We almost entered a nuclear war because of the Cuban Missile Crisis 3: ISIS or Al Quieda bombing places like Paris, Brussels, and New York City (9/11), resulting in these places holding animosity with the Middle East. The point I'm trying to make is that in each of these conflicts, we viewed ourselves as the hero, and the people that hurt us as the villainous savages, and how we're doing everything in our respective powers to take each other out. For example, I'm sure in Russia, they're treating Americans like the villain the same way we treat Russians like the villain here. In the end, this song shows that there are two sides to different stories, the Indians viewing the white men as villains and vice versa, just like in real life there are two sides to a story.
Well,in real life the english settlers which are depicted in the film actually killed every single native in cold blood extinguishing almost every tribe from existance.

The problem with Pocahontas was that it was very historically inaccurate (mainly in terms of Pocahontas and John smiths relationship, and what actually happened to her) and that it did in a way place stereotypes on native American women and people. But this song is the best song in the entire movie, because of how well it brought up the subject of racism to children. It was a pretty good movie for it's time, but it definitely could've been a LOT better, if that makes sense? And yes I know it's a kid's movie, but sometimes kids need to be introduced to the violence, you can't sugarcoat what Europeans have done to native Americans, and you can't sugarcoat Pocahontas's story

You look at human history we would do anything to one up the other we kill for the most tiny defiance of views humans even kill other humans when it's not the type of human they like the most human even kill them self's to kill others like how the Japanese crashed them self's into U.S. boats just to kill a few of them or how ISIS would bomb vest to them self's or the terrorist during 9/11 just for the factor the thought it's gonna take a few out that you don't like almost like humans are not scared to kill them self's just to kill heh THEM SELF'S we can see this during WWII the 1st weapon of mass destruction was made a weapon that can kill million's in one hit made just so it can kill as many of our self's as we can we kept on making them to scare off the other side we don't like we got so near to starting a nuclear war that could had killed million's if not billions over what? A slight disagreement a excuse to kill as much of our self's as we can just for the sake of killing more of our self's. Human nature is to fear what they don't like and to fear what we don't like can soon lead to kill what we don't like even if that means ending the other side and your side in the process. The problem with Pocahontas was that it was very historically inaccurate (mainly in terms of Pocahontas and John smiths relationship, and what actually happened to her) and that it did in a way place stereotypes on native American women and people. But this song is the best song in the entire movie, because of how well it brought up the subject of racism to children. It was a pretty good movie for it's time, but it definitely could've been a LOT better, if that makes sense? And yes I know it's a kid's movie, but sometimes kids need to be introduced to the violence, you can't sugarcoat what Europeans have done to native Americans, and you can't sugarcoat Pocahontas's story
It wasn't meant to be historically accurate, if you forget about the real story and take the movie for the piece of fiction it is, it's a lot better. In fact, it's my favorite Disney movie behind Tangled
