    I keep trying and something always make me clean out savings. Just last night had to empty all I have saved for a hot water heater. Gets discouraging but at least I had the cash and did not need to use a credit card. But now I am starting over again.

      @GillianBudgets20203 thank you. I am starting over on Thursday when I get paid. I do my savings as a bi weekly bill and budget $200 a paycheck towards savings. One day I will be able to reach the 1000 for emergencies and then move on to the next step. So close so many times!

    Great video as always Jen! I have had to hit my emergency fund twice and I hate it! I figured up my debt last night and including student loans I am just under 50k. Now keep in mind that doesn’t include my car because my husband bought that under his name because at the time my credit was horrible from a bankruptcy after divorcing the jerk I married the first time. I bought myself a budget planner, but after any tries at this I have learned that I need the layout and information it provides. I am going avalanche this round as snowball has not worked for me in the past. Plus I have some ridiculously high interest rates on loans and cards and want them gone ASAP. Throw into the mix that I am also between jobs and not expecting a paycheck until November 22nd or 23rd at the earliest and…. yea. That is dependent on everything coming back this week so I can get into orientation on Monday. Times are hard at the moment, but I have faith in myself and am armed with the knowledge I gain from these videos. Keep them coming. While I like the cash stuffing and challenge ones I find these a lot more helpful to me.

    • @2SisterBees
      @2SisterBees  Год назад +1

      I am proud of you for having an emergency fund to dip into !
      I have been through two divorces and my credit was destroyed with my first one. That kept me down for years.
      I totally understand doing avalanche method- math is math. Not everyone needs the “quick wins”.
      If you are determined- you will keep pushing. I know I’ve had so many times in my life where I have said - enough is enough. Those are the moments of time I look back on now and think to myself, “ Dang Jenn- you a beast!” 🤣🤣
      We all have it in us- you’ll get through that debt and be so proud! 💛💛💛

This gets to the point she will sew up holes in her walmart sweatpants which are only 8 dollars but she says unless she's flashing the neighbors in threads she will continue to mend them. • @2SisterBees

      I hear that. It’s scary, right? We’ve been conditioned to believe we can’t do without it.
      Give $ to banks - need it.
      Keep your cash - don’t need it.
      There are certainly adjustments but I’m already seeing the difference now that we are debt free. I still can’t believe the amount I was sending out monthly for debt payments. 🤦‍♀️
      As you go through the process, your thinking changes. It will become clearer as you progress. Don’t be worried - keep moving in the RIGHT direction for you! 💛

    So paying off the debt (baby step) doesn't include the house? What about car/student loan?
    Maybe this was or is answered in the comments. Let me look.

    • @2SisterBees
      @2SisterBees  3 месяца назад +1

      Cars and student loans are all part of beby step 2. All debt except house. Then in baby step 6- you work on paying off the house. All that cash you were sending to debt can now go towards the principle payments.
