    "Skeletons should naturally be smaller" ...
    Ummmmm ...
    What 😂... do you think our muscle and skin adds 4" to our height 😅

      "Smaller" isn't just for height, and this kind of height difference is perfectly realistic; humanoids very in height quite a bit.

      Sounds like my video has upset you. For that I apologize. But I do stand by my opinion that this 6.5" skeleton fits in well with many other lines. Hope you feel better soon my friend!

    Hi Bill, great video as always. Despite the simplicity of the skeleton, I must say that I really like it dressed it its accessories! I'm going to definitely pick the blue dude up and find a way to add him to my mythic legions skeles! Can't wait for your next video! Eds Nice out...

      Get the barbarian and swap the bones. That's the whole HACKS thing; you buy figures with the parts you like to make your own characters/combinations.

      @The Timesmyth yea but then your paying $30+ for a figure you only want for a robe lol. It's a cool concept for some people for sure having different colors but not my cup of tea either. Gonna go with kulu worlds

    This skeleton can pass for a female or younger individual bone structure in the world of ML.I also wonder how does the hood look on a Scaphoid figure per say?🤔.The more I see of their collection the more I like it,great job dude awesome review 👌🏻🤙🏼

    Bill, funny how many times I have heard your intro song and missed the battle droid sample🙃😄 it was good to get a review explaining the plastic and engineering difference with the lower half of the action figure. Not your Sid(TS) toy handling skills😉😁 this figure so far is the forerunner of this line. To quote RC (Poppa Palatine)a very Wizard review 👍✌️

    Gladiator has to be my favourite from this line, solely because of the awful blue colour of the Grim Spectre. Accessory-wise I definitely think Grim Spectre is my favourite but I just can't get past the blue 😅

    "Not the most advanced" is very diplomatic; I think the robe on this figure looks outright dumpy.
    It's a shame because, as you said, the craftsmanship on the other parts is really excellent; the wash and paint on the cowl is great, especially the fact that the tiny buckle and strap on the neck part is so well painted, at least on my figure.
    It seems like Boss Fight is really just scaling-up their 1/18 parts, and the fact that they still look great (or better) at 1/12 really speaks to the quality of the sculpts. However, I think some things, like this robe design, just don't work in 1/12 scale. I would have preferred to skip the molded hood parts, and have that effort/cost put towards a wired, hooded cloth robe. I replaced mine with a wired robe intended for a Jedi, and it looks so much better. I'll be selling the included robe and hood parts.
    I also had the same tape issue with my book, and it's disappointing that the pages are just blank. I found some waterslide decals which I will use to detail the pages.
    Love the boot swap on this figure!

      I apologize if the language I used to express my dislike for the cloth goods wasn't inflammatory enough for you. I'll try to be more rageful in future videos for you. Lol just kidding. Thanks for the comment, I appreciate you sharing your opinion.

      Likewise! I always enjoy your videos.
      You can get mad though; you've totally got enough of a collection to consider yourself an authority.🥸 Criticism is a form of love!
      Despite the dumpy robe: this is also my favorite figure on this wave, if only for all the extra stuff. Blue & brown is a good color combo.

    • @DorkLair
      @DorkLair  Год назад +2

      @@DriftSpaceZero Getting mad is the wrong way to share criticism in my opinion. I know it gets clicks and satisfies a certain segment of the audience, but level-headed criticism is just as valid as criticism delivered with anger. Anger is fine and criticism is fine, but conflating the two as if they are the same is problematic.

    • @DriftSpaceZero
      @DriftSpaceZero Год назад +1

      @@DorkLair
      I appreciate the character reflected in this comment, and absolutely agree. I think anger and criticism are often at least associated because criticism can be received angrily, but I did not mean to suggest that they are the same.
      "You can get mad" was meant in a more colloquial way, but -- to your point -- that casual conflation is problematic; interpreting criticism as "getting mad" is a disservice to the point behind the criticism, and is almost dismissive.
      I'll be more careful next time, thanks!

    • @DorkLair
      @DorkLair  Год назад +2

      @@DriftSpaceZero Interesting, so if "getting mad" is just a colloquialism for being critical, then what's the issue with my criticizing the robe as not up to snuff with current soft goods standards? Was that not an accurate criticism? I apologize if I sound like I'm just harping on a non-issue, but in order for me to improve my descriptive accuracy, I would be interested in hearing why my reaction was too "diplomatic."
