I have the RS Moto 2 and it is AMAZING. This bike is almost TOO perfect! 😊 After my first test ride, I finished up the ride, walked into the dealership and said: it is impossible to ride this bike and not purchase it on the spot. Hi Kate. Just here to say that, partially because of your enthusiasm, I’m swapping my MT09SP for a red RS. Have you got your Street Triple yet? What are your thoughts on the main differences with the MT09SP? I am thinking in going the same road as you ....! Cheers
@@patrickrosello9583 just seen this. Sorry for the late reply. The difference mostly is how they make their power. At first I thought the Triumph was slow compared to the Yamaha, I’d be in sixth gear thinking that I’m in 3rd! I am not alone in saying this but also my friend who bought an RS like mine. The Triumph is so much easier to ride quick. It’s also nicer in town. It’s finer. The Yamaha though is no lesser bike. It has a bigger engine and it feels like it. Very playful and sounds great. You had a beautiful day and ride for your final thoughts Kate. Some how we knew that you liked the yellow Triumph. Take care and have a good weekend too.
Sounds so nice, what a sweet tone it has, I would never change the exhaust. and it looks beautiful. love both the red and the yellow. it would be the perfect bike if it had some wind protection. I don't know why motorcycle manufactures don't realize that people are buying naked bikes for the comfortable ergonomics with close to sport bike performance. they are not buying them because they love the wind hammering them at anything over 60mph. What people really want are sport bikes without the back breaking ergonomics. not track bikes that you can only stand being on for a half an hour of riding. in my opinion the 765 would be so much better with at least an upper fairing. companies should take a lesson from the Ducati Supersport which is an amazing bike.
Absolutely brilliant, good fun! I've got my RS, and wouldn't trade it for anything. Fast and agile, with a forward leaning rider body position that is the perfect balance of being forward on the controls, whilst not putting any undue pressure on your hands and wrists. Here's my only negative. There is a body paint matched fly screen that sits above the headlights and slightly surrounds the TFT Display. This used to be standard equipment, now it's an optional extra. Kate, keep doing what you do 😁👍‼️
It's a great colour for a motorcycle, with no real need to wear eyecatching clothing. I bought my bike second hand, albeit barely used, but silver is possibly only slightly better than grey for being all but invisible to other road users. De-baffled, which helps only a little.
I own one in the same color and i'm very happy with it BUT if I had to nitpick I would say 1) The dash is too difficult to read with the text and tach being too small. The previous gen RS models had a easier to read layout IMO. 2) It's not as comfortable as my previous Street Triple (2016) but I think it's mostly due to the taller seat and more aggressive riding triangle (more pressure on my arms). 3) Smaller plastic gas tank which means reduced range and I cant use my favorite magnetic tank bag. 4) Triumph removed the nub on the kickstand that made it easier to deploy, just why?
Used to be my backyard, used to live in Chipping, perfect bike for those bumpy back roads of the lovely Forest of Bowland. The scenic pass was the Trough of Bowland👍 Live in rural Northumberland now, my Multi V2S loves a bumpy back road🤣 PS. I’d love one in the garage.

Had a 675R, Daytona 675 and 765RS in the past and the new yellow 765RS does make me go “squeee”! The only thing I found with the 765RS I had was it was almost too refined and track focused, I didn’t gel with it as a road bike. A bit strange because I expected to fall in love with it because I couldn’t fault a thing - but didn’t.
They’ve improved on the previous RS. Depends which one you had? The 17-19 was actually pretty weak as a road bike. 20-22 was better with some improved mid range torque but 23 is now more lively. Mainly due to jacking the rear up and changing the gearing. It’s much more engaging than the previous gens on the road.
@@returnedtotheearth1326 Yeah mine was a 2018. Sadly I can’t deal with the weight on the wrists any longer, otherwise the new yellow would be sitting in my garage today.
@@YarekBalear Yeah that’s fair enough. I have had the yellow now for 10 weeks. It’s my 3rd Street Triple. My last one was also an 18 but the R as it had more mid range than the RS at the time. I looked at the last gen RS and had a test ride in 21 and although the bike was better I hated all the new colours and graphics so moved to something else. Went to have a look at the new one at the dealer just out of curiosity and an hour later I’d bought a yellow one 😂
Well I am eating my words here, I said on the last video the single reason I won't buy this bike was the abomination of the TFT dispaly. Picked up my Trident from its 1st service and someone backed out of a Moto2,( no. 333/765 to boot) was an instant buy, such a gorgeous bike, guess I will have to live with that TFT dispaly or hope that Triumph maybe adds a conventional rev counter via update.
