Awesome!! Thank you for the thorough video!
This is the best video on the topic. Thank you for doing this.
We are so glad this was helpful for you! Ya we couldn't really find a whole lot of videos on thus when we first started doing it.
Awesome video!! Thank you!
Very nice set up... can't wait to see the throttle video for this... guessing it will be in part 2.
Yeah we actually waiting on parts to complete it but we will definitely post a video of what we installed to finish it!
Interesting adjustable wrench/pry bar. Just needs a hammer!
It actually has an small enlarged hammer head section as well, I use this tool on the boat more times than i care to admit haha
Cool! I did this on my Saturn inflatable, using an ePropulsion spirit 1.0 electric.
Best vid on this topic thanks so much
Thanks glad it helped, tried to be thorough in explaining
Well done
Great info, thanks! Waiting for my kit with 12' cable; can it be cut shorter?
Hey great job, will make piloting much easier and as you say, at a great budget cost, as for the seat maybe nick the wife's plastic step-up step ha ha, keep it up great video, all the best, Al
Yeah it'll be a nice easy ride, and i already built an aluminum seat around the fuel can that'll be in the next control video. Thanks glad you liked it filmed this one last minute on a late night lol
That’s cool man, I’m definitely going to do it on my Newport vessel, but I have a question? What’s the part that makes it move left and right? All I see is the cable connected but does that come with the kit? Just curious on how it moves left or right? Is the motor sitting on something
Do you think you could tell me how you attached your consol to the boat I got one and wanna know if I just screw ur directly onto in
We have a secondary floor on ours so we screwed directly into the fiberglass floor with fairly large screws!
Also Trying to figure out how to secure the center console to the rib. I have an aluminum hull without a secondary floor and i dont want to drill a hole on the hull.
@@am932 Im having the same issue, dont know how to attach it without going through the hull
Does it matter what motor or anything
That's in not sure, I would assume most 9.9/10hp and up would work but can't speak on smaller outboards. If unsure with a particular outboard you ca always call local outboard shop should be able to look up if there is "remote controls" option for the outboard
Where did you buy the console from?
We got it on amazon but I think the one we ordered is no longer available.
