Thanks for the video. I'm weighing up restoring my dad's 2008 A3 cabrio. Currently own a much newer MK6 Golf Cabrio in much better condition so used to the platform. Unsurprising to see the state of the boot loom, sadly. I do exactly the same with eBay and cross checking 😂
Great tip on search !!! I’d always go a bit higher in price and test the water and leave your self some margin for discounting and if does not sell within a week then chip it down I know the car is not to everyone’s taste with the black wheels and grille but it just maybe what a customer is looking for. Better to give a customer options Great vid and good bargain for you guys
TT wheels...should be 17" wheels from factory...only the top spec a3 Cabs came with 18", same with the Golf mk6 Cabs.....love my MK6 cabriolet, not a fan of the A3 cabriolets. 12 seconds for roof is spot on, can also be operated upto 17mph, you don't have to be stationary. Best stuff to waterproof the roof is autobrite fabri sheild, 9-12 month protection
Joe that little Audi looks a beauty. Although a little bit drug dealer’s car with the badge and them black wheels ( I’m old). But once you have worked your magic I’m sure you will make a healthy profit. Thank you for the great ebay tip. Looking forward to your next one👍👍
😂I really don't know if it's just me but from a distance does it look strange 😅, it looks like it been squashed 😂apologies if I'm being a idiot 😂, but for the price seems very reasonable 🎉🎉
This isn't a good looking car but it's not particularly offensive to look at and it'll make a nice car for someone. It's not a Chrysler PT Cruiser that's for sure. The worst looking car in history. p.s. the wheels do look like they come from TT Mk 1 so I think you're right.
I will never ever buy an Audi.........even before one wrote my sport Ka off last week.....That is an awful looking thing..hate Audi's with a passion...unless it's from the 80's
A standard grill and standard colour on wheels would add a grand to value
And the 17s with good tyres would be handy to be in stock
But how much would they cost 🤔 already flipped it out for £2450 👌
@@ShiftingMetal right time of year and sun is shining - nice result
If it was my daily * would do that but not as a stock item.
Car would look a lot better with oem coloured alloys
Silver alloys would make that car look 100 time's better
Best value water proofing is products listed as tent water proofing, cheaper than the same stuff called convertible car roof water proofer.

Not a bad example.. new grill good polish valet and powder coat the wheels to silver should do it👍🏻
Hi Joe,great video, nice looking car, don't see many this shape,I do like the extras inside the car.
Thanks Steve! 👍

Already sold for 2450 😎
@@ShiftingMetal great quick profit!!! If only all sales were like that
Need to see more of that Volvo V70 in the background Joe
The gearbox is knackered sadly 🥲
For what it's worth, I prefer it without the badge.
But I also used to read Max Power magazines 😅

In my opinion it needs the wheels returning to silver and a badge on the front.

Agree with other comments needs silver wheels, keep up the good videos. Hope you win your court case😀
Thanks Jeff!
Great video nice little soft top car
love convertibles as hire cars, great fun. wouldn't want one all the time though.
Agreed!
Just bought one Finn black wheels no badges why do people do it. A few £000 back to standard must sell a lot easer The badges are expensive.
Nice little earner tbh Joe.
Spray or change the rims. Some people have no taste 😮😅
Would look 100% better with the Audi badge on the front, why would anyone remove the front but leave the back one, each to their own I guess 🤷
Great video eBay a pain in the arse
not a bad little car
Do you do a Car Vertical check ?.
I do a HPI check, carvertical dumped me 😂
Great content as always Bro good stuff👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🚘
Thanks 🙏🏼
Hideous wheels though. Need respray to silver.
Seen leggy ones around £1500. Never one at 800. Did well rob it at that. Chav’d up owner should have never painted the bits black

Looks very squat with the big chunky wheels!
