Yellow River (Marcello's Drum Covers)

As recorded by (Jeff) Christie in 1970. The Tremeloes recorded this song first, but declined to release this recording . So musician Jeff Christie, who wrote the song anyway, decided to put his own vocals to the Tremeloes recording (with original lead-vocalist and drummer Dave Munden on it.) And it became a smash hit! And the Trems regretted their decision ever since....

Thanks for you nice comment, Abe! To be honest, I didn't know this band, but I think they were very underrated, they were really great indeed! They fit in the genre of guitar bands, like The Shadows, Ventures, but also the Dutch Indo-bands. All very good bands. Who knows if I do one cover. I like the drummer very much!