@@daveo9844 I would have too on a normal RS but the opportunity to own a Moto2 was just too tempting, especially since its no. 333 ... lol, will be a great addition to my channel.
My neck of the woods, being from Preston... Nice aint it?. Great objective review Kate.. Was already interested, this review has sealed the deal It can go alongside my Z900RS.. Are you local to the area, and do i detect a little Manchester twang in your voice? More of this please, its really good .👍
Great review. Having seen one at the dealership when I was having my Trident serviced, I am tempted! Just got to get the missus 'on side' though! Regarding the backside ache after a few hours, I get that with the Trident as well. I think that this is a general issue with many bike seats. A solution that works for me is to wear gel-pad cycling shorts under the jeans or leathers.
I have a 2020 R version Black & Red which i think is the dog's bollocks of a colour the handling and engine is brilliant i absolutely love it getting around the twisties, i would bin that stock exhaust
Hello Kate, nice review... I have one small question - is it yours street triple making some kind of buzzing rattle sound (like something loose) I bought a model 2023 and had no previous experience with triples before? Thx
I feel extremely privileged to own a 1200gs and a Striple rs, I’m with you on the handling, sweet engine with an unexpected amount of torque, still don’t care for the dash having tried every possible dash mode and although the tyres give an insane amount of grip (in the dry) they’re more suited to track days than typical UK weather days, I’m sure road 6’s would be more suitable for every day riding. Love everything else about it, been out round Snowdonia today with perfect weather, fantastic.
@@cosmic_gate476 Hi, personally I think the Trident would be way more suitable, the best way forward is to go up in stages that you’ll feel comfortable and of course safe. Whatever you decide enjoy your riding.
@@cosmic_gate476I've just got my street triple today. My previous bike was a CB500F, and I hadn't ridden in about two years. I was a bit worried when I heard the engine roar on start up, buy honestly no issues at all so long as you stay mentally in control
Nice to see a review on the 765RS. i just sold a RS660 and some other bits and fancied trying one of these. Test rode one yesterday and was genuinely impressed with it. The 890 Duke R was also in the running specially with the discounting, but even then for styling and looks alone i am still drawn to a red 765RS. Thanks for the review and lookout Triumph Chester - incoming.
@@UsernameKate i just had both the red and yellow side by side at Triumph Chester, under the flouro lighting the red popped and looked simply stunning. However outside the Yellow had almost a pearl like quality about it and the Red went quite dark. So plumped for the Yellow - only to find out the Yellow in stock was sold just earlier. Typical. First world problem huh
Which bike would you choose Kate between the 2023 Triumph Street Triple RS or the 2023 KTM 890 Duke R. Love your channel, you do a brilliant road test and review.
I love the 2023 RS, I've had mine since March (in cosmic yellow) it's my 3rd consecutive street triple 765 and Triumph have definitely raised the bar with this model, my only complaint is the TFT which IMO is really poor and like a fisher price toy, the more basic one on the R and also the Tiger 660 and Trident is better, basic but does everything required but the TFT is a minor blip when taken against the bike as a whole which is superb.
I've got the striple r 675 2012 and I don't know if it's worth me going up to the 765 because the 675 is more than enough for me at the moment. I think if I did sell her I would go to the 1050 speed. Great video I love watching the channel ❤

Hi Kate. Another great video. The Street Triple is definitely in the top of my list for one of my next bikes. What are your thoughts on pillion accomodations?
29 inches. This video might be useful as it shows me sitting on the bike. ruclips.net/video/g_ykxQB2J3Q/видео.html also, it's just time and trying lots of bikes that has lead me to where I'm at with my confidence and having my partner Mike who has faith in me..makes me have faith in myself 😊
I demo'd an R and when looking at a 2nd hand one against new this was the biggest turn off. With only 3=6 months warranty and only 2 year on new ones. I enjoyed the ride, wasn't a fan of the kickstand (small thing) and have ended up buying a 2nd hand s1000rr albeit for more money but with 2 years bmw warranty I feel I made the right choice. Good video though, very good round up. Just a shame the it didn't set me alight. obvs the s1000rr does :)
The new RS is a great bike, don't get me wrong, plenty of power, great handling. But the mirrors are blurred at motorway speeds (which is where you really need them to look for coppers) and after an hour on the bike my hands were buzzing due to the vibes. No reviewer has mentioned this, which I find odd.
