The sign must have something to do with Ceazar's Sun sign, plus with that yellow background, no shoes on and that stern look, i bet he's been trained by a master in the desert of Yuta or some like that. But such a loss of innocence must have occurred after some great betrayal twist from people near to him, i suspect Angelo. 🤔

Times skips are probably my favorite in terms of character design and progression. I feel it's the most fun whenever given the opportunity to play around with the overall color scheme and add some little interesting details to the character that pertain to an event in the story. And I recognise a possible link between him being barefoot and the idea of "nirvana", as someone with an interest in ancient Indian philosophy and religion (e.g. enlightenment, a connection with the Earth etc.). Seriously great stuff! Keep it up.
He looks amazing! I agree, I like seeing characters I love in new, refreshing ways like AUs or time skips. Either for progression or as a deviation from the main path where the character can take something away from their journey. It's fun to see both other "flavors" of a character and to watch them grow. Hope you're recovering well and taking care of yourself

I particularly love how the red isn't extremely loud; it's more subdued which gives a regal, refined look as opposed to a bold in-your-face look that bright reds can telegraph (cough Ruby cough) and how that subtly informs me of the newfound depth or complexity of the character as opposed to the gentle blues of the younger designs which felt more innocent and open. Can't wait for the volumes to come!

This reminds me of a Vinland Saga thing where the story of young Sano is just a prologue to the actual story. That would be an interesting direction for the storytelling

When they disappear and train and the fan is at the edge of his/her seat wondering what the character may look like when they come back as well as what powers might come with them. Think one piece for example. People went crazy trying to figure out what they'd all look like when they came back the same for naruto. Sano if he does have a TIMESKIP design should be kept secret lol. Great design BTW.

I don't have a massive readership and so, the main thing now is build excitement, get sales and bolster readership. Besides, yh you've seen a draft but already got messages from people who are more engaged now to eventually see what happens. My path doesn't have to be the same as the big japanese shonen series, It's never been the same, it's harder for me but for now I'm still on the same barnes and noble shelves as them.
