I BROKE MY COLLARBONE, WRIST - CLOSING WEEKEND / THUNDER MOUNTAIN 2023

- Another season is history. Pretty bummed how the day ended our last lap down fort hill would end up taking me out pretty bad. I knew the trail was running slow and should have pulled off after the shark fin but instead I tried pedaling into the first Moto jump and ended up casing it really bad. The impact sent me into a front flip and I knew after I hit the ground I was hurt bad. End result was a broken collar bone which I will need surgery on and a broken wrist. The ER did reset my wrist and after a follow up with the specialist he is happy on how my wrist looks and will just keep it in a cast. I'm looking at around 3 months recovery time with the shoulder and getting back on a bike. It can always be worse I guess at least it's winter and bike park season is over for us. Huge thank you to Martin for helping me get off the mountain and making sure I was ok and good to drive home. I will be back for redemption next season.

No concussion but i might trade a broken wrist,collarbone for one 🤣🤣 def hit my head good i was surprised i was not seeing stars.
Don't feel bad dude. I broke my collarbone and 6 ribs closing weekend at Snowshoe. Hope you're feeling better soon.
Thanks man. I have raced at snowshoe a bunch on 4 wheels place is insane. Doing much better now was just 100% cleared by my dr this past Tuesday 😎 it happens its part of the sport.
The secret trail before Harold’s blend was fucking sick I’ll be on the lookout for that next year lol. I thought I knew everything but Indon’t recognize that.

Ya i have been hitting this jump for 2 seasons. I should have pulled off with how slow the trail was running.
Sick crash you know what you got to do in 2024, you got to hit that jump and make it cya then get on the trails soon
It was a good one for sure. I have sent this jump plenty of times this year with no issues dirt was just running slow this day with cold temps i should not have went for it.
