I never enjoyed Grape Nuts...but with that sort of nutrition, that's a great option. Everything tastes better on the trail anyway.

Well here it is 6th of March 2019 I watched your video during my lunch break at work. After work I went to the local Walmart found the Nido in the Latino Isle i purchased a small container of it purchased a box of Grape-Nuts I also purchased the cane sugar they had all three. I went home assembled it as you instructed. I was very pleased and amazed thank you for sharing your passion with others. I enjoyed it. And I will be using it and packing it future hiking outings. Thank you👍👍

Great video Kurt. Getting ready for a GC trip in October and am looking into finding better food options (low cost, ease of use, etc.). This and your GC exercise video, are in my saved list for easy replay. Thanks for taking the time to record and post!

Very informative and very well produced! Thanks for taking the time to help educate a lot of folks to a nice option, versus the pre packaged stuff. Getting ready for a few days in Glacier NP this was some good stuff! Headed out to buy some Nido and Grape Nuts.

Such a great, informative video. I had been searching for meal ideas that don't consist of a squeeze tube. Thank you for posting.

Great ideas and just what I was looking for. Here are a couple of additional backpacking ideas. Granola with powdered tang, very tasty cold or hot on a winter morn. Also Steel ground outmeal with chia seeds, raisins, brown sugar, butter buds or whatever. Prepackage at home and add water to it the night before, for a short cooking time in morning. Instant oatmeal is just a filler and should be avoided which is what it sounds like you do. Getting ready to try Nido for the first time. Thanks

Darn you! Why didn't I think of grape nuts! Just ridiculously smart! One thing I'd possibly add is a protein powder as well. Nice job. Gotta love experience!
