Mushroomhead is always one hell of a trip, and I'm always here for it. Such an original band, and I feel like their music is never complete without knowing their visual. One of the most unique bands these last decades, for sure.
Currently all 3 aren't touring. I believe that after this album the vocalists were Jackie, Steve and jmann. But they tour with Steve and another vocalist that I don't know the name of.
@@Neighbor_Joe they are back to three vocalists, waylon left the band and has his own band A Killers Confession now. the third vocalist who i cant remember his name, was in Jasons other band when he was on hiatus from mushroom head since Jeffrey left the band. Waylon still tours with the band i believe occasionaly just as Jason did years past
I saw these guys at The Masquerade in Atlanta in like 2001 or 2002. They said that they didn't like having absolutely no say in the dates, locations, and ticket prices while doing Ozzfest. Which, being the newbies, wasn't surprising. But getting that exposure allowed them to put together a $5 - 5 band tour. What a show that was!
Keep the Mushroomhead reactions coming! They have many diverse songs. Btw during this album they had 3 singers, Jason, Jeff and Waylon. Would love to see you react to Killswitch Engage - The End of Heartache Live! You won't be disappointed
They didn't have Steve on this album yet. He's a new vocalist. The guys you've heard in this song were Waylon Reavis, Jeffrey Nothing and J Mann(Jason Popson). This band is constantly changing its members so you have to google the specific song to be sure who was doing vocals at that time. I suggest checking our Solitaire Unraveling, 12 Hundred , Simple Survival or Save Us.
Mushroomhead is one of fav bands ever. Best live band as well. The Heresy should be your next listen. Solitaire Unraveling needs to happen. Bwomp if you want to hear some banger rap drops. 43 live if you want to experience that
You can't forget... theyre entire discography 😆 just pick a song, any song. You won't be disappointed. They are by far the greatest underrated underground band in existance, tho unfortunately they've lost 2 of their 3 most iconic vocalist Waylon and Jeffrey Nothing. Who have been replaced by Steve raukhorst and Mrs. Jackie. Not that it's a bad thing, tho a very different sound, it's still great in its own way. It's amazing that every album they've put out since'95 has its own very distinct flavor. Please check out more, would love to see your reactions. 🤘
Their music has evolved over the years as members came and went. One of their newest songs is The Heresy. You should check that out. Unfortunately they had another lineup change again during lockdown and I have not heard anything new from them. Great reaction as always
ive seen mushroomhead live 3 times and its gotten better every time. it's an experiential band, like gwar but also not like gwar, i personally find them more listenable than gwar....also the group is always so kind to fans. they're my favorite band. i have photos with them :) its one of my most treasured memories
You should definitely check out "the heresy" next. One of my favorite songs of theirs. Actually there are 3 vocalists, but not all feature in the same songs
So... There is a lot of Mushroomhead vocalists.. Jason and Jeffrey and Waylon and Jackie and Steve... And they pulled in a few oddball ones for a single song too .. one guy on a song called The Final Act .. I forgot his name but he did great... And I think they got some chick to do a bit on their first album on a tune called Mommy.. a real trippy narcotic tune... So 5 main vocalists so far... And a few one offs
i love this band. my first time hearing them was live. a friend of mine took me to check em out. their live performances are equally as impressive. they put alot of effort into the entertainment side of music as well. super nice guys as well. good reaction!
Songs I recommend from Mushroomhead. Come On, Sun Doesn't Rise, Nowhere to Go, Becoming Cold, Simple Survival, Devils Be Damned, Carry On, Seen It All, The Heresy, and Solitaire / Unraveling
This one had three vocalists. Waylon (demon eyes), Jeff (hands), and J-Mann (Magneto mask). "We Are the Truth" had Jackie, Jeff, and J-Mann. The only original member left I think is the drummer. I've seen them several times over the years, but only with Jeff and Waylon. They were the first live act to actually scare me, and I've been hooked ever since.
It's weird for me to hear about them having 3 vocalists and was blown away when I heard Jeffrey was no longer in the band. To me, he was the voice of Mushroomhead, at least who made them stand out. I never knew they had a 3rd singer in there towards the beginning.
Great reaction, mushroomhead goes back to the 90s and feud with slipknot about the masks and other things. In the end slipknot came on top, but they are really cool and lay back have a lot o material
