    You really know how to play up your coloring with your makeup. You always look glowing and your eyes stand out. I also like cream and stick eyeshadow. I find them to be faster to use in the morning. I use the Lancome liquid ones and the Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, and Nars stick eyeshadows. I have not tried either of those that you used, but now I want to!

    I love The Saem liquid shadows - they blend easily and stay on without creasing even without a primer. And they are so cheap (especially considering the quality).
    Great tutorial, thank you! Your tips are always so useful.

    Stephanie, my second time I've had to come back a day later with updates on your advice. I tried using eyeshadow primer again with the cream shadow and it worked so much nicer. I tried once and wasn't sure about the results. Also I never knew you could actually blend the cream shadow out and I tried it and it does look so much more polished! Thanks for all of your informative videos!

    I find cream eyeshadows are easier ans quick yo work with. Recently have been trying Mallys sticks, love Thistle and Sand, and Cargo Glacier for a shimmer in the center of the lid. I have Cocoa which is really dark from Mally and seems to be hard to blend with the Sand on the lid first. I'll keep playing. Definitely will check out Cold Copper! I like satin shimmer, not heavy glitter that ages me. Thanks.

      😂 Guilty as charged! I hope you like it! 😘

    • @MissChismosa
      @MissChismosa 7 лет назад

      Yes, I do! I may need to return Cold Copper, as it looks too cool on my lids... it's so odd that it looks so bright and light gold-ish on you but on me, it takes on a colder, more taupe like color. It's pretty but maybe a bit too dark for me. I also have Rose Ashes and oh man, that one is my JAM. So, so pretty! And once I learned now to get it on correctly (for me, no primer, no powder, just plain lid or else it gets a weird texture and looks funky), it is easy peasy and so pretty. It lasts all day and doesn't crease. Truly amazing. I tried drug store versions and they all crumble and crease and are messy but the Armani shadow really works. I just bought an Inglot liquid shadow in color #13 thinking that it will show on my lids as the Cold Copper shows on yours in this video.
      Love your videos!

    • @StephanieMarie
      @StephanieMarie  7 лет назад

      +SackOfKittens Isn't the formula incredible! Nothing compares IMO! It's funny bc I have Rose Ashes and it's fine but CC works so much better for me...in every video I have it on I get asked about my eyes! But Rose Ashes is just ok on me...it's not as stunning for some reason! Lol!! I'm glad you like the formula!!

    hello Stephanie. I am also very much into liquid shadows lately. I think it's such a gorgeous, easy look. I was using the stila magnificent metal glitter and glow liquid shadows(love them) Recently i came across the new nyx lingerie eye tint liquid shadows. They are so pretty, and they don't crease. They have many beautiful shade selections. I bought all the shades at my local ulta. You can also order them online. NYX also just came out with a matte version, but I haven't tried those. I prefer more of a shimmer, glitter or sheen on my actual eyelid. I also use bronzer for my transition color when I use these liquid eye tints. I haven't used the Armani ones that you are using in your video, but the nyx ones seem to be a great dupe from what I could tell. Hope you get a chance to check them out. Oh and one thing ... ULTA always has buy one get one 50% off on nyx products.

    I love these 2 looks, they are so flattering on you (I think you could smear make up over your face and you would look great, you are very pretty) and I am tempted to buy a cream tint or two and give it a go. I can remember using similar to the Armani ( but can't remember the brand) in my late teens and early twenties and it was SO easy as you have said. Just out of interest the word 'glace' from the By Terry Stylo Marron Glace is pronounced 'Glas-say'. Have you ever had glace fruit? It's pronounced the same way. I love watching all your videos, you have a very calming voice and easy manner as well.

    I really am attracted to cream eye shadows. I'm still figuring out how to use them. But I like them in stick and pot form. I have Maybelline tattoos, elf smudge pots, Trestique a cpl small sticks a Laura Mercier in a Rose Gold and Flower Beauty in Rose Gold. I really like the Maybelline pots in Bad to the Bronze all over one shadow look. Also got Tough as taupe recently. I have a cpl LE Maybelline tattoos. I love that r Spring colors. I fell bad when I for get about them. I have case some pplnised to buy them for fishing tackle to org into little sections in a clear plastic boxes. I bought them for makeup, earrings, jewelry storage and org.also for makeup singles in a bigger one. Cream and powder. There is a copy of it on my IG page. Joycehchitwood I have also used to org eye brushes. It so versatile. Because the little little boxes can slide the pieces in and out and make them small or bigger. I may need another one. I know they sell them for crafting now. They close up tight and keep everything all org. I'm looking at a better way to org my eye pencils and all the different colors I have. I'm not sure yet? But that might be an idea. I had them standing up in a cup like thing. And in another holder but it makes it hard to grab something quickly without rambling thru them all. I would love to see more videos on how to wear cream shadows. This one helped me out ALOT. Know that I can use a little shadow helps tremendously. Thanks so much

      Stephanie Marie Oh Yeah that will be Great. I went and got some of mine out and was searching and playing. Lol. I want to find a good way to organize my eye pencils and crayons. But mostly eye pencils. Because they get all bunched up and it's hard to read what one they r. Especially when I don't have my glasses on. Then I have to put them on look and see. Right now I have them spread out on a silver tray I got from Dollar Tree. But I do know think one of those tackle boxes I can pull out the sides of and make just the right sizes and have them separated by color too. I don't know if u can find one like I already I have that I love for my creams and singles. But I will look and see. Thanks for helping me work that out. Lol.

    So you use an eye primer with these?

      Hi Erin! Yes, I talked about that right at the start of the voiceover. 🙂 If you have trouble with creasing, it can be tremendously beneficial. They still apply beautifully over a primer (and after setting the primer).

    Aren't those Armani ones great? I have been using them for ages. I bought the duo with the mascara at the Nordstrom sale. I think you misnamed the first swatch; I know the first one is not Rose Ashes.

      +D Smith It's Gold Ashes. I misspoke. My bad!

    I really want to try the Armani now! I have a Bobby Brown and Laura Mercier stick and both crease on me🙁. Anyone with suggestions as to how to wear these without creasing?

      I always suggest using a primer and setting the primer with translucent powder or a neutral shadow (as stated in the video). It really helps with creasing and wear time. :)

    I love cream shows and maybe should give these a try, although I am hesitant about buying the luxury makeup products. I struggle with the price tag!! On another note, I wonder if you know anything about RUclips now putting two and even three ads in videos? I am often getting not only an ad at the beginning (one about 3 minutes long!) and an ad after about 5 minutes. Do you as the creator get double credit for this type of thing? I imagine that RUclips wants people to pay $20/mo for no-ad viewing so they are making it less enjoyable to watch for free.

    How long would you say a tube of the Armani tints last with regular use? Thanks

      I don't have an answer for that since I don't use it every single day. I use them a decent amount and they last a good amount of time!

      It’s not dark at all. It’s a beautiful silvered taupe. I love it! 😘

    I arrived to this video after noticing that my "lip polish" is a cream eyeshadow, damn you gotta read the product description before buying it.
