Just wow. My favourite. Marry me. I'm only 70. Lol.
That'd be a 26 cm pan. 26 inch pan would feed quite a few people. 👍
Yeah, 26" would cover the whole stove. More like 10"
Just cooked it for myself and my family. Absolutely awesome mate, thank you very much for sharing your recipes, we're very grateful 👍
My favourite, this is what I order from our local Bangladesh curry house. Thanks for sharing. I’ll try this one this week.
I love it when chefs share ideas and recipes. Some recipes are secret though 😂🤣👍
Hi, how much would this do? And would I have to double on the ingredients for 5 people? Looks very nice
I just made this. I followed every step exactly. I now have a freezer full of base gravy and Latifs puree.
If I had ordered this from a takeaway or restaurant I would be recommending the place to everyone... And I made it myself! Thank you Sir.
Respect bro 🙏...awesome vlog 👏...that looks amazing...am well impressed...am on this one, big time...
Talented chef, very informative, thanks
That is not a 26 inch pan or it is over 2 foot wide. 26cm maybe...
I thought that when he said.
It's 26 cm just short of 10 inch. 👍
Said much the same on adifferent vid.
A great classic BIR dish, one of my favourites...
Took a screenshot of the ingredients to "Have a go" at your recipe 😊
Just cooked this along with the base gravy. I surprised myself, it tastes amazing! Maybe not so much lemon juice next time. Now i have a freezer full of base gravy... What to try next? 😜
Bought the ingredients and started to make, then you said add gravy.......?lol
Latif. If you are cooking for 4, do you double all the ingredients or just add more base gravy and tomato puree. We absolutely adore your recipes. When we move closer, we are coming to your restaurant. 👍👏👏
Hi there, made this at the weekend, outstanding!! Thanks for the recipe
Latif can you do a Chicken Achari ? Please.
As a chef myself, (English Gastro) You have inspired me to get into Indian Cuisine. Just got back from the shops after buying all the ingredients you use in most videos. Cheers! Keep these coming. Also, you are a master at "Winging it" ;)
Outstanding video once again latif you smashed it looks stunning , just one question , what if I never had a base gravy to use ?
hi bro.i m u r biggest fan from Taiwan. can u teach us how to make naan dough n also how to make in tandoor
just made this unbelievable, great better thank my local takeaway thank you
My man! But fresh garlic my lidian mate users... Lemon and suger..
Mustard oil isn't licensed in the UK for human consumption... is it possible to buy?
All the Pataks tubs being reused? Thought resturants made their own pastes etc?
I absolutely love your videos I’ve used them numerous times but how much onion do use in patia sauce I know that is a silly question but phrrrrr what can I say 🥴
Bro I’m a young chef also and u remind me so much of me hahahahaha
Could I use mango pulp instead of mango chutney?
At tge beginning that waa not jus peppers! When u tipped the red green peppers in, wat was all the white stuff?
Was that onions or something, the peppers were in the bowl on the topbit wen u tipped the peppers in, it was clear ther was another ingredient under the peppers.
Looked like chopped onions?
I bet you tell your wife it's a 26 inch pan too 😏🤣
Can I use the gravy you made for the butter chicken in this recipe?
Can someone send me the link for the red tikka pieces please.

Thank you :)
im worried about the metal spoon scratching the pan
You are doing an amazing job, I give my total respect. Cannot be easy alongside service....Colin from Reading
Made this curry twice now, the first time all the family liked it, so I made it again a month later and it was really nice again. I will definitely do this recipe again
I’ve been making this dish a lot with plain chicken and absolutely love it! Instead of a normal tomato, throw in a few fresh chopped cherry tomatoes for the sweetnesses. I also like to cut back on the chilli powder and chuck one or two green chillis in, for a better flavour 👍🏻
Pathia is my fav curry and this is right up there with the best, I’ve had!
What a great guy and talented chef,i am going to book a table without a doubt soon, the food looks amazing, thanks for sharing your wonderful knowledge and recipes.
Fantastic chef couldn’t fault only downfall he’s from bishnath 😅 keep up the good work and keep the vids coming #NobiganjMassive🤗

I was only in your restaurant on Sunday evening, we moved away in February but we used to visit all the time and we made the journey as it is our favourite place to eat and was not disappointed. The food is the best Indian food I have ever eaten. I had the south Indian lamb and my mrs had the mango chicken. My kids also loved the food. This guy and his team can cook amazing food. And my partner would love to see a recipe for the mango chicken in the near future.
What's his shop called and where is it!
It's called latifs in alsager

