    Hamza, thank you.
Today I woke up at 5:00 A.M. and I fully completed all of my morning routine.
As I was eating breakfast with my family; a healthy breakfast I made myself, I cried.
I didn't cry because I was thinking about some cringe thing I did a long time ago, or because I only recently started self improvement (around a year ago).
I cried because today I have felt more joy than any video game, any p0rn video, any degenerate show or red piller made me feel.
    So thank you Hamza.
Even though you weren't the one who made myself go to the gym, or the one who had me eat healthy or cured my depression, you are the one who guided me and enlightened me to the path to joy.
    So thank you Hamza. ❤

The small tasks really do add up. I used to be a fairly competitive mid-distance runner. The most important part of training mid-distance is running many miles per week in order to improve your aerobic capacity, so you have more endurance (speed training and lactate threshold is proven to be less important than # of easy miles). When some people are just starting training, they start off with a 6 or 7 miles run, feel super burnt out, and then they don't run for 3 days. Then they feel guilty about not training, do another 6 mile run, and not run for another 3 days, leading to a total of 12 miles in a week. A smarter beginner runner will start out with a shorter 2 mile run, which is hard for them, but manageable. The next day, they feel kind of sore, so they only do 1 mile, but they stick with it, and run 2 or 3 miles for the rest of the week, and end up at 16 miles for the week. Then they gradually build their runs up over the coming months to 3, 4, 5, or even 6 miles per run, and can hit 40 miles per week, while the overzealous runner has already quit the team. I didn't know anything about discipline back then, but intuitively did this, and it shows that Hamza's teachings in this video really can apply to anything in life.

A journey in which I upgrade myself a little bit everyday, and watching this video itself has gained me a lot of wisdom, feels like I have unlocked a new room to level up in life. Ideas like eat the frog, power of compounding, habit tracker, these have typically grabbed my attention and feel a lot promising than any other thing in my life. It seems like such a simple solution in hindsight, yet it's so easy to forget when you only process your problems in your head (Just goes to show how powerful journaling is). This entire video was incredible and the timing of it is perfect. Thank you and your editors for all the hard work and value you provide us all for FREE. ❤️

