Hi bud, can I just suggest something. When you wrap the line around the shank start wrapping in the opposite direction so the first wind isn't in the open gap of the eye, it may reduce some breakages. It probably won't matter on them tiddlers you catch but it might on proper fish. 🤣😂
Great run through Mr May. Any suggestions on how to tie these if you have sausage fingers and all the hook tying capabilities of a rhino?? Asking for a friend 😉
About 5.5lb breaking strain, diameter is just the standard way of doing it in the match fishing world now. All line will have both diameter and breaking strain marked on them so easy enough to convert it.
Has Andy just done 100% more prep than last year!? 🐳😂😂😂
being a fluff chucker I use my fly vice to hold the hook makes it dead easy to fix the band or spike at whatever length you want
100% I’m the same much easier with the vice !!!
Great idea thanks, I'm gunna try that.

Me too mate...Had a few years away from fishing now too old and doddery to do things I used to consider easy 😂
Buy them ready tied
Far easier to buy them ready made. Tried doing myself but they just fall apart... Heart bypass surgery is easier
.16 line why dont that say pounds no more. Whats
.16 in pounds
