- With our Stage 3 F90 M5 Build completed with thanks to RK Autowerks it was time to tune the car for the new turbo setup and improved methanol injection.
We completed a lot using road logging, but went to see our friends at MSL Performance to get the car strapped to the dyno and get some power figures! We also take this opportunity to further tune the car for Race Fuel.
With the car tuned we are ready for VMAX!

GGs all, some hard work going into this one for sure. That mid range boost, thats mad-crazy! As per previous vidz on the engine build, it will be interesting to see if it get close to high figures suggested. Fingers crossed

@@mk2nathan no the gearbox is made for max 850nm its not the RS one that cann hold alomst 1300NM
@@cita5998 Yeah well, but being realistic, if it officially holds 850Nm it's going to hold around around 1000 without problems
@@JohnPrello not fo long. Thats why all good tuners change the internals of the gearbox.
@@cita5998 They change it because they fear it exploding, not because everybody know it is. Gearboxes are made with insanely high security factors. The 500Nm ZF from the M140i is driving around with almost 800Nm and does not get crushed..

That bmrs a beasty thanks for sharing did you ever get to the issue with the launch control from the last video you did at the track launch wasn't launching as it normally did for you. must be the fastest M5 in the uk that beasty love it.
Haven’t had a chance to research it, and at this point probably won’t be launching just to be kind to drivetrain. No need to overly stress a component when a regular launch works just fine
Can you please tell me what gear do you use to do your pull to get the max power? Sorry if it's a dump question but i dont know?

Do you think that a pair of gtx3071r turbos could also hit that power figure as two of them would be rated at 1300hp and 1300/1.2 is 1083hp so theoretically it should work and spool up faster. What do you think? Very cool build by the way.

Imran - this thing is mental and I love the subtle look you've gone for with the mods. Am I right in thinking yours in a non-OPF car with it being one of the first F90's? Does the OPF pose challenges for the later cars - or does it just get deleted?!
Yes early Non-OPF car.
On later cars you would need to remove it to get to Stage 2 anyway just like cats.
How many hp to the wheels now with a race fuel tune and proper ignition timing then?