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:00 💡 Procrastination leads to feelings of regret and anxiety, while discipline pays off in the long run.
02:23 💡 The guide aims to help viewers become more disciplined and consistent in their daily routines and goals.
04:30 💡 Understanding the difference between motivation, discipline, and willpower is crucial for building discipline effectively.
08:01 💡 Discipline is an ultimate act of self-love, leading to personal growth and respect for oneself.
10:14 💡 One should deserve the consequences of their actions; discipline involves making choices that lead to desirable outcomes.
15:36 💡 True discipline lies in performing small daily tasks consistently, overcoming ego-driven resistance.
20:04 💡 Starting with small, seemingly insignificant tasks is the training ground for building discipline, akin to leveling up in a video game.
20:32 💪 Discipline begins with acknowledging that you are not above small tasks and habits. Destroy ego and embrace the discipline needed for daily habits.
21:16 🚀 Start with one daily habit that requires discipline, like making your bed or keeping your room clean. Use a habit tracker to monitor your progress.
21:59 🎯 To level up your discipline, focus on specific micro tasks related to your bigger goals. Identify current weaknesses and constraints to make further progress.
23:38 👉 Consistently working on small micro tasks is key to continuous improvement. Gradually turn them into habits to achieve long-term success in your goals.
26:38 📅 Create a habit tracker and add specific micro tasks related to your goals. Use discipline to overcome resistance when working on these tasks daily.
32:05 💔 Lack of discipline leads to unfulfilled potential, poor performance, and disappointment in yourself and those around you. Embrace discipline to achieve success and provide for your family.
40:04 🐸 Wake up early or stay up late to work on the most important, hardest task (Eat the Frog) first thing in the day when no one can disturb you.
44:59 🎯 Identify the highest leverage task for your work or studies and dedicate focused time to it without distractions.
51:07 💡 Prioritize the task that means a lot to you and provides fulfillment, rather than following external validation or other influencers' desires.
52:55 🌟 Focus on your dream life, which involves working hard on something meaningful and contributing to humanity, rather than just pursuing external success.
57:07 🤔 Reflect on your true desires and purpose in solitude, away from external influences, and align your efforts with what genuinely matters to you.
58:47 🏋️ Purpose and avoiding external desires: Find your internal purpose rather than following the desires of others or seeking validation from social media. Detach from external influences to discover your true desires.
01:00:03 📝 Self-reflection for meaningful desires: Spend time away from technology and distractions, ask yourself why you desire certain things, and question the sources of those desires to align with your true purpose.
01:01:14 🌅 Mornings set the tone: Start your day with a disciplined morning routine and tackle the hardest tasks first. Creating a good morning routine can lead to a better overall life.
01:03:31 💯 Pursue excellence in all areas: Set higher standards for yourself in various aspects of life, such as cleanliness, appearance, and interactions with others. Improving these areas will positively impact your overall success.
01:06:58 🎯 Overcoming perfectionism with discipline: Perfectionism can hinder progress; fight against it by taking action and setting higher standards. Find an accountability partner to help you overcome perfectionist tendencies.
01:10:57 💪 Discipline in health and fitness: Embrace hard work and push yourself to achieve greater fitness levels. Continually challenge yourself to avoid plateauing and maintain progress in your fitness journey.
01:17:32 🏋️ Starting a new fitness challenge can help you stay motivated and push your limits.
01:19:10 🏃 Physical fitness can positively impact other areas of life, such as work, relationships, and happiness.
01:19:39 🎮 Making fitness a fun and playful experience can lead to long-term enjoyment and motivation.
01:20:19 🧠 Discipline in fitness can help combat depression, and a shift towards childlike joy and playfulness can improve mental health.
01:21:46 🌳 Reconnecting with childlike activities, like climbing trees or jumping puddles, can improve overall well-being.
01:35:12 💪 Joining a gym and starting with any workout is better than waiting for the "perfect" plan.
01:36:47 🏋️‍♂️ Start going to the gym even if you're not 100% convinced. Exposure to the gym environment will make it less intimidating and more familiar.
01:39:35 🛡️ Don't listen to your brain's excuses for skipping workouts. Take it one step at a time, focusing on each task rather than the entire workout.
01:50:00 🍽️ Educate yourself on nutrition and diet. Consider periods of intense discipline and work mode, followed by periods of relaxation and indulgence.
01:52:05 🎓 Watch the lecture "Fat Chance 2.0" on RUclips to learn about nutrition and its effects on your body.
01:53:58 💪 Balance intense work mode with intense play time. Optimize your diet during work mode and enjoy indulgence during play time.
01:54:40 🥦 Strict diet with no sugar and carbs can help boost focus and discipline.
01:55:37 🗓️ Creating a clear plan for your workout and diet can improve consistency.
01:56:03 🧘 Importance of maintaining consistent meditation practice for mental health.
01:57:28 💡 Embracing morning routines and self-improvement habits positively impacts life satisfaction.
02:00:52 ⏩ Kaizen philosophy emphasizes daily progress and consistent learning for happiness.
02:02:27 🧠 Importance of continuous learning and neuroplasticity for a fulfilled life.
02:04:07 📚 Compound effects of small habits, good or bad, can lead to significant changes over time.
02:06:25 🔄 Committing to lifelong learning and healthy habits enhances overall well-being.
02:11:06 🚙 Small daily choices, like what you listen to, impact long-term outcomes and success.
02:13:55 🏆 The Compound Effect becomes apparent in late 20s, showing the impact of small changes made over time.
02:15:03 📈 Long-term thinking and small changes lead to significant differences in health and success over time.
02:17:00 🛡️ Discipline is crucial for maintaining success and avoiding distractions.
02:21:39 ⚔️ The reward for discipline is not material success, but personal fulfillment and the pursuit of one's potential.
02:23:21 💡 Success can lead to distractions, and it's essential to stay focused on continuous improvement.
02:31:53 🔍 Reframe desires to challenge oneself, contribute, and find joy in daily routines and personal growth.
02:34:54 🤔 Create a visualization of material success: Imagine how you'd feel if you achieved your goals, but then lost everything due to complacency. Reflect on maintaining discipline even after achieving success.
02:36:06 ⚓ Success requires adapting your approach: Early on, be quick and take action like a speedboat. However, as you progress and achieve success, shift to the approach of a cruise ship-set a direction and avoid frequent course corrections.
02:39:10 📝 Develop a decision-making framework: To avoid chaotic and impulsive decisions, create a list of questions to ask yourself when making choices. This helps in making more thoughtful and rational decisions, especially as you progress on your journey.
02:45:13 👪 Leading by example: When helping others embrace discipline, focus on setting a fantastic example rather than forcing change. Lead by discipline, and let them get inspired to change on their own terms.
02:50:39 🔄 Handling setbacks: Don't change your plan drastically after a bad day. Stick to your overall plan, knowing that there will be ups and downs. If you notice a consistent lapse, define the problem, ask questions, and create a gradual plan to get back on track.
02:54:09 🧠 Writing down your thoughts and reflections can help organize your ideas and improve discipline.
02:55:20 📝 Create an "I messed up" system to document mistakes, solutions, and lessons learned for future reference.
02:57:50 💡 Build a collection of principles for life by recording problems faced and their corresponding solutions.
02:58:04 🔍 Customize your "I messed up" system to suit your preferences and tendencies for better effectiveness.
02:58:57 🌟 Remember your purpose, direction, and meaning in life to sustain motivation and discipline.
03:00:10 💖 Discipline is not only for personal goals but also for helping and benefiting others in your life and community.

