- This F10 M5 Competition came to us to have our tried and tested Stage 2 Package consisting of catless downpipes and ECU tune. We also fitted an Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust, carried out a DCT Oil Service and changed and gapped the Spark Plugs.
All this means the car is sounding and performing vastly better than stock, and the maintenance keeps the car running as it should be.

Is there anyway of revving past 4k at standstill with a M6?
With an ECU tune, we can raise the static rev limit if the customer so desires.

So what happens when they go for an MOT? Surely it would fail emissions unless they're on good terms with a shady tester. I've heard of people putting cats back on just for the MOT but I've never understood why you would go to so much trouble rather than fitting a sports cat, it just seems like a massive pain in the arse for a little extra power and noise or am I missing something?

Hi Guys, you know I’m a positive contributor however the exhaust tips don’t look like they are identically placed each side relative to the bodywork which would do my OCD in 😉 and please ask the owner to go back to a stock rear lights, white lights look 🤢 (IMO!).
Believe the owner bought the car with these lights fitted.
Exhaust tips were adjusted with the assistance of the customer until he was happy, and by feeling gaps between the diffuser.

How much for f10 m5 oil service and DCT oil and filter change?
Engine Oil + Filter is £250, DCT oil and filters is £764.
@@EvolveAutomotive how often is the DCT change recommended?
@@kiftikhar would say if you can do it every 60k. Doesn't hurt to do it too be honest
It’s a must do by 100k, but would be thinking about it after 60k/10 years.
The gearbox will continue to operate, but fresh oil and filters will keep it operating at its best. We have seen failures that could be accredited to blocked filters or worn oil.

I feel the stock exhaust sounded better. Had more of a deeper V8 tone

Not sure why everyone is so amazed with downpipes. It's just a freaken pipe. And what the fuck is up with bmw designing and engine with the down pipes in the middle of the block?
You should read up on a Hot V configuration engine and the benefits it has.

M5 what a monster!
I've never seen a hot-V car worked on before. I figured it would be a nightmare, and that engine bay does look super busy, but the turbos drain nicely, you don't have to get under the car to do an O2 sensor, and with the catless pipes, I suppose the under-hood temps do decrease to a not-so-heinous level.
That must get so hot under the hood with those cats right there
Damn so those downpipes are spose to come out by headers/exhaust manifold arent they? I dont know much about F10 but im starting to like them more. Those downpipes in the engine bay. Damn thats crazy.
