This is why Howard is one the greatest interviewers ever. He could tell Henry came in expecting to get a hard time and Howard got him to relax and open up. These 2 guys are my heroes. They speak their mind and when they give their opinions and back it up with logic whether I agree with them or not.

This was actually one of Howard’s most masterful interviews. This is back before Henry calmed down and really embraced his elder statesman role. He was still kind of a loose cannon in 2001, and Howard really charmed him.

Anyhow the point of my post is The Rollins Band. Holy shit, is it a great band. I know there has been many line up changes, but I am really impressed with the material I have heard. Outstanding musicianship. Thank God for the internet, unlike the 80's and 90's everything is available to check out with the ease of typing in names on RUclips.

But he's definitely interesting. He's in such a good mood here compared to other interviews where he was already standoffish or something. I get why Maynard likes him. Unfortunately paying Howard upwards of half a billion dollars leaves no money for trivial things like good microphones for a radio station.
Henry Rollins should have had a podcast up and running before the pandemic hit, his live shows would be non existent this past year and the podcast would have let him rant.
