    I loved what Dennis Roman had to say how Scottie Pippen will stop LeBron before he will get to him and that is so true. Rodman was stopping call Malone, who was also a big freak of nature so why wouldn’t he be able to stop LeBron James with no moves. He was pretty great. There just isn’t anybody like him. He was an incredible offensive and defensive player in an era where defense was expected of you. There was no “two way player” term like today which points to the utter lack of defense out there. Now they make a big deal if somebody gives even the slightest bit of effort on the defensive side of the floor. Hopefully we can watch all of MJs old games or at least all his finals in decent resolution. The way TVs worked back then is why it can look so bad when watching old footage. But it didn’t look like that while we were watching it live at the time. Hopefully they can fix that so younger guys like yourself can see him in action. Highlights are great but they don’t tell the full story.

Jordan went through the struggle was early on in his career, but he stayed with the balls build upon making them better making his players better and when it was their time, there was nobody beating them same thing with the Lakers when shack and Kobe were there in the beginning, they went through some struggles, but the team worked together and got better and they won three straight Durk Nowinsky when they made it to the finals and 96. Yes they lost my Miami Heat but Dirk didn’t jump ship. He stayed with Dallas went through the struggles until he finally got his LeBron is the only player that jump ship when things get hard and has to join top 10 players for them to carry him to a championship because he doesn’t have what it takes to make anyone around him better and make a team better. From a business standpoint that final Kobe contract was a huge mistake BUT i understood it, it was a thank you and a rare case of an organization doing right by a player who was a shell of a shell of himself. It really is crazy when I look back at my time when I was hardcore basketball fan or at least a hardcore Celtics fan from like 2008-2012 or 2013 I saw the last of the warriors play.

    I always like to add about lebron leaving Cleveland the first time so the truth is never forgotten. In 2006, LeBron and Wade decided to sign shorter 2nd NBA contracts so they'd all be free agents together in the summer of 2010. The goal of course was to team up. They reached out to Melo but he decided to sign a longer deal with the nuggets. Thats why Bosh got the call. Recently I found out they reached out to CP3 but him and Wade both wore number 3 and neither was willing to give it up. So in 2006 LeBron already decided to join up with superstars to win championships. And who did he reach out to?? The banna boat crew. • @confusedindividual
    @confusedindividual Месяц назад +9

    MJ and Kobe convinced the league that there was no way for other teams to truly beat them. Why? Because a game result will be one of two things: a) the opposition loses… straightforward; b) the opposition wins and now, they’ve got a pissed off MJ or Kobe to look forward to. They were guys that in addition to their talent on the court, used losses to make themselves better. MJ bulking up to tank the hits from the Pistons; Kobe knocking down free throws on a torn Achilles; every NBA player encounters moments where their talent isn’t enough. To be worthy of being called a ‘great’, you have to be better than your best when it’s all on the line. You have to be willing to overclock yourself when 100% stops working. Why do you think you’re in a profession where people retire in their thirties and make more money than 90% of the country will ever see in their lifetime? It’s because you’re expected to do things nobody else could ever do. And, to be acknowledged as the GOAT amongst this elite group of people, you better not be saying things like “it’s just basketball” in a press conference after going down three games in the playoffs. If Kobe isn’t cracking a smile after going up 2-0 in the finals, LeBron got no business doing that going down 0-3 in the playoffs. Nothing disqualifies you from a ‘great’ title faster than not taking your craft seriously.

He said there can not be one person that is the greatest of all time, because you had so many other great players like Jabar, Russell, and so forth. Mj surpassed the great hall of famers, like Russell, Jabar, West, Cousey, Bird, Magic, Duncan, and the rest with a higher level of greatness, with his play, magnitude, and global appeal, and how all of that translated into re-establishing the NBA as one of the greatest professional institutes.

    1. If u haven't seen that podcast episode of J.R. Smith on Brandon Jennings show, you definitely should. He explains in detail (and the hosts NEVER comment on it because they TOO are scared of Bron), how Bron, the Cavs and the media blamed him for the loss, but don't blame Bron's missed shots and missed free throws that quarter. It goes hand in hand with the interview Kevin Love did years later mentioning that him being blamed for losses was what made him become depressed. Both combined, add Mario Chalmers, Westbrook etc. and it shows how Lebron REALLY affects his "teammates"
    2. When he left Miami, he gave them the impression he was going to stay. He even heavily influenced their draft pick that summer. He tweeted a comment like "I don't know HOW a team doesn't draft __

    Did you get my message about "All-Time" starting lineup? Based on your lineup, I choose:
    Center: Chris Bosh- high-level of balance in offence and defense, willing to adjust, 3-point shooter. His ability to be the third best player on the team has been proven to win championships.
    Power Forward: Tim Duncan- a power forward in a center's body. Plus the resume speaks for itself. Duncan is a franchise.
    Small Forward: Bam Adebayo- here's where it get's juicy, Bam uses his "guarding 1-5" at the small forward spot. His willingness to take a backseat on offence and his addition of a serviceable 3-point shot makes him the ultimate lynchpin for any high-level roster.
    Shooting Guard: Dwyane Wade. 3rd best shooting guard of all time. Maybe the best "sidekick" archetype of all time. When he played with Bron in Miami.
    Point Guard: Tony Parker. Nothing fancy here, except a pg that once LED THE LEAGUE in points in the paint. Take note, not all guards, not all starters, not all anything. The entire league, baby. Think about it.
    So, how about you? What's your "All-Time" starting lineup?

      that's a fun lineup for sure! My all time lineup is basically the same as what I told you the first time. shaq, hakeem, jordan, steph, and kobe for my all time one. Steph and Kobe being guards shooting the deep ball, mj and hakeem posting, and shaq for cleanup duties lol

    I think Jackson was talking about when lebron got Green suspended. He snitched on Green after the game.
