This song was also in the video game Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. It was badass.
"Awake" and "Unforgettable" are two more Godsmack songs that are quite different to each other, like "Under Your Scars" and "I Stand Alone".

If you haven't heard it yet, 'Voodoo' is a real vibe. I used to enjoy singing along with it, being a deeper voiced person myself.
Whenever that came on the radio, that volume knob got dialed up so fast. I remember hoping it would come on any time I went somewhere. The days before things on demand were a wild time.

Sully is one of the best vocalists coming out of 90s into the 2000s. Able to do different vocals for different song styles within the rock genre
I think Godsmack "Whatever and Moon Baby" are my fav songs by them.. there are a lot I like but them get my hyped up the most!
'The Scorpion King' was a spin-off movie from 'The Mummy Returns' ... depicting the origin & rise of The Rock's character the 'Scorpion King Mathayus' about 5000 years in the past ... Actress Kelly Hu played 'Cassandra the Sorceress' who appeared in the beginning of the music video.
Sully erna is an amazing vocalist and musician overall.
They have a whole album / acoustic session, for me it's their best album, take a listen!

“Voodoo” has a really cool and mysterious tribal style to it.

I saw these guys in 2000 with Static X and it was a great show other than someone stealing Sully's shoe while he was crowd surfing and him holding the show up for about 10 minutes until the person gave it back. lol

Fun Fact: I'm normally a Manson fan, but I did like this early on in my tweens. I was prob 14-15 in 2004-05 and just after the Matrix and Scorpion King soundtracks came out. My exposure to the Metal and Electronic Rock and Nu Metal rock world as a youth. I have since enjoyed the soundtracks of films like the Crow and many others since... the 90's and early 00's had legendary ones too, Daredevil and Ghost Rider. So many were also Major Studio films.
also the Scorpion King was a character with the bad CGI in Mummy 2 but also, he got a "Stand Alone" solo film which was a neat off shoot of the character. Lead to the Rental bins of the sequel films with diff actors as a young and an older Akkadian Warrior in Ancient Egypt.
Please have a listen to Sully Erna's song "7 years" from his solo project. It's mesmerizing!

Another band you should check out is Fear Factory. Dark bodies is a good song and Bite the hand that bleeds. Another fun song they covered was a song called Cars. They speak about duality and transhumanism with AI and machines. Very terminatorish It's a wild rabbit hole to fall in.

Little bit late on this video, I just discovered your content. You should check out the song "Unforgettable" by Godsmack. Basically, they ended up going to a school and teaching the kids in that school how to play music. And they are featured in a music video playing the exact song, "Unforgettable". It is a relatively recent song, but you might like it
