I travelled in Sweden, Norway and Danmark with my Street triple 675 in 2016, and I really loved the bike.... Because I commute about 150 km's a day (kilometers, because I'm from Belgium :-)) I bought me a Tiger 800 in march 2017. By now (8 months later) I did about 20.000 km's, and also took a 4000km - trip through the Alps. And how much I love the Tiger.... I still miss the Street triple. I tested the new 765RS a few months ago, and I immediately remembered the reason why I started, and still love, riding a bike.... I know the tiger is perfect for commuting (especially in the winter), but I can't get over the street triple.... what a dilemma! I really don't want to buy 2 bikes.By the way, I really loved the review, watched it 2 times ! :-)

Just done a trip all the way round Spain on my street triple RS with 3 other mates and apart from a 3 day stay at Benidorm we headed for mountain areas to camp, it was by far the best bike trip I have ever done in my 39 years of motorcycling, great roads, views, weather and of course a superb piece of machinery to ride it on, we covered almost 3000 miles. You are right about the wind blast but we stuck to the speed limits anyway, perhaps when more aftermarket parts become available I will get a taller screen.
Excellent video and thanks for posting it. Stephen Latchford

    My RS in 4500km:
-Slight coolant leagage (bolts not tightened to 10Nm...)
-"Check engine light" (oxidation on the brake light connector under the fuel tank)
-Clutch lever adjuster spring lost its tension, saw the adjusted wheel turn by the wind blast while on the Autobahn.
-Clutch lever didn't fully return to resting position. It grinded a little against the housing, the debris that came off made the action move heavily.
All quickly fixed (even while on vacation in Germany) while I had a drink at the dealership.
And still ... absolutely LOVE that bike :D

Wauw guys...really amazing movie and great story about going out there and seeking the adventure. Also real nice to share such adventure with an old friend.
I went for a little adventure myself yesterday after work where i decided to go on the search for some new roads only to find myself on a familiar road a little later. I live in The Hague and decided to go South along the shoreline towards Hoek van Holland. As a kid I would take the ferry from Hoek van Holland to harwich to visit family for Christmas. And without knowing where I was really heading I found myself driving on the exact same road (dike to be precise) that I had been on so many times heading towards of from the ferry... pretty special. After which I found some lovely b roads with some big roundabouts for some cornering action as far as that goes on a roundabout.
Would love some more video's like this one in the near future!
    All the best!

As a Triumph lover, I've owned a Triumph Explorer, a Tiger 1050 and a Speed Triple R. I've never been a fan of the Street Triple's looks to be honest but have to say this is probably the best looking so far, and it sounds fantastic! Good video, a little different from the usual stuff that's out there.

A few years back, my friend and I rode to Colorado, we got up to 12,000 ft. (about 3650 m. to you) and I have an 08 Bonneville America, last year carbureted. It was very sluggish, but nothing a downshift couldn't cure. Had to adjust the idle at elevation. Ran like a champ otherwise. Love Triumph's, still have it with 69,000 mi.on the clock.

In 2016 i did the picos de europa in spain, amazing roads, good temperature and good, scenery, more unknow than alpes but still enjoyable, better for roads quality in my opinion

Does make me laugh seeing all those GSs on bike shuttle. I tour on a Daytona 675R. Sure it's not for everyone, in fact after 15 years touring on sports bikes it's not for me for much longer., changing this year. But once you're on the good roads, being on a sporty bike makes it worth it!
But surely the point of a 1200GS is you can get there easily? If your going to get your bike shipped there, ride something more fun for when you're there...
I guess you don't have a global explorer 'image' then though.
