I have cut my own hair since I was thirteen and that was 38 years ago. Back in the early nineties I became the barracks barber in the military for my friends. I just bought the Andis Master, Andis T outliner, and Andis foil shaver and a bunch of professional grade accessories much to the disproval of my wife. But when I showed her by cutting mine and my two boys hair and whoever else wants to be a Guinea pig I will have more than paid for them in a few short months. I have always used cheap clippers and very little else. It’s time to up my game as I have always wanted to be a barber. Thanks for the videos.
Absolutely! 1. Create first guideline (bald) 2. With lever all the way open go up an inch 3. Start to fade the bald guideline out with the lever closed and little by little open the lever until you reach the lever all the way open or then line is fully faded out. Just make sure to stay under so u don’t raise the fade. Let me know if that helps! Always willing to explain n help.

is that a fade blade or stock blade? Also you say 2 and a half and i think its more like a three from my understanding if its a two all the way open.
So by skipping the #1 is it safe to say you also can use andis 0.5 instead of 0 and blend into the andis 1.5 using andis guard system?
