I am a student barber, It's been a thrown into the fire experience, because the school is also a full barber shop, not a whole lot of proper instruction on, how to cut hair, but excellent in learning the required knowledge to pass the BB exam. So I have been jumping from one set of videos to another searching for the best easy to understand break downs on how to cut hair and by far your channel has been the best. So thank you for this, it's really helping me along.

I have fine dark hair on a super light scalp so when I was in barber school, none could ever get a skin fade right on me, so it kinda gave me a soft spot for people with difficult head contours/fine hair and I got really good at cutting those types of heads which in turn made cutting easy hair even easier.

I’m not a barber, I work in a corporate setting, and due to the pandemic I’ve been looking for ways to keep busy and saw a few vids and said this is it lol. I went el jamón hype-beast and bought the Andis Master, a trimmer and the Braun 9. In the begging I chipped up a couple of heads, but gotten better watching your vids. To me it’s a way to decompress and take my mind off of the day to day ish. Keep grinding B, appreciate your dedication.

I don’t know if you’ll see this but I found your videos the other day and they are amazing. You do such a great job! I’ve been doing hair for 10 years and I have always faded from a 3 or 2 and down and I used your techniques today at work and it has changed so much! I do have a quick question though, I’m a single mom, I switched from a full service to a men’s only shop last summer. The tools I have were good for where I was but the amount I use them daily now isn’t practical. I need a whole new set of tools but $ is a issue. I’m buying a wahl finale, and I can’t decide on clippers and trimmers. There’s so many on the market it makes my head spin. If you had to choose one clipper and trimmer that would work for everything what would they be?

So, I understand you need that guide line but, have you tried not making it such a hard line? Have you tried going just below where you actually want the line to be and flick your wrist? That still gives you the guide line but it saves you time by not having to blend out or fade out such a hard line. I’m just curious.

Nice! I used to use those photography box lights until I experimented with using just the stands and light brackets and screwing in 1,500 lumin flood lights to them. I then realized that was less bulky but too bright, so I went to home depot and got a dimmer that plugs right into the wall and then you just plug your lights into that and you get full control of your brightness. Best setup I've used if you are looking for a cheap and clean looking light setup. I'll send you all the info on Instagram if interested at all.

Awesome video! You're very good at explaining how to cut hair. My teenage twin sons have reddish-blonde hair, so cutting their hair (I cut their hair) can be tricky especially when trying to get lines out. Their hair is red, blonde, and sometimes a little bit of white (from the sun bleaching their hair during the summer). It takes time, and, like you have said, having to retrace my steps to get any lines out really helps.

One of the best things about dude is that he never takes credit for himself when he achieves something. He always respect us, the audience, and his team, and he is always polite in all of his videos. We congratulate ourselves on this achievement. More to come and everything to come️️
