Momma of 5 here, I do all the cuts here and my boys are at the age for a more crisp fade! So thanks for helping a momma out!!! My husband has been so patient with me and you just made it easier for me! So thanks! Keep droppin knowledge ❤️
Easily the most informative video out there. Please do a video on fading your own hair. Thanks!
There are various ways that barbers fade, alot of barbers shouldn't be doing fades and some are amazing. Finding that one barber who can do a real fade is awesome. I like your process and thats basically how I have learned myself. The way you do it creates a perfect fade, you can't go wrong and it will always look good.
Appreciate it, love the energy, focus and detailed learning steps!
Always droping knowledge! Thanks
Another great video Eddie! I'm so appreciative of your teaching in video form.
Man...these tutorials are so 🔥🔥🔥🔥I don't think there is anyone else on RUclips as thorough with teaching. God bless!
This is the best fade video I’ve seen. Thank you so much!

I rlly appreciate u Eddie ur the best teacher in the barber game! I see ur passion keep it up 👍🏽💈💯
Thank you so much for all your videos brotha! I have learned everything I know off of youtube videos. And I started out just wanting to keep my son fresh, and now I've got a bunch of people regularly wanting cuts. I really wish I would have discovered this passion at a younger age before I got such a busy schedule and wife and kids to provide for so I could go to school to get my license. Right now even going to night school would give me no time with my family, so I'm kinda stuck. But once again thank you for all the knowledge you drop on the regular. I'll be adding you on Instagram right after I post this. God bless.
I wish I could join your program! I’ve learned so much just watching your videos
It's crazy looking back on some of these! Love you
They are awesome videos👍💕
Appreciate your videos,Thank you !!!
Great video thank you!
Thank you for your help brotha I was cutting my sons hair and I was missing a piece of the puzzle and you helped me out thank you so much!
Mr. Eddie, do you think that the fact that Masters open wider (000 - 1) than Wahl magic clip (000 - 0A) changes the diagram that you often bring up? For instance, in order to achieve a length of the lever open on the Magic Clip, the Andis Masters gotta be around half open. Andis has a chart that compares all its guards and blades, and this is the connection that I got out of it. I really appreciate you taking your time out to read this and have so many helpful videos. Best of luck to you!
RUclips Barber Academy thank you, Eddie
Your the best!! You rock !!
Very informative young Brother!!
This was The Best tutorial you've ever done..... Bravo!!!! Thanks for this!!!! This is just great! I was worried you wouldn't finish the cut but you did and it was nice as hell!!! I was also worried about you using Masters as most people well newer barbers use the Wahl magic clip! And you covered that! Nice work..... Next if you could do it with the Wahl fade blade no matter which clipper but I want to see if there is a difference in the way the blend looks! But yes..... You succeeded in fadeology lol! And if you could zoom in on the blade while you're cutting..... Then we could see how you're holding IT! And put it in slow motion a bit at the same time.... omg I would start charging 60$ after I watched it lol.... Because that would be an actual dummy proof way to show us.... If not..... I'm sure we will figure it out from here,!!! Encore,!
Thanks. For the knowledge 👨🏾🏫 have u tried the omnicord ceramic blade for the master there 🔥🔥🔥.
Keep it up. I like the energy. And the tips. You got really good work bro. I been getting better with my self cuts because of your tutorials. People ask me where I got my haircut and I don't think they really believe me when I say I do it myself. Lol they like to ask who does the back of your head. Smh lol just sharing bro
Thank you so much
I haven't been cutting to much hair ever since I moved to Alaska. But back home in HI I be hooking everyone up in the hood.
Great video.. !
awesome video man! what are your pros and cons of the masters? and also did you use the standard or fade blade on them?
You’re increíble. Thank you good sir!!!!!
You ere the best!!!
Where can I get that hair brush? Great video! 🔥
This video Is very interesting I was taught to flick out all the time I still do uk barbers are probably different to us barbers but still a good video
do you have a straight razor eyebrow tutorial?
