He's not (thankfully) a mainstream journalist, he's a musician, he gives his interviewees the space to talk, he's not just asking about when the new album's coming out; we need somebody like Steve Jones on UK TV, imagine, say Channel 4 doing a televised version of Jonesy's Jukebox? It would be must-watch television, better than BBC 4's music output, better than Six Music, although why don't they give him a show? Steve Jones is fantastic and he's doing a GREAT job. Also, he gets the people on his show: Brian May, David Coverdale, Sparks, John Cooper Clark, John Taylor, Ozzy Osbourne, most of these people don't get invited on to TV in the UK. Honestly, Steve is the best.
