Nice video pal, when you mentioned in last video, the ride wrap kit looks tricky, your core is well protected without that kit. Nice rig I want it.🙏🏼🙏🏼 looks a good place. Ross 🇬🇧🤘🤘⭐️
Thanks man. I had the bike shop install the wrap but this bike does come with some coverage already which is nice. I actually am selling this one now as i just got the new capra uncaged 11 mx 😬
That looks like a really fun trail. Enjoy that bike. Love that blue gloss paint
Local spot (my favorite) thanks man loving the new bike for sure.
@@RIMTB 🤘🤘
Gooo Johnny gooo, Don't worry about them battle scars.
I am on the ground a lot 🤣🤣🤣
Well done dudes.
Thanks Paul 🤘
Got the Core 2 alloy version… heavy but honestly when you go downhill it feels weightless! Amazing bike and good vid bro!
I almost went w the core2 but i wanted the upgraded shocks so i went w the core4 carbon wasn’t a big deal it only saves like a pound i think mine is 33lbs but i agree a little heavier for downhill feels better i miss that about my downhill bike. Thanks man.
Yeah i wish the rear shock was atleaat an x2 on the core 2 not a fan of the float x
You can always upgrade it i was going to do that with buying the core 2 but it was cheaper to buy the core 4 i do like the x2 i am still dialing in the suspension mainly for tech jumps its fine.
Definitely chucking a coil on it. Perfect for the progressive layout
That might be an option for me down the road. My downhill bike had a coil and it was really good. Id like to upgrade the wheels for my next move.
I cant wait till I get mine
When is yours coming?
@@RIMTB july 11th as I wanted the nox blue. Do you think the value is there between the core 3 to core 4?
Nice. Absolutely i was gna get the cheaper version and upgrade the shocks but you cant beat there prices so i just went w the core 4 mine took just over 3weeks to ship but it actually shipped sooner than expected so i was happy.
@@RIMTB Yeah I live close enough to pick up the bike but the core 4 in nox blue is out till next month
Thats not bad worth the wait IMO
How does the 2022 climb? I’ve heard that the previous models didn’t climb well at all. I’m looking at getting the same one you have.
Its decent mine has the 10/52 cassette. This bike is longer and heavier vs my stump jumper evo comp which is a killer all around bike but i don’t hesitate to take this to my local trails here and there because for the downhill runs its well worth a little extra effort getting to the top. I will say the bike also does not bob at all even w the longer travel suspension i am loving it for sure. And at the bike parks man it shines 😎
How do you like it so far? Im thorn between the same exact one in large im 5'10. Or the nukeproof giga factory in artichoke green the only available color that its not in pre order before the end of the summer or even November in my country.. i like the yt more just for this reason lol i can get one pretty much in 3 weeks and the color is amazing
I am loving the YT so far. The only complaints i have and this is just me are the wheels ( I’m super hard on wheels ) and the dropper post lever i have broken two times already with small crashes besides that its awesome. I will be upgrading to carbon wheels soon hopefully and possibly upgrading the brakes as i really only use this bike for the bike parks now.
I’m between this exact bike and the Stumpjumer EVO Elite alloy/ or Evo expert. I saw you comment you have one as well. For normal trail riding/flow trail riding with jumps/drops. Which would you recommend. A lot of our trails look similar to the one in the video but tend to be pretty even on climbing/descending but rocky/rooty. (In TN)
If you plan on going to a bike park id pick the YT for everything else the stumpy thats not to say the stump jumper can’t handle the mountain it can its a do all kind of bike but the YT really shines going downhill and really handles better overall compared to the stumpjumper. I have vids with both bikes on trails and the mountain check em out. I think I only went to highland once last year w the stumpjumper and maybe powder ridge once or twice.
@@RIMTB thanks man! I’m just wanting to go the monster truck/ over bike route for my local single track but still want a semi decent climber for the more XC oriented so that’s why I’m between the two. Is one a better climber in your opinion in rocky rooty singletrack?
The YT is a little more work on climbs as its heavier and longer but its capable thats for sure.
Hi. I have the same model! Do you heard cabel an seatpost rattling on your bike too?
The seat post is ok i actually upgraded my post to a fox dropper post.
I'm gonna be that guy...you are way better off with the Izzo. Way too over biked for those trails. At the end of the day.....overkill is just right😊🤘
My stumpy evo is my main trail bike i had to test this bike out of course here and it does have some pretty narly shit. I bought this for the bike park and am selling my downhill bike.
2:40 - 3:19 where is this trail? I ride there all the time and haven’t found that one yet.
This one is warm up trail i believe its by the main entrance to the right when you pull in. You can climb up it but its more fun to go down if you go up the road a bit there is julies way up that leads rite to it.
@@RIMTB awesome. Thanks man. Gonna check it out this Sunday morning
Nice. Im am usually there once a week if you ever want to get a ride in.
What’s size do you have ?
Medium
@@RIMTB oh okay do you like it and I was trying to figurer out what size I should go with on them ,I need to find someone who had a large or X-Large . Cause I am 6’2 and I am in between
Im 5’6” just for reference so far i love it yes its a great bike.
