This was a really great podcast, worked with many travelers in my hospital but hearing Joaquin’s story unfold and seeing where he came from explains why he is such a great nurse. He has passion, and had to struggle to get where he wanted too. Feel honored to have worked with him & see him do big things.
I have been watching nurses to riches since the beginning. I talk about your channel to all my friends and now everyone’s watching! I relate so much to this podcast. I work in the hospital Joaquin started working in CA after doing travel nursing 😅
I also tried to get all of my florida coworkers to come to California but I was the only one, I’m in socal doing perdiem and still have my perdiem in north Cali. I am very interest in finding out about this website because I’ve worked at so many hospitals in California since getting here
Actually in NYP Weil Cornell Upper east side my friend told me it is 20++ per RN in the ED, then you have to cover lunchbreak of the other nurses with 20patients so you will end up having 40patients++ because lots of patient also waiting for the inpatients bed, I guess lots of corruptions from the top position or the managers position going on there, they save the money of the units so they can get higher bonuses.💯💯💯
@@joetraveler5609 that is accurate. I have former coworkers that still work for NYP and they tell me they still take care of 40+ patients regularly when they're covering another co-worker's lunch break.
Both of you, please focus on Texas! Nurses to Riches talked about Texas and he didn’t talk about Austin! WTH! But Texas would be helpful for me. Thanks!
Hi, how do I message you to know how I can start my side business, by selling items on my website, I need somebody to help me with that. You discussed it in one of your videos, but I have watched many that I could not figure out which one it is. You mentioned about buying from Alli express or something like that and sell in shopfi. I need more information and insight.
OMG you need me as a wife hahaha if i see my husband telling me hey honey look at this paycheck $19000 in California i just would say let's get the hell out of Florida baby! NOOO brainer
In process of getting Cali license I am from Florida as well. did Joaquin mention which travel agency he travels with? and is it better to use a national agency like AMN or AYA or a small local agency in California? would like to see topic on highest paying Cali travel agencies. Seem like some per diem nurses making more than travel nurses

With all the feedback you've given us on the Discord server, I am sure you could leave more reviews than anyone else who watches this video. Lol

I’m in California and I love it here!
I live in NY, work in Pa as a RN.
I recently got my Ca RN license.
Is there a way to talk to you about how to transition into a Ca RN?
I’m going to CRNA school in Porto Rico if all else fails lol 😂.
🤣🤣
16 patients in the ER, that’s insane.
No kidding.. I couldn't believe the administrators were willing to put patient's lives on the line like that.

Here 19+ patients
That's awful! It should be considered illegal for an employer to make a nurse take care of that many patients.
It should and it’s exhausting. Our patients deserve quality care and our nurses deserve better!

Yessss, review your hospitals! Thanks!
Doctors in California must be making a mill a year 😂
They'd have to be working over 60 hours per week to be earning that much or they'd have to be in private practice.
320k that is huge
Next goal is to make most of that in passive income!
With AI on the scene coding is pointless
Florida is for the birds!!
