The original game was a bad ending. The real ending should make the world bloom with flowers and life. I hope thats that we are aiming for in the Remake.

I got angry when Sephiroth touched Aerith’s shoulder in Chapter 2 of the Remake. Like “get away from her dammit”. Over two decades and I still couldn’t over what happened Lol.
Why save her ?For me, Clerith, it's love through life and death . This is the suffering of the Cloud . This is a tragic love . Isn't that the whole point? How he wants to meet her after death, I think this will be shown even better in the remake . I am for the love of Clerith, but I think that her death is necessary. After all, it has always been so for me . He can't accept her death , he lives with Tifa , but she can't replace Aerith. This is how it looks to me . And a good end, it's banal.
Based on the fact that they've completed stripped the CA stuff out of Remake, I doubt it'll be in it now. Esp. considering the end of Intergrade, but I won't spoil. I am curious how they handle this scene though.

"The Poor Tifa" thing was just to make them stop asking. they asked again so Cait Lied Noties the exclamation marks at the end of all the sentences but when he says preacher he trails of"...." I think a darker shadow to this prediction makes it more heart wrenching.
