On our last trip away we had to make a sharp left hand turn into the site and fortunately noticed in time that the near side caravan was dangerously close to the gate post so had to do some tricky reversing at a sharp angle which damaged the pads in the stabiliser. I should have raised the stabiliser handle to loosen the tow ball - didn’t know that 🙄. Drove back home with sweaky hitch.
I've had a squeaky hitch a few times, something in hot weather & sometimes when we get it back from the dealer - I presume because he has a dirty ball (!) but I don't think a squeaky hitch necessarily means it's on its way out or has been damaged.
Can I ask what the problem with the motor mover was at the beginning of your vlog? We arrived on a CL yesterday and used the mover but half way through, it stopped working.
We're pretty sure it's radio interference but don't know what from, had the engineer out loads of times and occasionally it happens in site. At least now we know about it, I just keep my finger on the button and eventually it starts working again.