Can you do a tapes fade tutorial
Knowledge hell ya that's what's up
That ring tone tho🔥🤙😁
Perfect
What blade do you use on the volt when you are doing Clipper over comb
Nice ring tone tyga tyga
Awesome video ! You’re a great teacher. I was wondering though , if it was necessary to zero gap or modify the Andis masters before cutting?
@@RUclipsBarberAcademy thank you 🙏🏽!
Same concepts you can use on your own head or is there a difference?
Awesome video, you lose points for your ringtone though 😂😂
My man Ed!! What's poppin my barber brother?? Another great video bro...I'm not a huge andis master fan either. So many people are in love with them but I'm not one of them.. lol!! So your oster volt, are they worth the money?? I've been wanting to buy a pair but wanted to know ur full opinion before I pull the trigger and buy them!! Lol!! I know you've said you really like them, but in all honesty, are they worth the price tag??
RUclips Barber Academy I appreciate it bro!! I'm going to ebay right now to order a pair!! Lol!! Thanks for the advice!!! Barber love from Jeff's Barber Shop in Michigan!!!💈🍀💈🍀💈🍀💈🍀💈🍀💈🍀
Wat u think about the peanut
What type of brush are you using? Are the bristles synthetic?
But i thought the master opened up to a 1, so when yo close the 1/16 guard and erase that open lever line wouldnt it cut shorter than the open lever? Also wouldnt the 1/16 open cut more than a 1 guard closed?
That’s been my trouble and couldn’t figure out and why I ordered a wahl senior
I struggle with the 0 guard and getting out that 1/16th line. For some reason I always lose track of the 1/16th going into the 1. Any tips especially for more course hair or hair that grows in a spiral pattern/or a head that has divets in it? I find fading to be easier on certain heads. Even if I lay the 1/16th blade flat it seems like it doesn’t cut and I’m using Fade Masters. Any tips bro? I feel like you may be touching on my issue which is not having correct pressure and strokes on my cuts but tbh I get scared sometimes to the point I end up digging to try and erase the line.
the #1 guard with the lever all the way open does it equal to #2 or #1.5 ??? Talking about for the Andis Masters.
Had a question? I just barely ordered the andis masters 01557 and do they come with blades? If not can I use my old wahl guards for my new andis? And if not where can I get some. Would appreciate it if you can give me an answer.
It’s that a taper blade you using on your masters or a surgical blade
Low fade tutorial please ✌️
RUclips barber what trimmer do you use?
@youtubebarberacademy doesnt the master open to a 1? so how is the 0 guard even needed? cant you use the 1 guard, close it and blend right into the no guard open? all help is appreciated side question andis has a 0 -1/16 and also a .5 - 3/32 what is the .5 used for? it doesnt fit into your system. thanks
Mr. Eddie barber you never got got to me about have u done a tapper Fade?
Okay cool I will most definitely check it out
@@RUclipsBarberAcademy
It is the same steps with the Whal Magic Clippers ?
Do you mean, compartmentalize?
I have andis T outliner and my blade broke. Going to replace the blade but don’t know which blade to get gtx or the original one. Which do you recommend? I have never used the gtx.
Thanks much appreciated
What do you mean by 0. Do you mean guard size 0 or just no guard at all
Metal only
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Bro you should do a video about clippers set ups like for example pros and cons with taper blade fade blade and your personal best set ups I’m just starting out and I think this would be helpful
👍
A number 2 detachable is not a true 2, it’s more like between a 1 1/2 and 2. A true 2 would be the 3 1/2 detachable IMO.
I always thought a true 2 was the metal blades, and I think the 2 3/4, is closer to a #2 plastic in my opinion.
I thought the "true" #s are the detachable blades but that now we're all just so used to the guards
How you like the masters bro?
@@RUclipsBarberAcademyok you never got back to me on what's good with the two red BaByliss Clippers you have in that garage clearing out video what are your plans with them?
@@RUclipsBarberAcademy well let me know what you decide we might be able to work something out
🔥🔥🔥💯🏁
*Dedicated Learner still
Way easier ways to fade
The whiteboard demonstration doesn’t help because we can’t see what you are writing on it.
No disrespect but u look a lot like Seth McFarland
