Na Pali Coast - Kalalua Trail in a Day

The Roadless North Side of Kauai
Here’s a significant thing we did in 2022, hike/run the Na Pali Coast’s Kalalua Trail! Out of my element in this place. Rough day but extremely beautiful!!!
Funny how the rest of the island is covered in chickens and here on the trail it’s the goats. You can’t see them even when they’re right next you. The 2nd half of the trail on the Northwest side is fairly dry. The first half of the is very lush, it rained heavily when starting and returning. Trail is only 22 miles as out n back but it wore me out by the end of the day. I’d go back and do the side trails to the other waterfalls with out hesitation!! Next time!!