I don't genuinely dont get vibes from this bike (the buzzing in my hands like they're on springs afterwards) and I have with other bikes before like the M1000R after a day's hard riding and my 690 duke. I'd mention it if I felt consciously affected by it but I just don't on the RS. and as for coppers? Many unmarked in my area certainly 🤣
@@UsernameKate That's good to know, thanks. It could be me, or it could be my specific demo bike. Anyway I'm hoping to test the XSR900 in the next couple of days, so we will see if I get the same issue there.
Hah I have that same worry @1:45 of a biker or car coming enthusiastically round the corner. It's ok though as hopefully that keeps us safe and alive to ride another day right and have fun again where we can see all the way.
Thanks Kate. What a gorgeous route and interesting road, although I bet it's tricky during those colder and wetter times. "This bike feels like cheating", I know what you mean haha. Keep up the great work and stay safe. :>)

Sorrt for newbie question What's your setup? That a gopro on the helmet? What keeps it in place on the helmet? How you record you voice as well and is that a Bluetooth device on side of helmet?
I had the old 675R back in 2013 but found the suspension way to hard for the roads in rural Derbyshire. Wonder what your thoughts are on our now even worse roads?
If I were a fellow of smaller stature. I’d love to own one of these bikes. Unfortunately, it’s just not a good fit for me. I even rode the trident, and still felt like I was on a mini bike.
Yeah it’s just a case of getting used to it. I’ve had mine 10 weeks now and haven’t had any false neutrals. But it is my 3rd Street Triple so it’s a gear change Im used to.
Just to put it out there.. I’ve had my full license since I was 24 & been riding since I was 16yrs old & I have NEVER had to claim on any insurance policy at all, and Bikesure is the most expensive company. I don’t understand. And my 2 Bikes are Always Garaged & alarmed with day/night vision cctv
@@UsernameKate I've been told to wait for few more days, the new Bajaj - triumph 400cc bike ordeal has delayed the deliveries of the street triples. It's been on hold for the last couple of months. I've been waiting for mine since march
You've now got me thinking of trading in my 22 Tuono (base) for the 765RS. The Tuono is a bit to much for an average road ride & quite aggressive. But its got good pillion accommodation. Do you think the 765RS would be a bit small for two up riding? I have a Speed Triple 1200RR as well & ride this more solo as its easier to ride due to the light gearbox, shifter, blipper & smooth engine - I can only imagine the 765RS will be more of the same.
@@richardoldfield4067 The MT10 can't match the European bikes on looks that's for sure but it's crossplane engine makes up for it. The 765 is a fantastic bike and if it's light, nimble and 'enough' power you are after it has a lot to offer.
Hello. Thanks a lot ! I am thinking about buying this bike. I tried it and felt slightly too much pressure on my wrists that i am used to. But i love the bike very much that i still would like to buy it, regardless of the pain. Would you think that the low seat would help me sit more straight ? I am 1.81cm and 73kg, so no problem touching the ground anyway. Thanks
There’s a shim (shock) they can remove which will lower the seat a tad, plus a small bar riser that lifts and moves forward (towards you) the bars a bit. You need a small adapter for the brake res., but it looks simple. Those might change the geometry enough for comfort. Cheers 👍🤪🏳️🌈

I’m holding strong until that TFT is improved 🤢
@@daveo9844 I would have too on a normal RS but the opportunity to own a Moto2 was just too tempting, especially since its no. 333 ... lol, will be a great addition to my channel.
My neck of the woods, being from Preston...
Nice aint it?.
Great objective review Kate..
Was already interested, this review has sealed the deal
It can go alongside my Z900RS..
Are you local to the area, and do i detect a little Manchester twang in your voice?
More of this please, its really good .👍
Stunning bike and looks great in that orange colour for the price hard to beat!!! Keep up the great vids Kate👍
Thx
Same clutch cable problem (obstructing the dash) for the 2020-2022 models. Good to see they fixed it in the 2023/24 MY.
I can't believe it took them that long! 🤣
Would you recommend a street triple 765 for someone upgrading from a CB300R or is it better to go something more tame like the trident 660?
@@cosmic_gate476 Hi, personally I think the Trident would be way more suitable, the best way forward is to go up in stages that you’ll feel comfortable and of course safe. Whatever you decide enjoy your riding.