This video was done in a haunted house I used to work at and helped to build my PFP is one of my characters I played in the haunt. Have Known the bass player Dr. F since 1997 when I worked with him at deferent haunted house in Cleveland Ohio. Waylon Reavis one of the vocalists and Stitch the DJ also worked in the haunt that this was filmed in. Waylon Reavis is now in his own band called A Killer's Confession.
The movie you were thinking of is Pan’s Labyrinth. Love this song. What was the other song you reacted to? Was it The Heresey? If not, PLEASE check it out!!! Love ya and thanks for the content!
I remember in High School I had a gnarly sound system in my truck and this song cracked my windshield and knocked off the rearview mirror... good times lmao
@rayactions - I will start off that I am not a book reader but I state my thoughts on some of your remarks especially at 6:16. It is my opinion and beliefs that the band is stating that society creates thief's and then punish them means "we create soldiers to fall in line "follow orders" fall in line glorify "Be gloried for dying" , be in the service to long to be a "Patriotic parasite" and now that we soldiers have done our Patriotic Duty, come back to be pushed for our SELF VOULENTING duty and be critized by the whimps that didn't...
This song/vid links up with "Out Of My Mind" Think you're talking about Pans Labyrinth........Mushroomhead live tends to include water drums (cool)....the newer line up had Jay,Jackie, and Steve (Steves not on this. Its Waylon, Jay and Jeffrey)👹🤘👍 Still good though (Carry On) worth a look
Would love to see you react to the band AVATAR and their song Napalm (Live from Ages) OR Let it Burn (Loudwire Exclusive) They are from Gothenburg, Sweden. They just hit No. 1 on the Billboard Rock Airplay, and got a fossil named after them!
I had a feeling i would see theese types of facial expressions from you. I have heard a ton of bad stuff about this band, and also tons of good. I guess its just one of thoose bands right. All i can say is that i got weak for the band, when i saw and heard Jackie LaPonza sing. You should check out theyr song Carry On,where Jackie looks really impressive (and maybe abit scary?) Its my favourite song by them,i think you might like it. Jackie is a stunningly beautiful lady without the makeup and effects.
So there’s only 3 members left in this video that are still in the band. - “skinny” is the drummer and fired everyone in this once great band. -diablo is the guy with the devil horns, he’s a auxiliary percussionist, and the drummer when skinny can’t play the full set due to heath issues. -dr.f is the bass player. He and skinny write all of mushroomheads music and have since 2013. Skinny can’t play the drums anymore and he and diablo now do auxiliary percussion live. They hired a younger drummer who plays the full set. Supposedly skinny is a control freak and supposedly according to ex members is a dick to record music with.
@@drunkwaxera4945 Trent was born in PA, but relocated to Cleveland in his early 20's in the mid 80's.. he was part of a pop band then created NIN in 1988 in Cleveland.
@smahring I wasn't sure if we could claim him, but either way, Cleveland is huge for the scene. Just all of the Mushroomhead side projects that are great. Hell, MRH was a side project. J Mann I think has 10 himself. It's amazing how many genres combine into one band.
Heey Ray, great reaction as always!! Also, since you liked the Pain Remains songs by Lorna Shore, i think you should react do Angelmaker -" What I Would Give" or "Requiem". They are both crushingly sad songs, but also heavy just like Pain Remains! (AND THEY HAVE 2 VOCALISTS JUST LIKE YOU MENTIONED AT THE END OF THIS VIDEO)

It's not one of their best, its odd why its their most popular vid for reactions. Two of my favs of theirs are Sun Doesn't Rise and Solitaire Unraveling
actually at that time they had 3 vocals then went down to 2. To let you know Mushroomhead literally is no more they changed the name and don't wear masks anymore.
The thing that is awesome about Mushroomhead is that you can turn it up and just melt the face off of someone. However, the problem is that you seem really nice, lovely, smart and considered. I don't want to melt your face off. It's a nice face :-(
I've been listening to Mushroomhead since I was in high school in the early 2000's. Always a fun listen. This is one of my least favorite songs of theirs though.

The movie the hand mask reminded you of is called Pans Labyrinth. He looks like the Pale Man.

The gentleman with the black demon eyes is Waylon and he also does vocals, he just doesn't have a standalone section in this song.

Ive had their logo tatted on my shoulder since 03 🤘🏻
Gotta listen to “Carry On” by them with Mr. Rauckhorst as the vocalist. Guy is a beast
A movie with a person with their hands on their face "Labirynt fauna"
I always forget Magneto started a metal band
Tommy Church did the stunt himself with the fire. Each song has a different vibe to MRH the masks all have MRH X logos on them by the eyes 👀.
