Are you trying to play pc games with gyro because I heard it's not compatible with pc games. I think you'll have to test the gyro feature first. Try finding an application or website that helps in doing so. I usually use the game controller tester app in windows but I don't recall ever seeing a gyro option, I could be wrong as my gamepad doesn't have gyro. If yours does then it may get detected in the app. Try it.
Can I have some help, I use a wired Turtle Beach Recon controller with an OTG adaptor but my controller dosnt turn on and it works normally what can I do? My phone is a Realme GT Master Edition
hi. Is that gamepad made specifically for an xbox? Did you try playing Asphalt 9 using the controller since that game does not require any mapping at all? If Asphalt 9 works then this should work too. Else this gamepad is not compatible with the phone.

Make both the L stick and R stick smaller in size to fit the circular area shown in the screen. By default the size is big for both that needs to be modified. That worked for me.

Hi. Nope. You can login however you like using this method. And yes, bluetooth controllers should work even without any dongle if it is compatible with your phone and other games already.

Oh so you mean in the apex game we can run only while swiping to the top? Assign a different key for that area. So while you jog by using the mapped left stick use that other assigned button see if that helps

yeah it should work just fine as long as the gamepad connects to the phone/tablet via bluetooth. my controller requires an adaptor to connect which is why I used it.

Hi. Essentially it should work since the Interstellar wired gamepad is basically the wired counterpart of Cosmic Byte Nebula wireless gamepad and the mechanics for all these gamepads are the same. But I would recommend the wireless Ares since you can then play on a bigger screen from a distance as well, the connectivity is great and it has a C port instead of micro usb. @@valpuiasailo9995 It's no problem at all. And no, there is no delay. I have not encountered any yet either for the Ares controller. It's quite responsive. In fact I made 2 other videos showing wherein I tested Ares and also showed the latency received. It's pretty good.

I did everything as said and mantis got connected with usb debugging settings all working but my mantis app is not working man , when i go to add a key and input any button in controller it doesnt detect any thing. Iam on Xiaomi mi 11 x pro with android 12.
which gamepad are you using? it could be an issue with 1 of 3 things: 1. gamepad not compatible, 2. android 12 phone or 3. xiaomi phone. try restarting the phone once that worked for me in the beginning.
@@HarryWT I did restart but did not work. Iam using claw shoot gamepad but i think gamepad has no issues since it already gets connected with the app. I have a feeling that android 12 might be the problem.

As far as I know, if the mobile game supports gyro then the controller should pick it up automatically else you would have to configure it in the game's gyro settings

Sure I'll help. Let me first know does the PS3 controller support your phone? It has to first support your phone for it to support the game. For example, Xbox controllers don't work with every device which is why special xbox controllers are made for devices even for phones.

@@retrohellium oh man....see i think apex is made only for ps4/5 or xbox controllers, not for ps3. but this method should technically work if you are able to play other games on your phone with it. other than that I dont think there's any other way to play with your ps3 controller. you may buy a separate budget controller just for apex and other such games though. i made a review of cosmic byte ares controller the one i used and its great and doesn't even put a hole in the pocket. check it out if interested.

ohh man. did it work yet? i'm not sure if android 8 can even support a controller. i think you would have to enable it manually using a pc from what i understand. you might need to take help of some articles online in order to enable the debuggin option. which controller did you buy by the way?

@@retrohellium oh man....see i think apex is made only for ps4/5 or xbox controllers, not for ps3. but this method should technically work if you are able to play other games on your phone with it. other than that I dont think there's any other way to play with your ps3 controller. you may buy a separate budget controller just for apex and other such games though. i made a review of cosmic byte ares controller the one i used and its great and doesn't even put a hole in the pocket. check it out if interested.

@@therobingaming9356 oh ok. At 1:45 if you scroll down you'll get to see 2 more options to connect. One with another phone and one with a pc. You can try any one of those as well to get this working. Else you can try the octopus application which also works for some people.

ohh man. did it work yet? i'm not sure if android 8 can even support a controller. i think you would have to enable it manually using a pc from what i understand. you might need to take help of some articles online in order to enable the debuggin option. which controller did you buy by the way?

No worries. Do you have a spare android phone or a laptop? There are a total of 3 ways by which you can start using Mantis. All the 3 methods can be seen at 1:43. Hope it works for you.

This happened with me in the beginning too. I restarted the phone and redid the procedure a 2-3 times then it worked. Try that

Try restarting the phone and then redoing the entire steps. Happened with me once as well in the beginning then i restarted and it worked.
I dont have android 11, when i use mantisbuddyforwindows the tutorial says i need to open ActivateBuddyWifi.bat. But the file isnt there?
After extracting the .rar folder are you getting all other files except activatebuddywifi.bat? Check the hidden files maybe it's hidden somehow.

@@SFearox I think they updated the method but forgot to update the steps involved. I see there's a new file named "GamepadProWifiBuddy.bat" did you try that instead? The name seems to differ only. Let me know.
