I use to take 1 hour and a half. When I started and now I’ve been putting work in and I found out with repetition you get faster I reduced it to 35 minutes I usually use guard from 0 to#2 and then from there is all clipper over comb I use shears to detail at the end.

My time is amazing. I constantly time myself and still do faster every time and now I’m at 35 minutes of fades and 51 minutes if shear cuts involved and that’s not hustling it. I’m just in cruise control LOL 😂. I just practiced a lot just to get to this point and if I didn’t refine my work then I would be done so much faster but I just couldn’t leave my clients without quality.Your amazing eddy and I appreciate you for being there for our industry

Great cut! But hey, I work at Supercuts, and at least at our shop, we don't just call it done and send them out, lol. BUT I have an amazing manager who doesn't care how long it takes us, within reason, as long as we put out good work. My average cut time is around 20-25 minutes, but 30-45 on a bald fade. I still struggle, so I slow down and take my time. Once the skills are there, speed will come.

That's a great cut. I'm a barber of 31 years and had to do an Asian cut that was doing the same identical thing in the back. Work it out but it definitely took a lot of refining thinning shears texturizing the whole nine. I appreciate the video

Yooooo. I was crying when u said hey this is looking good already. At supercuts they'd have u outta door already but around here lol we gotta little more work to do. Great cut bro. Using ur code today to grab those gamma hitters. U have almost convinced me to grab the zupra or octanes too. Need to cut down on time. Especially when things get back to "normal" I'm gonna need to be getting them in and out much quicker. This quarantine has me rejuvenated after 20+ years of this. Watching ur videos just cuz I missed it and ended up getting some great tips. Thanks brother

Any time. Keep the videos coming. U get straight to the point. Thoroughly explain things with simplicity. And the titles are perfect also. As barbers we all know that hair that walks thru the door and we say, ah shit, this ain't gonna b quick, easy, and routine.

I have to focus more on the organisation of my haircuts.I appreciate the fact that you don't only show perfect clients but also those with messy or difficult hair ! Thank you !

My cut time is 45-60 minutes man, I’ve watched so many videos and I think I messed myself up seeing all sorts of techniques and mixing up my own so much, I usually always end with good cuts but it takes me so long to get the quality I’m going for, thinking about maybe doing my shear work on the top first and then fade bc I’m quicker with the shears and it would help me know what I’m fading into for the top of the fade near the parietal where it’s longer, if anyone does shear work first and fade after, reply to my comment and let me know if that helps you and if you think I should give it a go? Thank you guys in advance 🙏🏻 this channel is a blessing, and all the RUclips barbers are, I appreciate this help and advice!

@@RUclipsBarberAcademy I'd say its probably a combination of doing too much clean up and losing my guide in the longer lengths on top. Your method of doing the top was super easy to follow. Can't wait to try it out. I think a lot of us over complicate the top.

I'm new to cutting hair and I was just wondering what the advantage is to buying a liner if I don't need to line anyone up ( just cutting hair for my family). Let's say I zero gap my wahl clippers. Can't I just use that to do the first guideline and remove all the fair underneath? Just wondering if I really need to spend the money on a liner. Thank you for all your help! You are saving me a lifetime worth of money for me and my two sons!

My son's hair is just like this, I agree. After about a year of dealing with this issue behind his head, we decided to let it grow out through the pandemic. It definitely was an awkward period to grow out, but it couldn't be a better time to experiment. It now lays much better behind his head, BUT we can't fade it as high in the rear. By the way I'm self taught (4 months in), Huge thanks to this channel and Eddie.

I understand why you cut off the calek on the crown but what would you do if it was in the front hairline instead?? Would you follow with the grain following directions of growth or would you cut it off or shampoo 🧴 first then see what you think then being that he had tons of product. What would you suggest for the calek if it was on the front line up area??
