@@GrottOnes I remember when this video snippet came out and it blew up through the radiohead channels. just seeing a few songs from this landmark performance was amazing in its own right

I just listened to National Anthem and with all the praise to Thom and Jonny, but Colin kills that monotone bass like a maschine, just right not too monotone yet so clear it holds this absolute wall of noise together. Great performance
Found this performance through a recommendation from the book, "This Isn't Happening: Radiohead's "Kid A" and the Beginning of the 21st Century." What a testament to the band!
Well written. Special night indeed. But: we wasn‘t unfamiliar with the new songs as many of the great ppl in the audience listened to the previous gigs in france which were available via napster back then. Strange enough: we sung the songs of kid a before its release. That was really special! Thx for postin L&P
I've heard a million versions of no surprises and this is the best one of them all, his voice is almost note perfect and better than the studio version,
Interestingly this show is the second of two nights at this venue - I was at the previous night and Jonny messed up the final section with about 15 seconds to go and they abandoned the song!
I saw Radiohead 2 weeks before 9/11 at Liberty State Park.. Incredible show.. Took a random picture before the show that had the twin towers in it.... Kid A was an unknowing harbinger of future troubles.. Amazing band, always miles ahead of the curve.
This proves how much of a live band they are...Listening to their albums for years, never really got it...Just like with the Dead and Phish. This show just flows so well. Thanks for sharing, lmk if you have a Cd quality or higher copy
while i love the transition from nude to nice dream, i just wish they would have played a full version of this nude because it sounded soo amazing.. damn
Is there any video of this performance? With this audio would be sweet.
I can't find any video of the full concert, but I found this video of only 3 of the songs performed.

You and whose army is so good when the piano isn't drowned out by guitars

Great performance
Okay gotta add a note to that performance of Everything in it's right place.
His voice has so much reverb it sounds very haunting.
Love it
Phil Selway is a fucking god on those drums dude
The way he played Morning Bell here is so fucking good, he’s genuinely like a robot on those things
Best version of Karma Police I've ever heard - piano absolutely brilliant in it and then Colin's bass at the end. What a band!

Found this through the same book! What a great read (and an amazing show).

thank you for sharing this information, that's probably also why someone in the audience shouted "nothing to fear" before pyramid song at 1:28:29
this is the first time i can hear the mellotron clearly during the climax of exit music
Ed takes the lead guitar on Bishop's robes, sounds great.

Piano at very start sounds like The Numbers.

The setlist is simply perfect!!! Those were great days
An absolutely perfect untouchable gig.
The sound is FANTASTIC. THANK YOU for posting this masterpiece!

What an impressive gig. Wonderful.

Paranoid Android is too good on this!
So fucking good
Excited for the reissue soon!!
Happy Birthday to GBCD's very own, George B!
while i love the transition from nude to nice dream, i just wish they would have played a full version of this nude because it sounded soo amazing.. damn
I was at this concert. They played Nude because there was a girl holding a poster saying “please play Nude”, it wasn’t on the setlist
@@edooslo Guess she was disappointed because actually she wanted them to strip. (badum-tss.gif)
@@edooslo how was it being there? what impression you took from the songs?
Cocktail di avanguardia
thanks!
Why wasn't this gothic rock version of In Limbo the album version!?!?
