I just found your podcast a day ago, and the fact that you are coming for “the customer is always right” is giving me LIFE. I work in service, and yes, sometimes people are just fucking idiots.
I’m so happy you spoke about eye conact so thank you loves. You woman are truly amazing, I’m so grateful I found y’all. Eye contact is such an interesting aspect; as someone with Asperger’s, I CAN’T look often or at all at people whom I don’t like, but there comes times when I just can’t stop smiling because there is just a beautiful soul standing in front of me and eye contact comes so easily without thinking at all but then I get anxious and just stare at the floor It’s so hard for me to know what to do in these situations ‘cuz I never wish to come off rude or weird
I worked at a restaurant in a casino of 5 years and the "customers always right" fuckery was 1000 times worse than a normal restaurant. I'm 100% with Pumps on duct taping customer's mouths

I'm a diabetes educator RN - the reduced availability of GLP1s is true. *but* you make an excellent argument - many lifesaving drugs have been difficult to get ahold of and/or afford the world over for a long time - but everyone is up in arms about Ozempic not being available to DM patients. They're just jealous!

I highly agree about muting people on instagram and social platforms. I was guilty of “over posting” years ago, but now I’m more low key and will post a funny meme or food photo every now and then 😅 but the things that trigger me I completely mute them and silence lots of posts from people and don’t even think twice about it. Oh yeah, I love wearing shirts with words when I don’t know what else to wear. I have a shirt that says “Empowered women, Empower women” on it and this lady who was serving me food at a buffet complimented me on it and said “that’s true, I hear that” 😂
I got kicked out of a men's Restroom at a concert recently. I think someone's wife complained 😂 because none of them men seemed to care. I was just minding my business and didn't want to have an accident waiting for the ladies room.
In Australia there were too high a percentage of people who got the gut paralysis and stopped pooping and a mystery brown substance eventually came out their mouths. I didn't poop for 6 days and it scared the (figurative) crap out of me.
I work in the auto insurance industry and I’d like to compare us to the ‘sheriffs of the sky’ just because we deal with people who believe they’re entitled to car insurance even after 3 DUIs and 5 speeding tickets… We don’t tolerate people who lose their crap on us for denying them or even if they do qualify for insurance but degrade us or even call me “sweetie”. so I just flat out hang up on them once that crap starts.
I used to be a manager at Starbucks and I had to deal with entitles assholes daily. When they would talk to my employees shitty. I would slide up nudge my employee over and look that asshole dead in the eye and say “you don’t get to talk to my employees like that!” Then they would ask to speak to the manager and I would politely say “I’m the manager!” With a huge smile on my face 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I used to work at a bar that was Sooo busy, we didnt care if ppl were offended. Unless you were waving your money at me, I wouldnt look at you. There was a sign on the wall that said, This ain't Burger King and you cant have it your way!!

Interesting what you say about the gay kid going onto Tik Tok and he realised he wasnt alone. For years I had been searching to understand myself more and then I came across a huge community of people with ADHD. I suffered most of my life with it, low concentration, mood swings, hyper activity and then crashing. Took me 29 years to figure it out. I wasnt one of the adderal abusers FYI, i probably would have done better in school if I had.
That's all good but don't self diagnose. A lot of content on social media has ko gatekeeping and the bad part about that is that so much of it is nonsense. So if you suspect it is ADHD, get some professional to verify

Yes! The customer is not always right. I’ve had guests/customers bitching about policies. Now I have really bad anxiety, I freeze when I hear yelling. I’ve had it!
LOVE you guys but I do have to take offense to your take that diabetic patients shouldn't be upset that they can't get semaglutide injections. I'm diabetic and I can't get it right now. You have no idea how hard it is to manage this disease and when a new clinical intervention comes along, those of us who struggle would love to try it to see if it makes a difference.
One thing I don’t understand is why single room bathrooms (one toilet in a room with a locked door) are gendered. I can understand that some people want a gendered space in multi-toilet bathrooms, but not single room bathrooms. Like, what’s the point?

I was like.. oh. Okay. Well, I give up. Lol
You know what, men really don't have the bathroom thing, so, while it's weird seeing women in the wrong bathroom (pray nobody is taking a shit, btw), I am ok with them going to the men's bathroom. Know the peril, tho: if there's someone taking a shit, all bets are off, you might listen and smell the foulest stuff you've ever witnessed.
