Ive never seen someone freestyle like a chess master, 3 moves ahead at all times. his brain works faster than the beat. national treasure.
You might think so but if you watch his TED talk he explains that he never thinks several steps ahead; he's always in the moment.

@@davedoylecomms5687 I think it's almost impossible to be several steps ahead when you've got to think about what you're saying and especially when you've got to keep to the beat. Just like good standup comedians are extremely quick-witted, he's extremely good and fast at thinking of what sentences rhyme with the one he just said.

This guy is good, but Harry Mack is the GOAT when it comes to freestyle rapping.
I'll check Harry Mack out, but I'll preface that even if his flow and lyricism are better, unless he has an encyclopedic knowledge of apparently every topic like Chris does, I can't really say he's the GOAT.
There's a difference between rhyming some simple words together in a beautiful flow vs making coherent lines from obscure concepts, ya know?
@@ruairim2283 Oh trust me, you'll be surprised just how good H. Mack is. He literally can freestyle songs with choruses and it's all coherent and makes sense.

@@marksalza1114 different styles man, Harry Mack usually uses simpler language, but switches the cadence of his rap more, like sometimes going ultra fast, which I don't see Chris doing much. Chris does seem more intellectual and takes a lot of complex suggestions I don't see H Mack usually taking, like genuinely making it tougher for him. Anyways, a collab from both would be awesome.

One of the most impressive things about this guy's freestyle rapping is they really are made up on the spot unlike all the other so-called "freestyle rappers" who write things down in advance, memorise it and pass it off as "freestyle".

Anyone can rap even if it sounds terrible. If you do not listen to this man's lyrics, I doubt anyone would say he is a professional rapper. What sets him apart is not his rap but his intelligence and the knowledge he communicates off the cuff in such a short time. Harry Mack, on the other hand, is a rapper. You can be drunk or high af, yet one could still recognize that HM is a professional rapper. HM's freestyle is other worldly.

Edit to add that I heard Harry mack do some lines about Chris Turner in a rap on RUclips recently. I think it was in the yt livestream celebrating Harry Mack's 2 million subscribers. It was a prompt as he was rapping and he credited Chris Turner's abilities.

maybe that's the difference between people that enjoy schadenfreude and people that enjoy humor. I think it's awesome to see someone do something you just don't expect them to be that good at.