      @@ranin1066 Sorry, I didn't see this. I've added a few things after re-writing it;
      0. PREREQUISITE:
Discipline can be here to stay. Bad habits are easy because they're instant. Lazy will be harder than disciplined for your future self. Discipline will be a treat to your future self, (being happy that you are you is the best reward). Do right things for what you deserve so you ACTUALLY deserve them.
      1. EGO:
1 thing/habit consistently to do everyday. Small + easy to get momentum going, (you aren't passed this).
      2. LEVELLING UP:
For big goals, find area you're lacking in. Once that area is "automated", find next area. Repeat process for excellence.
      3. WORK:
You must break a sweat to get anything of value. Wake up early + eat frog/deep work, morning routine very important, (win at morning win at life, they are the basis of everything), habit tracker, excell in all areas but no perfectionism as it is a waste of time and energy.
      4. HEALTH + FITNESS:
Will transfer to other areas of life. Child actions like going out to run solely for fun and exploring are valuable. Do things 1 step at a time rather than look at the whole goal/picture, e.g. for going to gym, grab headphones, put on gym clothes. Strict diet. Plan for diet and workouts.
      5. SELF-IMPROVEMENT HABITS:
1% better everyday, progress = happiness, keep using brain, be a life-long student (because once we reach success and tell ourselves ee don't need to learn anymore, we cannot progress or learn any further). Remember 1 or 2 habits for many years can wreck life if they're bad, vice versa with a couple good habits, can make your life incredible. Find good habit you could do for rest of life, and bad habit you could stop for rest of life. After a few years, you will be very noticeably different than majority of society.
      6. WHEN YOU ACHIEVE SUCCESS:
Where discipline matters most. Do not stop now. It is not easier at the top, it is harder. Much harder to stay balanced. Never take foot of gas, "Keep planting seeds so future self can have ripe fruit." True reward is that you embodied your purpose. True killer to be disciplined at highest level. Best enjoyment = keep disciplining yourself. Never stop good habits that contribute to the world. This is where most people forget and stop doing what got them here in the first place.
      7. REMEMBER WHY YOU STARTED:
This is personal to you. You can do do great things. Put in the work.
Final note: Learned this from Ego Is The Enemy by Ryan Holiday: Make your purpose about doing great things, not about becoming someone great. You will become great if you just focus on doing great things. This means that your purpose is about something out there, rather than just about you.
Hope this helps! Remember that if you haven't already, watch the full guide, as this is just my summary of it.

I discovered your channel through a cousin of mine 2 years ago. He told to me to get on self-improvement. But back then I was lazy and undisciplined and stuck around in an environment that hindered my growth and made me comfortable.
So I never took my cousin’s advice to get on self improvement until I went through a hardship in my life the beginning of this year that forced me out that environment. I was depressed addicted to social media and other bad habits and remembered his advice and decided to start making a change for myself this year spring.
And to be honest I haven’t been too consistent physically but I’ve improved mentally a lot from your videos and my own research and self growth and taking action against my desires. I learnt a lot this year and I still have my way to go to still to achieving the physical goals and overall goals I want but I want to thank you, my parents and family members for directing me on the right path.
So I’m going to work hard so my future self can look back and be better than how I am now and way more than I was last year.
God bless you Hamza and everyone else watching this video I pray that all your journeys physically, spiritually and mentally are fruitful and take you to places you deserve.

