    I sew with a Bernina what is that small piece of fabric that you start with for?

    • @ShabbyFabrics
      @ShabbyFabrics  Год назад +1

      That's called a "leader" - we find that using "leaders and enders" with our sewing helps prevent our needle from unthreading and eliminates that nasty "thread nest" that can appear on the end of our fabrics. Hope this helps :) -Michelle

    I’m a new sewer and quilter. What is she doing with that fold of fabric that looks like it is preceding her sewing? PS. I’m really enjoying watching Tammy too. I have a hard time sticking with most of the sewing video hosts but Tammy is really easy to stick with.

      Hi Amy! Thanks so much for joining us on your new journey. The fabric that Tammy's using is called a "leader" - we find that using "leaders and enders" with our sewing helps prevent our needle from unthreading and eliminates that nasty "thread nest" that can appear on the end of our fabrics. Hope this helps :) -Michelle
