My husband was a little harder to convince but now saw the effects of getting control of our spending and budgeting. Now we are a month ahead on bills and working on debt payoff. I want to thank you because your freebies are the first challenges I started. I didn't want to spend a bunch of money to save and 2sisterbees made it easy to start my journey to financial freedom! ❤

Starting the habit of no spending and saving is scary to some people because they're not used to doing it. Self-discipline is required to establish new habits but it doesn't necessarily have to mean deprivation. Establishing specific financial goals first is important in changing how we handle our financial life.
Since January of this year, I've averaged 14 no-spend days per month, but I don't feel deprived. I am debt free fortunately, so that really helps in saving more. It can be done. People have to believe that they can.

My family and I had horrible spending habits. (we still do,) We are a working progress. We have never done a no spend challenge before, so we started with No spend week. My husband and I managed a week with ease (to our surprise)
However, our eldest child 5 (has complex care needs and found the changes very challenging.) But with time our family will adapt to all necessary changes. We have now decided that this November, we are challenging ourselves to a no spend month.

As always a great video Jen. Over the last 2 years I have done a No Spend a few times to put the money into a new bed. This week we researched 3 different types of companies, changed the original. We ended up spending less on the bed, got a new recliner & 2 free pillows only $200 more than what I planned, but had. What a great feeling to feel in control. I was gonna wait until January but you've motivated me to do it again and this time put the extra money into paying off a medical bill sooner. Thanks ❤❤

Hi there ! So- you’ll want to commit to 1 month of no spending except bills and necessities.
Give yourself an amount that you will save for each day that you don’t spend. So- say you choose $3.
You’ll mark your days on the hearts.
Maybe color spend day hearts - red
And NO spend days hearts - green
For every green heart, put $3 in your envelope and see how you do!

I would set something that you know you can accomplish if you just weren’t swiping that debit card so much! 😅
Maybe something like - I know I spend $10 a day eating out lunch. I can stop that and put that $10 in my envelope instead.
If you do not use cash, transfer that $10 everyday into your savings account.
The other thing is - you don’t necessarily have to “save” any money. Doing a No Spend is going to be savings enough. Believe me, you will notice the difference in your checking after 30 days.
I was absolutely floored after doing my first one!

      Get paid.
      1. Pay rent/ mortgage
      2. Utilities
      3. Car/ gas
      4. Food
      5. If you have anything left, you pay debt starting with smallest amount and work your way up to largest payment.
      6. Anything left after that, savings.

@@2SisterBeesthey are the one who’s bored for leaving such mean comment under someone’s video that they don’t even know . This video was very informative and useful to a lot of other people. This user should remind themselves that if *you don’t have anything nice to say , please be quiet*
Thank you for an amazing video. 🙏🏾