I looked over to my left, at my bin full of water bottles, next to my dusty computer desk and it makes so much sense. How can I be a high value man who deserves a loving wife and children if I live like slob focused only on money and gym. That's why I always fall off and revert back to being a slob. Because I fucking am one still, being fit and wealthy is merely a fraction of what it takes to be a man who deserves all those thing.

When I first encountered this channel I was lonely and broken inside. With the bit of self improvement that I did at the time I managed to get a girlfriend which actually made me left all type of self improvement.
We just broke up last week, I just stumbled on your channel again trying to really get over the pain I had in my chest. That pain is now gone thanks to you, Hamza. I feel alive and full again, I feel ambitious and most importantly determined and dedicated. I was wrong about self improvement, I was brainwashed to think that I was ok being weak emotionally and physically. That's all starting to change thanks to your words. Thanks for providing all these advices and dedicating yourself to make us better everyday. Sincerely, Thank you.

I'm 17 with ADHD (which was honestly just FUCKED less than a year ago), I just made my first money online (200$) and in the past months I have developed a smaller, but much more meaningful circle of friends, I went back to Christianity and I can say that I'm genuinely happy and content everyday. Those aren't big and fast wins and there's a lot to improve still, but thank you for leading me on the right track. Life can be a beautiful thing if you let it be.

I admit I wasn't the most focused watching this. At first I had it on in the background, then I resolved to watch it all the way through, ended up alternating between this and watching a bunch of music videos from the 70s. But nonetheless I eventually brought my attention back. This is a goldmine of valuable advice, it is genuinely inspiring that you continue to set yourself apart from other folks in this space who are perhaps less generous in the value they give to their audience. I sincerely hope (and to some extent believe, for surely it cannot go any other way) that I will develop myself as much as you have. We will both fulfil our destinies on this Earth, and hopefully in my case, beyond.

For the stage 1 of dealing with ego doing meditation has been a massive game changer. 6 months of meditation led to ability to view my own ego from 3rd person. Now I can just take a deep breath and talk with famous professors, venture capitalists and vice presidents of companies without preparation and without feeling nervous. Scrubbing the floor feels like just another thing to do not any different from talking to a professor. Meditation is like a passive buff that reduces the size of your ego

01:41:57 💰 Investing in personal training sessions at the beginning can significantly accelerate your progress in the gym.
01:43:38 🕰️ Set a consistent schedule and use habit stacking to make going to the gym a routine, enhancing consistency.
01:50:00 🥦 Prioritize a disciplined diet, educating yourself on nutrition for holistic health rather than following trendy but unsustainable diets.

02:22:35 🌟 The true reward of discipline is not just material success but personal fulfillment, progression, and realizing one's purpose. It's about the journey, not just the destination.
02:26:49 🔄 Staying at the current level is a myth; either you're improving or regressing. Many people settle for a fraction of their potential, but true fulfillment comes from continuously challenging oneself.
02:32:20 🎯 Reframing desires from material gains to self-improvement and contributing to the world brings lasting satisfaction. Discipline is not about deprivation but continuous challenge and growth.
02:33:00 🌅 Consistent discipline builds success; distractions come with success. Losing discipline means losing success.
02:34:23 🏔️ Strive for higher levels in life; reaching level 7, 8, 9, 10, and beyond leads to purpose and fulfillment.
02:36:06 🚢 Transition from a speedboat mentality to a cruise ship approach after initial success; slow down, set direction, and avoid chaotic decisions.
02:38:55 📝 Implement a decision-making framework; ask questions, consider alternatives, seek advice, and slow down decision-making for better outcomes.
02:46:12 🌟 Be strict with yourself, but tolerant with others. Lead by example; inspire change in others by setting a fantastic example through discipline.
02:52:57 📝 Identify and define the problem by writing it down, be specific about your lapse in discipline, such as missing meditation sessions for six months.
02:54:09 🔄 Create a step-by-step plan to get back on track, starting with small, manageable changes like reducing meditation time and progressively increasing it.
02:55:34 🧐 Ask yourself why you're facing challenges and falling off, unravel your thoughts by writing them down, and analyze the root causes of your behavior.
02:56:13 🗂️ Document your lapses and the strategies you used to overcome them in a digital system (e.g., iPhone Notes or Notion) for easy access and future reference.
03:00:25 🌟 Remember your purpose and motivation, emphasizing that discipline is not just for personal gain but also for contributing to others' well-being, like family, community, and future generations.
