My car doesn't have any WIFI maybe that's why I couldn't find anything for it. However, for Bluetooth, there are a lot of options none of which seem to disable it completely.

I think your car screen got an update. If that's the case then you can either look into the settings to disable split screen or reach out to a local technician at your service center to try and get the previous software version.

the only setting I change is bass which is mostly on 5, nothing else is changed ever.

only some formats work, mp4 worked for me. try using same video with different formats in the same pendrive to confirm for your car.

Hope you are enjoying your new device. In order to go full screen, you would have to change the car's screen's settings. It has nothing to do with this device. In your car, go to settings of the screen itself and there should be an option to enable/disable split screen feature. It's a new functionality added to kia and other car brand models. Check if the screen is on the latest software version or not else you might have to even visit the service center to update the software. Wifi does not switch on automatically? If you are connecting to phone's hotspot and in the uhd wifi settings, see if auto connect is enabled or not.

Auto connect is on in wifi then also it gets switch off and in sltos split screen is already unchecked then slso not playing on full screen. And as for the other wifi issue, perhaps its an issue with the device itself, please reach out to customer care and they should be able to guide you to a proper resolution.

Hi. This device is just to connect an HDMI device such as a gaming console or something of that sort. I understand you wish to use those apps but, unfortunately, none of them work anymore, I've tested thoroughly. There is a setting in the car screen itself after you unplug any carplay device. Check the option to remove split screen that worked for me.

Glad it worked for you! Unfortunately, not all the apps would work now with the latest android auto versions. Regarding full screen, there is an option now in car's screen settings. Check the settings of the screen which allows split screen and that should let you use full screen feature too.

I think the solution might be in the developer settings of your car's head unit which, after you have accessed, you can then locate the relevant option to enable/disable such devices. Which car model are you using?

@@HarryWT I have a VW Golf Mk6 with aftermarket Head unit. Honestly not sure how i could do that. but it definitely detected a Carplay on the bluetooth settings of the device.

@@Jasper-qn1mo ohh ok. these devices are not really made for aftermarket screens as far as I know. Probably this is the reason why. Unfortunately, only you can now check the settings on the unit. See if you are able to access the developer settings on it. Maybe there is something mentioned in it's user manual.

Yeah in order to pair a bluetooth device in HDMI mode, you first need to pair it inside your car. Connecting the mouse to the tv will not pair it to the ottocast device. So the 1st step is to pair the mouse in the car and then use it on any other hdmi device.

Unfortunately, these don't seem to work on the latest android auto and phone android versions. Still actively looking for a permanent solution but no luck yet apart from android boxes such as this one: ruclips.net/video/rbzUF1I1hSo/видео.html
