- Following a monk as he walks through Bangkok on his morning rounds collecting alms. All over Thailand monks walk round bare foot early in the morning collecting alms. The food collected will be eaten for breakfast and then what is left over will be used for the last meal of the day which they eat before noon. There are rules about what should be offered to a monk and the appropriate way to make an offering.
Wow... look at the way the people show their respect after offering the alms. Is that what is called Humbleness. Nice video.

The people don't "pray" after giving food, they are showing respect to the monk. And they're not doing it to "get reincarnated into a better life", it's to make merit for CURRENT life. In Buddhism, reincarnating into ANY realm is a bad thing. Giving alms (pindapāta) trains your compassion (karunā), which is one of the virtues that helps you get rid of suffering (dukka).

This is the sakyamuni budhas way of humble and purest way of living .Even lord buddha himself went along the roads in india eventhough he was the only son of king Suddodana the ruler of the kindom .Dana seela bhavana is the only way to nibbana .You are blessed to offer alms to maha sanga .But be careful to wear properly before maha sangha.Nibbanam paraman sukan Nibbana is the greatest happiness May you gain highst seela samadi praggna as all enlightened arahants .🙏🙏🙏

What they will do in whole day?
How they utilise the Hours of Day given by god to man?
You are not a buddhist. There is no way that you can understand Buddhism. So, take your God with you and go your own way. No need to step in Buddist way if you don't like it.
First they did not only sleep in monastery the do Vipashyana for long hours which is impossible for us...and Taking alms ...this practice helps to monks to keep down to earth and it keep superiority ego from monks...also this practice teach people to help needy and hungry people

Thats no problem .Everybody has freedom to do as they like. This is the buddhists humble and purest way of living .you go your way.