@@cosmic_gate476I've just got my street triple today. My previous bike was a CB500F, and I hadn't ridden in about two years. I was a bit worried when I heard the engine roar on start up, buy honestly no issues at all so long as you stay mentally in control
I'm in Canada. That looks like Yorkshire. I lived in Leeds 45 years ago! And the accent is distinguishing ;)
Yeah it was Yorkshire 😁
Great video as always.
Not really my style if bike, but it is growing on me
Nice to see a review on the 765RS. i just sold a RS660 and some other bits and fancied trying one of these. Test rode one yesterday and was genuinely impressed with it. The 890 Duke R was also in the running specially with the discounting, but even then for styling and looks alone i am still drawn to a red 765RS. Thanks for the review and lookout Triumph Chester - incoming.
The red RS looks sooo good!
You cant go wrong with the red but i know what you mean about the pearl sparkle under the sun!
After 2 hours .. oooh! Cows! - brilliant. Enjoy your videos, awaiting my rs presentky and its scratching an itch!
Great bike if you don’t do track days! Is it worth just getting the R over this? Your thoughts?
Which bike would you choose Kate between the 2023 Triumph Street Triple RS or the 2023 KTM 890 Duke R.
Love your channel, you do a brilliant road test and review.
I live in Vancouver BC Canada which has its own beauty, but that road was killer.👍
Trough of Bowland. I ride up there regularly. 👍👍
Those roads, those views and that accent really make me miss England. I really appreciate the video, and the bike is nice too.
Bought a 2022 RS a month ago. Its an absolute weapon around the twisties!
Like a Raleigh Grifter with an engine!!!😂
I've got the striple r 675 2012 and I don't know if it's worth me going up to the 765 because the 675 is more than enough for me at the moment. I think if I did sell her I would go to the 1050 speed. Great video I love watching the channel ❤
Great vlog Kate , if only I was younger I’d get one , plus the correct country saying for what that cow did is Splat 😂😂👍👍😂
Fair play Kate. Your review/s are really decent with no hair or graces. I've just joined your channel via the camping in Wales episode, weather 😭
Bbq = top jeans 😂 😂 😂
No one can deny you can ride a bike, maybe, except Mike off road, patience is a virtue and virtue is doing it which you did without throwing the towel in 👏 👏 👏 Great content, great reviews, great commentary. Safe journeys 💪
Thank you for the kind words, it really does bring a smile to my face reading stuff like this!!
I owned the original street triple r 2009, as with the 675 a great bike but i found that you can never just relax on it.
Such a Great Quality content ! I don't get why you have so low subscribers count (acc. To me) compared to the content you create. If you were in India , millions of bike enthusiasts would've subscribed to your channel . Anyways A Big thumps up 👍 keep up the hardwork and keep growing !
Hi Kate. Another great video. The Street Triple is definitely in the top of my list for one of my next bikes.
What are your thoughts on pillion accomodations?
Nice review, nice ride and I’m thrilled the cow gave a shit about your review… is that a good thing or a bad thing?
Hi Kate , what’s your inside leg measurement ? This is a tall bike. I’m 29.5” . How did you become confident on taller bikes at low speed control?
Whats the MPG for the bmw ?
Great video. Really wish I could afford one. It looks and sounds soooo good. Perhaps one day. 🙂
Ride safe and ride smart.
Great ride review Kate. Triumph do build high quality bikes and the RS in yellow is beautiful 😍
Fantastic video Kate, amazing roads and scenery.
Great review and beautiful scenery. What part of England was this?
The cows are like 'I like your bike lady, MOOOOO'
Just put a deposit down on a red RS!
How was the suspension on those poor back roads?
Owned a Hayabusa for 5 years after several Japan bikes but sold it and bought a Triumph Street Triple R instead. Much better riding position and great power and easy to ride. Yeah, i really like my ever first English bike ... TRIUMPH. Thanks Great Britain. 😄❤️👍
Still like it? Also coming from jap bikes
Own a triple R but the RS and moto versions are making me want to trade it in! hahah. Love the yellow. What kind of jacket are you wearing?
Sorrt for newbie question
What's your setup?
That a gopro on the helmet? What keeps it in place on the helmet? How you record you voice as well and is that a Bluetooth device on side of helmet?
If their not selling ice cream their missing a trick ... hahaha Love it!
I never get tired of seeing the countryside. Bless you and thank you
Any thoughts about how it stacks up against its competitors? the MT09SP etc.
