Shoot me a PM some time so we can get some beers and wings and nerd out on suspension spreadsheets. I’ve done a lot of this stuff with building Jeep 3 and 4-links and on my Mazda2 for weight transfer calculations. There’s a lot of stuff that isn’t talked about in any chassis handling books (that I’ve found) such as caster jacking and wheel recession.
Stephen great disclaimer Flaming River 12.5:1 steering rack is Great IMO for road course and quick reaction/correction/control... Other than that I just use Maximum Motorsports parts & recommendations -- Lazy... Happy Holidays ~
@@RinerAutomotive Cool. I autocross a 2002 Mustang GT so I'm always interested in what others with similar cars are doing. I've definitely had the outer tire wear you mentioned even running about 3.5 degrees of negative camber.
Neither, just like to build. I may break down and buy their kmember one day but we'll see. But originally yes due to C-Prepared rules, but CAM rules are open for suspension
I am ready to do sla to my foxbody Looking to build my own much like yours. Modded stock k member and arms. How about the brackets you have designed. I can easily make up my own coil mount? I do not have instagram

That's kinda funny my next video is actually about caster jacking and other benefits of caster

Thanks for the steering rack recommendation. MM makes great parts and what I run for rear suspension. Happy holidays!
Very interested in this project. It would be great to see a list of the resources (books, videos, websites, etc.) you found most helpful. Thanks
Yea I can probably do that

Yea I think that is just how mustangs with stock k members behave (if yours is still stock)
So interesting, would you let me know program or analyzer which you show up in your video?
It's Performance Trends Suspension Analyzer
I’m guessing you’re not using MM parts up front for class rules or budget?

what software is that and is it free?
Performance Trends Suspension Analyzer. It's not free but does offer a free trial.
@@RinerAutomotive thank you, appreciate it
Would you be interested in selling me your cad files for the plates you had cut to hold the upper arm and coil over?
Right now they are in a constant state of revision and I haven't finished the coil over mount.