Loving the channel, how about a jalfrezzi? Or a none bir authentic curry dish? Keep up the excellent work 😀
This man has skills, I've ate chicken pathia from nearly every take away and restuarant in my city for the last 13 years, I have always ate the same dish and I've just cooked my own following this and already its tasting 100% I added some potatoes and it's simmering away ready for tonight👌👌👌 2:18
Great recipe! I think the tumeric, garam masala, and coriander are 1/2, 1/3, and 1 TABLEspoon though.
Thank you, I searched for a pathia recipe and you appear like god thriving in his kitchen showing us how its done. Amen to you sir❤️🙏🏻
11:10 can I get aaa??
Fantastic my friend. Keep them coming. Did your simple chicken curry last night wow superb. Looking forward to visiting your restaurant.
Bistro gravy ?
just stumbled across your channel and it is the best BIR recipe one I have found by miles. Others are good like MistyRicardo but you explain these so much better! Shame your restaurant is far from where I live as I'd love to visit. If ever in the area i I will try to go though!
After all this vivid stuff has gone we’re coming up to your restaurant, we only live right by J13 of M6 so just a 30min journey!!! Loving your vids!!
Wow!! Must say this is the best curry I’ve cooked, and I’ve cooked a fair few. Outstanding
Salam bro..iv bn in this Indian trades fr a long time n i gota say ur one of the best styled Chef..i luv yr cooking. Gna come in one day, pls gv me yr restrnt addres so i cud try a dish esp satkora one thats cooked in the blk pot..kp up the gud wrk.. respect frm Burnley N W-east Lancashire's
I have many Indian cookbooks and a good supply of the spices. I'm always making dishes as Indian food is my favorite. The books are wonderful but not as good as watching your channel. You have taught me so much and my food is getting much better; it's starting to become more of a natural process for me!
The "vegetable" ghee was in a tin with a picture of a cow on it.
Good Dog it’s just used as tin to store the vegetable ghee in so that it stays melted ready for use. In a restaurant there isn’t much time to wait for the ghee to melt
Just cooked this meal for today's dinner, I like to cook it the night before and let all the flavours marinade.
I've been making curries and Indian food for many years and my results have been acceptable but you've taken me to a whole new level. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
Food always looks amazing, both BIR and your authentic dishes, will be doing your easy lamb bhuna but will be using neck fillets instead of leg, sure to turn out amazing what with that array of spices that will infuse into the finished dish.would love to see a video on the making and cooking of keema naans using a tawa to finish for us peeps at home.many thanks
Hi chef just come across your channel , and i must say how impressed with your videos . As a big lover of BIR dishes i all so like the way you show viewers on the real home style way of cooking Bangladeshi currys . Your presentation of the videos are top notch the love of cooking and the regard for your viewers and customers a like is out standing . I am looking forward to more videos and will be a follower of your channel from now on . Thanks so much for your time and effort you put into your videos . Ivan :-)
I’ve just ordered a takeaway and now watching this to get my appetite up.. tragic thing is my takeaway will be nowhere as good as this guy’s creations
The curry looked delicious, I look forward to giving it a try, however, I'll cook mine in a 26cm pan not a 26 inch one. Great chef ....rubbish measurer!...but you made me smile.
MashaAllah
Did this recipe today from the start followed it exactly. Did the base source and the pre cooked chicken it was fantastic. This is my daughters favourite curry and said it was one of the best she as ever had and believe me she as eaten many. Thanks for sharing the tricks the mango chutney 👍 .
Looks great! Say I wanted to make this tonight but won't have time to make a base gravy, do you still think it is worth making?
That looks great have you ever heard of a starter called chicken jhuri our local called the rupali made it and it closed a few years ago and try as I might I can’t find it anywhere
Love the channel keep up the great videos
Looks delicious mate, I'm going to have a go right now. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing another great recipe; I’ll be cooking it tonight 👍👍
Hey. Did I spy a packet of Ainsley Harriot's Curry Kit? ;)
Again another top recipe thanks Latif Your camera man is very lucky indeed to sample all these recipes !
Can you please show us how to make the gravy at home please. A user friendly one we can make at home
Looking delicious... Really awesome brother
Great video. Show us please how to make chicken dhansak next please
Tried this one. Delicious. I didn't put the gravy in.
Great recipe, cheers. I cooked it with king prawns and it was very tasty.
Thx for including the recipe at the start, it really helps!! Jeeez, I wish I lived a little (tiny) bit nearer to your place..I'd be a regular.... As it is, a relative of ours (who likes curries), lives in Shavington...I've pointed him in your direction. Put your tin hat on....he's a good 'un...but LOUD! 😏😉🙄
I'm a local and I have been a lot of times there is not a curry house in Staffordshire like this so I make the trip to latifs in Cheshire for this special meal. Take your own beer is great so you can spend more on this amazing food.
Salam Chef Latif, Very nice recipe thank you for upload.
