I literally tried fashioning one of these back in 2007 when SUPER SKINNY JEANS were super popular-- and I was selling them so I had to wear them. I fashioned two panty liners with magazine subscription cutouts in between. Worked like a charm with no bulge, lol

Bill Hader's performance here is hilarious. His first line is absolutely perfectly delivered and he made a good decision to become excited upon seeing the bulge at the end.

You have to remember that SNL uploaded a lot and I mean a lot of videos in 2013. There are a lot of videos that have very few views and well YT wants people to watch more SNL. Though I have been watching SNL clips for about a year now and there are still a lot of them to go. I have seen a number of clips I have watched already.
If you judge it by the year it was posted, the entirety of SNL took place in 2013. They posted A LOT that year.

I don't think the point of the sketch was that the "dudes were into it". seemed to me to be a commentary on the level of social stigma men confer to normal things like body hair, camel toe, periods, etc. when they happen to women, but buldges and hairy legs on men are just fine