I like your vids, and enjoy seeing you riding roads I’m familiar with.
Great bike in a great colour.
BTW, those were bulls and bullocks, now cows 👍
More RPM (like more happy zone 😊), more braking power (brembo stylema) and better suited to the track day (moto2) 💛💛💛 and Cosmic Yellow is awesome 🤗
Looks so good in that colour
It really does!!
I had the old 675R back in 2013 but found the suspension way to hard for the roads in rural Derbyshire. Wonder what your thoughts are on our now even worse roads?
If you were offered a Street Triple R or a GSX S1000, which one would you put in your garage and why?
Absooutely Gorgeous machine Kate!
If I were a fellow of smaller stature. I’d love to own one of these bikes. Unfortunately, it’s just not a good fit for me. I even rode the trident, and still felt like I was on a mini bike.
I've had a ton of false neutrals on mine but as I've gotten used to it I haven't had much of an issue.
Yeah it’s just a case of getting used to it. I’ve had mine 10 weeks now and haven’t had any false neutrals. But it is my 3rd Street Triple so it’s a gear change Im used to.
Nice up Bowland, used to be from around that area when was very young. Lovely part of the world. RS looks swish.
Love a ride over the trough ,, lovely rds , great bike
Great video. Well done
That's a great bike, Kate! Safe riding!
I'm trying to decide between this Striple and the latest Yamaha XSR900????
Can't wait to take delivery of mine.
When do you take delivery?! Soon?!
@@UsernameKate I've been told to wait for few more days, the new Bajaj - triumph 400cc bike ordeal has delayed the deliveries of the street triples. It's been on hold for the last couple of months.
I've been waiting for mine since march
Good Day 🎉
I’m 6’2” with a 34” inseam ……
Will I “ Comfortably “ fit on this RS ???
Great 👍🏻 Review !!!!
Cheers 🍻
I'd say try one...I've got 30" inside leg and bike felt perfect for me. You may think bike feels small.
Thanks for the review and the advise !
Cheers
I have a 22 Speed Twin 1200 but after 6 months , thinking of changing to the new Street. Any advice/ comments?
You've now got me thinking of trading in my 22 Tuono (base) for the 765RS. The Tuono is a bit to much for an average road ride & quite aggressive. But its got good pillion accommodation. Do you think the 765RS would be a bit small for two up riding? I have a Speed Triple 1200RR as well & ride this more solo as its easier to ride due to the light gearbox, shifter, blipper & smooth engine - I can only imagine the 765RS will be more of the same.
Have you looked at the MT10? The CP4 R1 engine has a similar glorious sound to the Tuono V4 and you can pick the up new for £12.5k
@@stevecade857 Thanks Steve, Not a fan of the MT10 but it was a drop in power I think I need so 765RS is on the Radar.
@@richardoldfield4067 The MT10 can't match the European bikes on looks that's for sure but it's crossplane engine makes up for it. The 765 is a fantastic bike and if it's light, nimble and 'enough' power you are after it has a lot to offer.
I love my "Ridiculously Sexy" cosmic yellow too! Keep up the good work, Kate. 👍
Didn’t realize places like this existed in the Uk 🇬🇧 beautiful
Yeah we do have some pretty places!!
Thanks Kate, I think Triumph have really nailed it with that bike especially at that price, good review, oh and by the way those cows were bulls, glad you didn't try milking them lol.
Great review and nice riding 👌🏽
your fear is right ! today in a newspaper excact what you talking about (Ruhrtalbrücke / A52 Bridge over Ruhr) small street and alot traffic and only the aeroplane pilots for DUS have radar we havn't !!!
why are motorbikes so expensive by less wight on each surface also smaller parking-lots are for need ...and so on
"it stops so well..." , sorry kate we do not have any further data's like temperature about the breaking fluid (operation range in F°/ °C ) i disslike tuning parts which take slow the cooling of the liquid in summertime downhill for an hour breaks a boiling , i'am sure you know it !!!
Wonder if it’s not a bit cramped for a tall fellow 190 or 6’3
Nice work Kate…. again! Cheers.
Nice ride👍 But the roads was not very good. In Poland, into the deep villages, roads are more modern and smooth😁👍
Love this vlog Kate looking forward to seeing it later on love seeing you on a sportsbike wearing your leathers and swanky helmet and dark visor ride safe 😅
so nice to the horse im crying
