 years ago and it worked.
Very helpful Chadd, THANK YOU!! We have zoysia and believe to have dollar spot and it's taken over and causing me stress b/c lord knows I don't want a letter from the HOA!! Should we dethatch, and then put down the fungicide first followed by a hit of 15-0-15 / 10-0-10 a few days after?
Thanks for all you do. I have quite a bit of bermuda mixed in with my Zoysia. I'd say it's about 50/50. It has crept in from the golf course. What should I do that's different from this video as far as fertilization?
Nothing different!! Living on the golf course that's always a battle. Bermuda lives nitrogen. So using less and spoon the feeding the zoysia will benefit the zoysia grass more than the bermuda.
Aside from heat stress from my neighbors window reflecting the sunlight in a rectangular patch on my zoysia,I just discovered that there is gravel and rock about 2 inches below my zoysia where it’s been turning yellow for the past two years I’m guessing because of the heat that heats up the rock takes away. The moisture in the grass area is about 6‘ x 6‘ area. What’s the best way of trying to get the gravel dug out from under it without destroying my yard?
Watched whole thing to hear what fertilizer and weed killer to use (ratios of each?) and when. You’re talking to greens keepers, not amateurs with lawns. WARN THE AUDIENCE so we don’t waist our time!
I love the Content

Don't dethatch ik the summer. But fungicide and fertilization is perfect. Dethatch in fall or spring.
Loved the video, thank you! Do you recommend a proactive application of fungicide (in Savannah)? If so, when?

Thanks Chad!
Great info. I've been doing things based on bermuda grass because it's a warm season turf. Wish I went with bermuda 😅
Thank you for the information!

3 to 5 days a week in full sun.
Any advice for dog spots?
Unfortunately, not really. Try to get them used to pee gravel and I stall that. That's about it.

It's not really a way to get it out without tearing up the lawn. You can slowly add soil on top and let it settle and hope it buries the rocks more.
The grass look pale
