In rural parts of France, it is difficult to find any take-aways, so most of us do the cooking ourselves. Although I sometimes find this annoying, it does have the advantage of knowing what actually is in the food we are eating. In France most of the processed food (canned food, frozen food etc.) has an "A, B, C, D, E" scale on it's packaging to easily see if the food we are about to buy is "A" (low in fat, sugar, salt - and high in healthy nutrients) or "E" (really unhealthy).

@@handlenot030 I think he meant unhealthy fats. There's a similar scoring system in Germany, but it's a wrong scale, frozen vegetarian pizza is "B" while goat cheese is "D"

My partner and I have almost the exact same breakfast, except he also has a slice of Ezekiel bread. I’ve also started adding broccoli micro greens to thee plate.
Definitely dont feed them processed foods before school especially poptarts and cereals. I try for high protein and a natural fruit will usually hold you until lunchtime.
I have my breakfast around 10 am, protein breaky, eggs n beans. Yoghurt n chai. Lunch 1pm. Chicken large salad. Fruit. The finish 330pm
So what would you suggest parents do for young children to start their day before school? Please note the school breakfasts are not healthy.

Hi. I never eat breakfast. Since i am on Ketogenic lifestyle and one-meal-a-day intermittent fasting everyday, my first meal is at 2 pm, high-fat, very low carbohydrate. I get my Carbohydrates from cruciferous vegetables only, 0 grains. I only drink black coffee, no sugar, water and when i fast for 48 hours once every two weeks, i drink electrolytes (LMNT).
If you're not finishing your food, prepare only enough that you'll finish. That's more sound advice. Food waste the world generates is as extreme a problem as poverty. So many people are dying of hunger while so many are throwing away food that are still fresh and totally edible. It's crazy.

Delaying your breakfast for one hour? Spending 45 minutes having breakfast? That's not possible for people who need to rush to their jobs and don't have that time.
It is. Wake up earlier. Rearrange your day.

@@handlenot030 You are burning fat while sleeping, so you'll just fool yourself by wakening up earlier (for no good at all). The only way fixing that problem is extending your fasting period in the other end, having dinner one hour earlier and not eating after that.

Being diagnosed with cancer I am changing my life! No more rushing everywhere, always in a hurry and staying late at work! It all stops. I’ll be walking after work, cooking healthy meals, going to bed early, getting up an hour early so I can take care of myself, eat breakfast and be more intentional with eating and self care! I’ve always put others needs before my own.

I am so tired tried I think pretty much every way of eating known to man stomach as soon as I eat or drink stomach bloats and sometimes painful maybe I’ll just stop eating
I have a hard time understanding the right amount of food each meal because just like over eating makes sense that its not good also malnutrition is not good and i think more important.

I usually stand at the kit counter and eat the lunch as that way I eat only as much as I need to eat as then my feet start aching due to standing at one place .😅 honestly. Also I eat only as much as need to even if its delicious. I est to live .
